Chapter 11. Don't go
I wrapped my arms around Sunny's shoulders and nuzzled in his neck. "Hi handsome." He looked over his shoulder. "How was your work out?" I murmured. "It went fine. I think I overstretched a muscle in my back but, it was fine."
He smelled quite bad too but I didn't want to say that and piss him off. "I will massage you after your shower."
"You would do me a favor," he mumbled. I wrapped my arms around his waist. Sunny kissed the top of my head. "You're okay?' He asked. I nodded, "yeah, I am fine." Sunstreaker and I walked back to our room.
Sunstreaker sat me down on the bed and laid his deadly sharp knife on the nightstand. "Don't you dare to touch it," he growled. I raised my hands in peace. He cupped my cheek before walking over to the bathroom. I kept sitting on the bed, staring at his knife. Dreadraid crossed my mind. I still saw him eating humans in my dreams. He left his scars mentally. I hadn't told Sunstreaker how serious the problem started to be. I nearly saw him everywhere and barely brave enough to leave without Sunny. Only he gave me a save, secured feeling. I hadn't even heard Sunny clearing his throat. "Sky!" I jolted and turned. "Jeez, where are you with your mind," he sneered. I raised my hands in peace and got up.
I hugged and closed my eyes. I still felt some drops on his bare chest. "What is wrong with you?" He asked. I shut my eyes and leaned into him. "Sweetspark." I perked my head up. Sunstreaker pressed his forehead against mine. "You'll be forever mine?" He asked. I nodded, "yeah, you're my mech," I murmured. Sunstreaker closed the space between our lips in a, surprising, gentle kiss. I rested my hand on his cheek. "I love you," he whispered. "I love you too," I murmured and stepped back. "Alright." He pressed a kiss on my cheek before he laid down and allowed me to massage his back. He wrapped his arms around the pillow and shut his eyes. "I have to leave." I raised a brow. "Where are you going then?" I asked. "For a week, maybe two week." I stopped. "No. You can't leave! I just got you back. Please, don't leave me again." He rolled on his back. "Sweetie... I have to go and you're going to behave," he stated. I felt my eyes tear up. The thought of loosing him again tore me apart.
"Hey..."
He sat up and reached for my face. "I know you're attached to me but you have to understand that I need to go," he stated. A sob escaped. "Skylar." He pulled me in a hug. "Nothing will happen, okay?' He asked. It made me cry harder. "Look at me." I lifted my head. "You're going to be okay. I will call you everyday." I nodded and dried my cheeks. He kissed me gently before getting up and grabbed his shirt. "Shall we have some food?" He asked. I nodded and got up as well, holding his hand. He allowed me and that's the first time. He often slaps my hand away or tells me to knock it off. The soldier backed off as soon as they saw him and didn't even consider looking at me.
We sat down. "I'll be right back," he said and got up, only to return later with food for the both of us. "What have you been up to anyway?" He asked. "Ugh, nothing special honestly," I muttered and took a bite. "You look tired?" He began while cutting his food. "Nightmares," he perked his head up. "Want to talk about it?" He asked. He really tried to be nice and tried to have some sympathy, even he has none. For a psychopath, I had to admit that he's really trying his best and not as dominant as I thought he would be but that's only a matter of time. I bet he falls back in his old habits at some point.
"Dreadraid," I muttered. "My poor baby. You know you don't have to be afraid," he stated. "I know but... I keep dreaming about. You make me feel safe and secured. I am scared to lose you again. I just got you back," I muttered. "You won't leave me, Sweetspark. Promise." A smile crept up on my face. After lunch, Sunstreaker had something to do and basically told me to piss off. I wasn't really amused but what can I do? Sometimes I want to snuggle into him and hold for the rest of my life.
"Ey."
I jolted up from the sudden yell and turned. "There you are." I raised a brow. "Sorry?" The soldier rolled his eyes. "Come." He grabbed my arm and dragged me with him. "Hey! What's the idea?" I asked confused. "That psychopath isn't with you right now," he said. It only confused me even more. "What on earth?" He pushed me into the training hall. "Okay, what is going on—" he punched my jaw with so much fore I collapsed.
"What is wrong with you!" I shouted. "It's nothing personal," he said and crouched down. "Listen, I just try to beat some sense into you, okay? You're a total moron for trusting him. How can someone possibly like him but beside that, you need to understand that he's going to die." I glared daggers at him. "After all, Dreadraid is going to take you back and kill Sunstreaker."
"Don't mention his damn name!" I sneered. He laughed coldly and grabbed me, smashing me against the wall. "Chicken," he scoffed. I wiggled in his tight hold but gave up eventually. "They are both monsters," he added. "Piss off!" I hissed. "Or what?" He laughed. "I will tell Sunstreaker about it," I snapped. "Wow, look at you, threatening to tell your boyfriend and let him fix everything!" He laughed. "That's just pathetic."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "You're just afraid of him," I growled. He laughed and tightened his grip on my throat. Bruising started to form and I was barely able to breath normally. He dropped and I gasped for air,— reaching for my throat. The soldier smirked and turned around. "He will die, Skylar," he said and walked off. I hoisted myself up and headed back towards my room. My throat had turned purple and blue. I looked in the mirror.
"Sweetspark? Shall we go into town—" Sunstreaker stopped. "Whats is wrong?" He asked and raised a brow. He walked up to me and spun me around. "What happened?" He asked. "Stupid soldier," I scowled and rubbed his cheek. He growled and stepped back, "great, day is ruined already," he sneered and turned around. "Twenty minutes. Only twenty minutes and someone thinks
He can touch you," he sneered. "I thought people knew by now that you're mine."
He lifted my chin and rubbed over my throat before he lowered his face and left kissed all over the bruising. The pain was forgotten instantly. I grasped his shoulders and threw me head back. "Does it smooth the pain?" Hr whispered against my throat. "Y-yeah," I stammered. He smirked and moved to my neck and jaw. "Don't be upset," he whispered near my ear. I shivered and grasped his shoulders tighter. "Come on, love." He stepped back and grasped my hand. "Let's go into town."
