Last time we spoke to her, she had left us with some unanswered questions and people were dying to have her back, so she has returned once again! You probably know her as Emily Perkins from AMC'S 'The Walking Dead', or the rising star within the music and television industry. However, as we discovered last time, there is a lot more to Mya Emerson than walkers. So, with that being said, please welcome the one and only, Mya Emerson!

Hi, everyone! Thank you so much for having me here! How's it going?

It's going good. We're so excited that you're back here again, but I see that there's no acting cool like you did in your last interview.

[Laughs] Well, according to my sister, Erin [Emerson], it wasn't cool, so I kinda' threw it out of the window and decided to be myself.

AND I'M ALWAYS RIGHT!

You should be yourself! You're extremely cool just by doing that, anyways!

THAT'S A LIE!

[Shakes head, laughing] No, it isn't. I listened to your new song, 'Why', and you're crazy talented and, from what we can see in that song, you have grown so much from your last album and I genuinely cannot wait to listen to the rest of the songs on the album.

Thank you so much! That means so much to me to actually know that people enjoy my music and it makes people happy. Making people happy is one of the reasons why I do what I do, because I like to see smiles on people's faces.

Well, I can tell you that your hundreds of fans absolutely love your new song and all of them are so excited and eager to get their hands on your new album, 'Felicity'.

That's honestly the greatest thing you could ever tell me. My fans are more like my family and friends, in my eyes. They're really amazing, and I love them so much. I'm so lucky because I literally couldn't do anything without them, so I love them very much.

As soon as I tweeted out that I would be interviewing you, so many of your fans messaged me on Twitter and told me a few questions to ask you, but many of them just wanted me to tell you that they love you.

[Smiles brightly] Awwwww! I love them too! They're so, so supportive of everything I do and it really warms my heart when I read some of their comments or meet them in real life because they've took time out of their day to listen to you or to comment on your post or to find you and hug you, and that just means so much to me.

Speaking of love-

[Leans back in seat and chuckles] Oh god. I'm just gonna' leave now.

I will drag you back to that seat by your hair if you dare to leave at this part.

How do you feel when you see all of your fans commenting about you and Chandler Riggs?

MY SHIP!

Chandler and I actually read some of the tweets and comments together whenever we're bored and laugh about it. After six years of having people ship you together and telling you to date, you kind of grow used to everyone speaking about you two together.

Do you ever feel like you're pushed to date each other? Like, do you feel like you have to date each other to make the media and the public happy, and does that affect your relationship with Chandler?

[Shakes head] No, not really. If it did affect my relationship with Chandler, then it only brought us closer. I feel like if a female and a male hang out, people will instantly begin to ship you and want you to date, but that never changed how I felt about any of my male friends.

However, you and Chandler are quite close and you've been getting extremely close on your social media especially, so do you think that something could ever happen between you even if it was in like ten years?

I don't know, because I can't predict the future. Although, like I said last time, I'm not going to stick my neck out to purposefully find love. However, if love comes to me, then hopefully that love lasts a very long time.

So, about your friends, what was their reaction to your new album?

They screamed.

[Laughs] You guys have a group chat, right?

Yeah. We have a group chat called 'WALKER SLAYERS & OTHER AVERAGE HUMANS', which includes most of The Walking Dead cast and Sam [Paytas], Colton [Brooke] and Erin. As soon as I do anything, Erin and Hailee [Stark] usually scream about it in the group chat and Erin normally smashes something at home.

I DON'T MEAN TO!

She does. Erin's actually fainted before because of Chandler and I. She's a mess.

LOVE YOU TOO!

[Laughs] Well, now that we're on the topic of your album, would you mind speaking about it?

The name of it is 'Felicity', for those of you who don't really know and there are eleven songs on the album, all of which have been written by me personally. Every single note, syllable and word came directly from me and that's what I love about it. It's like a chunk of my soul and I feel like by releasing it to the public, they're getting a gift directly from me.

That's beautiful. Did you have any inspirations when writing or making these songs and what were they?

I get inspiration from hundreds of things, whether it's my family, my friends or even just a random lamp that I walk past. However, this album was definitely inspired by my relationships with my friends and my family and even my fans. Most of the songs, if not all, are about friendships or relationships.

BASICALLY, THEY'RE ALL ABOUT CHYA!

Last time, you said that you try to surround yourself with good people and you spoke a bit about who comes along with you for tour. Now, you'll be going on your fourth US tour in a few months, so who's coming with you?

I still surround myself with good people, and that's only become more obvious in these last few months. My friends are so supportive and I couldn't ask for anyone better than them. So, seeing as there is limited space on the tour bus, it was hard to narrow down my choices for who is coming. Eventually, I decided on my mom, Erin, Hailee, Colton, Sam, Katelyn [Nacon], Chandler and, obviously, all of my band members. My dad would've tagged along but he's unfortunately working most of it, however, he said that he'll try and make it to the first show. I know that some of The Walking Dead cast have actually bought tickets to come and see me already, and I'm so thankful for that because it's amazing to know that I'm a part of such an amazing and supportive cast, and we're really like a huge family. Also, I know that many of my fans from other parts are the world are wondering when I'll be coming to their country, and I am definitely trying to make that happen.

So, speaking of The Walking Dead, filming has just finished for Season Six, correct?

[Jumps up] Yes! I'm so excited for this season because it introduces so many new things, and I think that our fans will love it so, so, so much.

How has it been growing up on a gory and violent show like The Walking Dead?

It's been so much fun, and I'm glad that I'm still here after six years. When I first joined, I thought that maybe the other cast members would look down on me for my age, seeing as most of them are over the age of twenty-five and I was ten. They had years of experience and I didn't. However, all of them welcomed me with open arms and they never treated me like I was a child and they never mocked me for my age. Instead, they pushed me and gave me advice on how to get better, like I was an actual adult and I so grateful that I found such a supportive cast and, along with it, found some amazing and wonderful friends.

They sound really sweet and I'm so glad that you have some amazing friends. Unfortunately, we're running out of time. So, Mya Emerson, you are absolutely amazing. At the age of sixteen, nearly seventeen, you've been on three US tours, going onto your forth US tour in a few months, and you've managed to get on the top charts with numerous songs, including Why. You've sold out shows for your last tour, and for this tour already, which is insane. You've been in two long time running television shows as main characters, both of which became huge hits. Thank you so much for taking the time to come out here and have another interview with us today.
