Warning: Gore and torture. This chapter can be disturbing so don't read if you don't like it!
Dreadraid sat down with a plate full of fried body parts. He gestured to me to sit down. The soldier was in so much pain that he was barely conscious. 'What are you doing?' I snapped. He started eating and grabbed the chills sausage. 'Eating. Want to try?' He offered me a fried finger. I shook my head and sat down. 'Its really good,' he purred. 'We are going to the next stage,' he said. I looked at armless and legless soldier. I didn't feel anything while looking at it. 'Stage 2?' I asked. 'I will show you,' he said and swallowed his bite before grabbing a knife. 'Ever skinned someone?' He asked. 'A few times,' I said. The soldier looked up, scared obviously. 'It won't kill him... or at least not yet,' he said and crouched down. His entire body was mangled, body parts and flesh was everywhere. It doesn't matter what will happen, he's going to die anyway.
I crossed my arms. 'You're a monster,' Griffin growled. 'I know... there's a reason why people fear me. Even the devil fears me... what I am doing right now, if actually quite nice. I have done a lot more horrible things,' he snapped. 'Look at yourself...'
I looked at the phone and saw Skylar was calling me. I walked over to the hall and picked up. 'Sunny... where are you?' She sounded absolute terrified. 'It's going to be alright,' I whispered. 'I don't have much air left...' she whispered. 'I am scared...' she added. 'Sweetspark, don't be scared. You're going to be fine,' I whispered. 'What if you're not in time? Why is it so hard? Why can't I be with you?' She asked. 'We will, don't worry...'
I heard footsteps. 'I have to go. Don't panic,' I said before disconnecting the call. 'What did she say?' Dread asked. 'She's scared and she's running out of air,' I snapped. I dread held a piece of meat in his hand. I pushed him aside and looked at the soldier. Skinned and pieces of meat cut off. The soldier looked at me, his eyes pleading me to kill him. 'Tell me where she is and I will kill you quickly.'
He grabbed my wrist. I growled and glared at the soldier. 'You can't trust him...' he whispered. I frowned. 'You haven't killed him yet?' My half brother walked in. 'We can't kill him obviously, Dreadraid. We need him to tell us where Sky is,' I snapped and got up. Dread ignored me and crouched down. 'Where is she?' He snapped. The soldier was absolutely frightened and in pain. There's no doubt but he kept refusing to tell us where she is. I looked around the room. 'It's probably already too late.'
Dread growled and hit his face, breaking some of his teeth. I doubted he actually felt that above the other horrible pain in his limbs. 'I wanna see her corpse, than I believe she's dead but I won't take it from a punk like you,' Dread snarled. I opened a drawer and found a photo. 'Hey Dreadraid? Seems like our little fellow over here has a sparkmate.' I showed him the photo. Dreadraid got up and looked at it. 'Really...'
The soldier didn't reply. 'Let's kill her then,' he added. 'She's my ex,' Griffin said quietly. 'Good, then you don't mind if we pay her a little visit,' he said. 'Let's see how much care about her,' he snapped. 'I won't tell you where she lives!' Dread laughed. 'You think I actually need you to tell me where she lives? Don't you think I can figure it out in only second. Just by hacking your phone, I can figure it out,' he snapped.
Griffin coughed up blood. 'Tell him where she is,' I snapped. I really started to lose my patience and so did Dread. 'I am going to get her,' Dreadraid snarled and snitched Griffins phone off the table. I knew it was going to take a few hours and Skylar might not have a few extra hours. 'I found her location...' dread sulked after a few minutes. 'Not too far from here,' he added before he turned around. Griffin was barely able to utter a word as he watched Dreadraid walk off. 'Tell me where she is, damn it!' I shouted. Griffin glanced at me. 'She's probably already dead,' he snapped. I got him and grabbed his jaw. 'Your sparkmate is going to die and everyone you care about. Now give me the damn truth,' I snapped.
'What do you think your brother is gonna do when I tell her where she is. He's going to take her from you,' he snapped. 'Oh no... he's not.' I grabbed a phone and held it close to his eye. 'Tell me the damn truth.' Griffin gulped. 'I don't like repeating myself,' I added. 'The old factory in the woods...' he replied after a moment. 'How do I know you're not lying?' I snapped. 'You don't,' he snapped. I pinched his eye. Griffins scream echoed through the room. 'Are you lying or not?' I shouted as I kept pushing. 'I am telling the truth!' He shouted. I stepped back as blood poured from his eye. 'Good.'
I turned around and drove off. Setting course towards the abandoned factory. Griffin is right, Dreadraid is going to take Skylar from me. I didn't feel any mercy for the human male. He buried my female alive and expected me to be nice. No! Dreadraid can deal with him and his ex sparkmate. I am going to get my girl.
I arrived and transformed. I did a few scans. The human was right, he has been here recently. I found traces and also the place where he probably buried her alive. I didn't really had to dig far. Skylar was unconscious but still sort of alive. I gently lifted her and did a quick scan to see how her vitals were doing. 'Skylar.' I touched her with my digit, but she didn't respond. Her heartbeat was weak, on the verge of stopping. I heard a low growl behind me.
'Look who found her...'
