*Third Person's POV*

The two stared awkwardly at each other, both had a lot to say but at the same time no words came out. The only music screaming into their ears was silence.

Asui couldn't help but slightly fold the edges of her skirt, which was quite peculiar for someone like her to stress over something. The dark haired girl was noted to be 'The Pillar Of Emotional Support' but for some reason all of that disappeared in her mind with a 'poof'.

On the other hand, Tokoyami. A usually collected individual who never seemed to loose his cool was flaming with an emotion he could only feel with the frog-like girl in front of him.

Even Dark Shadow refused to show any signs of his existence as the two felt the heavy tension crush their lungs.

The two felt this way for a while now, and wether the whole class was already aware of it or the duo was still in denial didn't matter anymore.

While Asui averted her gaze to the floor, suddenly finding it fascinating to watch the details of the plain colour, Tokoyami couldn't lay his eyes off her.

I mean how could he? The soft long hair that seemed to be shining like silk even in dim light, pastel pink cheeks that matched that with her soft lips made his chest feel heavier, and heavier.

'No! Stop it Tokoyami. I shouldn't think of my friend in such ways.'

Gulping both completely forgot about the project the two were assigned to do together.

"H-hey Tokoyami *Ribbit* I think it's better if we start to do the assignment now..."

Instantly nodding, the teenager mentally face palmed at 'how quickly' he replied.

But as soon as the They opened the book, they knew that they were doomed from the very beginning.

"..."

"Hormones.."

"..."

"Oh this has to be a joke...."

"Well. We can finally rest in peace..." Tokoyami sighed in relief as the girl next to him yawned from exhaustion.

Tokoyami seemed frozen, he just couldn't take his eyes off her. Her body, her personality, her looks, her knowledge... Everything about her was just... Perfection.

And of course today Mother Nature has decided to slap him right in the face.

His face matched the one of a tomato as he noticed a slight tent growing down his pants.

Eyes wide, Tokoyami quickly put a pillow to cover his 'Accidental Hormone Activation'.

'NO. This is a really incorrect timing...'

His posture became more stiff and troubled, which unfortunately did not get unnoticed by Asui herself.

"Tokoyami is everything alright—"

"YES. Do not worry."

Yet the lies seemed to become translucent as the desperate teenager dropped the pillow that he held on for dear life.

Both froze in their places for different reasons, pink dusting their cheeks from slight embarrassment.

Asui didn't know what to do... Well it wasn't EXACTLY that she didn't have any ideas but as soon as her eyes landed on Tokoyami's struggling face she couldn't help but feel the need to help him...

Silently, with footsteps as light as a feather she sat down in front of the feathered boy. Her flushed face coming closer and closer as the boy tried to move back, only to realise he was backed against a wall.

Why was Asui doing this? She saw no rational thinking in this. But deep down she knew that she was only trying to hold onto a reason to finally show her feelings towards the troubled boy.

Crawling right on top of him, Tokoyami had to resist the urge to stutter as Asui's leg managed to brush right near his thigh.

Eyes forward, only then Tokoyami realised how close Asui's face was towards him.

Their lips inches apart as both of their hot breaths hit each other. Even though he tried to deny it, he could see Asui's eyes starting to cloud with a fog of... Lust?

Do be honest that was his only guess before suddenly the green-haired girl softly kissed him on the peak.

He wasn't going to lie, he enjoyed it. It was so soft but simple, he was trying so hard not to be lured for more.

With breath hitched, the dark feathered boy couldn't hold back a slight moan as he felt Asui's leg brush against his sensitive area.

Gently, his peak found its way near her neck leaving nearly angelic brushes of a kiss.

Straddling him even more, Asui slowly unbuttoned the first few buttons of her white school-shirt.

The temperature was way to boiling for the duo to sit still. Both of their cheeks were dusted a peach pink, desperate pants mixed with each other as both stared into another's eyes.

'This isn't... Right...'

Tokoyami could barely see anything as his eyes became hazy from the ecstasy as Asui lowered her hand towards his covered member.

But just before she could proceed any further, a hand gripped hers causing slight confusion form in the girl's eyes.

Toloyami's grip was tight, but wasn't enough to harm her in any possible way.

This wasn't how he imagined it to be... No. To him it almost seemed like he was using her... And that is the last thing that ever went through his head...

"T-Tokoyami *Ribbit* what's wrong?"

Panting for air, the flushed boy gently lay his forehead on hers. He made sure to interlock their hands together, but silently he helped Asui to sit right beside him.

"I am sorry but I *pant* cannot be selfish enough to do *pant* this to you..."

Asui averted her gaze towards the floor, bangs shadowing her eyesight for Tokoyami to see.

'All this time... Were my feelings one-sided? I really did embarrass myself enough today...'

Noticing the grim atmosphere, Tokoyami quickly pulled the girl's hands towards his, making her attention focus back onto him.

"Asui... I really do have genuine feelings for you... But I don't want to express them this way! And especially this early."

Gently, the boy wipes off the unknown blue tear that was sliding down Asui's cheek. A crystal tear that, in his opinion was not worth to be shed.

"I *pant* really want to prove this to you. And that's why I am asking if you would *pant* agree to go on a date with me..."

Not being able to hold back anymore, the desperate Male sprinted towards the bathroom door. Running like a maniac before locking it behind himself in a matter of seconds.

Asui sat still on the salad green carpet. Her hand gently lay on her chest as she desperately tried to calm it down.

She had to admit, her own needs took over this time. Which is something she felt slightly ashamed of, however the words that Tokoyami said echoed though her mind.

Her heart couldn't help but melt at the thought of the idea, even though she haven't replied, both were aware that her response would be a 'yes'.

Now they were probably aware, both of their hearts banging out of their chest like drums as both smiled through the dim lights of the sunset sky.

They were ready to take time for everything, for the two to feel free and comfortable with each other...

To create memorising memories that they could share with each other in conversations.

And both as sure as hell knew that the patience would be worth it...

And it definitely was.
