Diego P.O.V

As few days passed my parents left for their business. I started get myself ready to leave when day comes. Luckily I have enough money for couple months.

I told Shira what was going on. Shira would be there for me even at my worst moments.

Shira spoke, "I know that you are going bad times. I would be there for you."

I spoke in tears, "Why they weren't there for me? Sometimes I wished I wasn't their child."

I cried with full force for quite some time.

Shira spoke, "If you didn't I wouldn't met you. The love of my life."

"Why...."

Shira hugged me tightly. Shira began to comfort me to order to calm down. I may be weak but I need someone to show I feel.

Shira would kiss my head. She was doing everything where she can help me.

After I cried I looked at Shira and spoke, "At least I have you."

Shira and I would spend time together. Then the thought came about seeing my nanny.

I spoke, "Shira. I going to see my nanny."

Shira spoke bit shocked, "Your nanny? I thought it was your mom."

"Yeah long story short. Nanny took care of me when parents are out."

"Oh that explains everything. Your nanny was a good friend of my parents. That's we met. I wonder how your parents are."

I spoke, "You don't wanna to know."

One day I was getting ready to see my nanny. I said goodbye to my girlfriend.

I spoke, "Are you sure you going to be okay when I'm gone?"

Shira responded, "Yeah."

I pulled Shira for a kiss before I left.

I drove for couple hours to meet my nanny. I wonder how she has been throughout the years.

When I finally reached my destination. I saw regular sized house. I became nervous because it been a long time I seen my nanny.

I went front of the door and knocked. After a little while. The door opened it was an old lady.

The lady spoke, "How can I help you dear?"

I responded, "Mama."

Her eyes widened and spoke, "Diego. Is it really you?"

I responded, "Yeah it me."

Then my nanny gave me a hug. It felt like she is fragile. Nanny took me to the couch to sit down.

Nanny spoke, "I got you something that you like."

Nanny brought her cookies from the kitchen. Her cookies were the best that I ate. I remembered the day I helped her to bake cookies.

I spoke, "Thanks nanny. You are the same as always."

"Aww Diego." As she patted my head as I was eating the cookies.

Nanny spoke, "I remembered the day you began walking."

"Yeah you were there when my parents are gone."

Nanny spoke in sweet voice, "How are your parents."

I frowned and I spoke, "A lot worse they haven't changed. Recently they wanted me to marry a girl to benefit them. I rejected the idea and now I'm going to be disowned by the time I graduate."

Nanny looked like that she already knew that is going to happen.

I spoke, "How about you nanny?"

Nanny responded, "Same as always, but now I'm very old. At least you came to see me."

"Yeah I wanted to see you to thank you for being there for me."

"Aww Diego you are like a son to me that I ever had."

Nanny and I talked for hours and we would look at the mountains in the distance.

I felt bad for nanny that now she can't do much. I knew that she had happy life with me.

I had to leave and I said goodbye to my nanny. I drove back home thinking what would happen next.
