Chapter 31. I want you to come back now!

It's been a week and Sunstreaker hadn't called me anymore nor tried to app with me. I was slightly upset but on the other hand, I was somehow happy I heard his voice. I just wish he wasn't right. Perhaps it's because of the bonding that I keep thinking about him. Afterall, he's still my mate. Carlos sat down in front of me, handing me some toast. 'Our last day in France,' he said and smiled. I returned the smile and popped some food in my mouth.

Sometimes you have a strange feeling I got that feeling right now. An uncomfortable feeling that clutched onto my stomach. We ate in silence and as I looked through the window, I saw Sunstreaker. I thought my heart stopped beating. I coughed up my orange juice in the process. 'You're okay?' Carlos handed me a napkin. I still wasn't able to utter a word and looked back but Sunstreaker had vanished. How did he find me? He must have tracked my phone. 'We probably should take a flight earlier,' I said when I was finally able to speak. Carlos raised a brow. 'Why?' he asked. 'Because, I think it's important to get back early,' I said.

'I don't understand. We would spend one more day in Paris,' he said, still confused. I didn't know how either how to explain and simply brushed it off. I sighed and stopped eating,— not hungry anymore. What if he found me?' I bit my lip and looked around. He can't. It's impossible, he's in my mind too much. I really tried to convince myself and that I would never talk to him again. The risk is too big he'll find me.

Carlos and I went into Paris after breakfast, entered some shops and I seemed to spot Sunstreaker everywhere. 'It's just my imagination,' I whispered to myself as I looked around. Maybe it was just my stupidity. I don't want to think about what will happen if Sunstreaker actually catches me. I waited for Carlos and he grasped my hand, taking me back to the hotel. 'You're so quiet,' he said with a frown. 'Just tired, that's all,' I said. He hummed and walked inside the building. I looked over my shoulder one more time before following.

We had packed the last few things as the hotel phone rang. Carlos picked up. 'Hello?' I sat down, trying to close the zipper. 'Alright.' I looked up. 'The reception, I'll be right back,' he said. 'Why did they call?' I asked. He shrugged and walked out of the room. I jumped on top of the suitcase, closing the last part before getting up. I hit something tall yet muscular. I turned around, staring in two bright red eyes. He grabbed my throat and smashed me against the wall. 'I told you to come home,' he snapped.

I flinched while he trapped my legs so I wasn't able to hurt him again. 'I learned from previous time,' he snarled. His hot breath fanned down my face. I felt a stab through my heart and he obviously felt it too. 'You damaged our bond,' he sulked, pressing his chest against mine. Like that was going to smooth anything. 'You can't live without me,' he said, calmer this time. 'I think I am doing perfectly fine,' I said. 'You love me to death. Psychopath or not, we are bonded,' he said. 'As long as I am alive and you are alive, we are meant for each other,' he said. He leaned in but I rejected his kiss. 'I am dating someone else.'

He narrowed his eyes and grabbed my chin. 'You don't reject my kiss, clear?' He snapped. I flinched while he kissed me. He pulled back, 'I am so much better than a human male,' he sneered, glancing at the door. 'Beside, you knew I was here the whole time and you refused to leave,' he said. 'I didn't want to believe it. I thought it was just my stupid mind playing games with me,' I sulked.

'What if I would start dating another femme?'

'I don't care. If you'd like to that,' I sulked. 'No?' He asked. 'You hurt me! You killed our child. She can have you,' I snapped. 'What about fragging? How much would you like it if I do that with an other femme?' He asked. 'If you're still capable of doing that,' I scoffed. He growled, 'I am perfectly able of doing that but no thanks to you,' he snapped. I laughed coldly, 'that was for killing our child,' I snapped. Sunstreaker pushed me on the bed. 'I can show you everything still works,' he said. 'Oh no! We are done, Sunstreaker.' He kissed me. 'I know you want me, I know you long for me,' he purred as he moved to my neck.

I growled and pushed him away. 'Asshole,' I scowled. He tightly grabbed me, leaving no time for me to argue. 'I know you love me. Stop pretending you love another male because it's not possible,' he said. I yanked my arms back. 'You knew my rules,' he said. 'I told beforehand that kids are a no go! So why did you try it?' He snapped, glaring daggers at me. I shrugged, 'I don't know. I didn't want to get pregnant but when I was... I don't know, it was your child I was carrying and it kind of made it extra special, I don't know.'

I sat down. 'You love me. I know you do, so stop these nonsenses. Grab your stuff and let's go,' he sighed, gesturing at the door. I got up, 'I don't wanna go back to Washington DC, I want to stay here.' He raised a brow. 'Fine, if you'd like to stay a few more days...' he sulked, looking around. 'No, Sunstreaker... I meant, going home with Carlos.' He snorted and glared at me. 'We are beyond that, okay? I want you back and you're coming with me. There's no discussion. I am the mech here so you have to listen to what I have to say,' he snapped. I shook my head looked out of the window.
