❝I HATE IT WHEN YOU CRY, MYA.❞
"I'm here!"
When Mya opened Chandler's bedroom door, she instantly glanced around the room as she expected him to jump out and scare her like he normally did, however, the blonde-haired female didn't see anybody, causing her blue orbs to narrow. The petite female walked further into the room, still not seeing any sign of Chandler, so she placed her bag on his bed and released a small sigh, thinking that he might've gone to the shop to buy something.
Suddenly, a pair of soft hands tightly grabbed Mya's shoulders as a familiar, deep voice screeched in her ear, "Boo!"
The blonde-haired female let out a boisterous yelp as she jumped out of fright, spinning around to see who had scared her, and Mya let out a large sigh of relief when she lay her eyes on Chandler, who had a large smirk plastered across his face at the female's hilarious reaction.
"Are you trying to kill me?!" Mya yelled out, her hand placed over her thumping heart which was screeching from the fright and adrenaline, though the small woman also thought that some it could be due to the man sculpted by God who was currently standing in front of her.
Chandler let out a small chuckle before he made puppy eyes and pouted sadly, faking a sniffle, "I'm sorry."
Letting out a small groan, Mya knew that she wouldn't be able to resist him, causing her to accept his apology, "Apology accepted, idiot. Now, could you please stop making that ridiculous face?"
In her mind, Mya was only thinking about how adorable Chandler looked. However, she soon forced that thought out of her mind as she refused to believe that she was in love with her best friend.
"C'mon, this face is adorable and you know it!" The brown-haired male protested, laughing slightly as he did so.
"No, it's not." Mya playfully rolled her eyes, before she dived on Chandler's bed and grabbed the television remote, "But, Netflix is adorable, so would you please sit your butt down."
The blonde-haired female only wanted the topic of Chandler's adorable face to end, so then there wasn't a chance of her ever admitting that she thought that he was so handsome and that she might potentially love him.
Stubbornly, Chandler crossed his arms over his chest, "Not until you admit that my face is adorable."
"Your face is adorable, now sit." The blonde-haired female repeated, laughing slightly.
Instantly, Chandler shook his head, despite a large smirk still being present on his lips, "No, no, no, no. Say it like you mean it, Mya."
"And what will you do if I don't say it like I mean it?" The small woman challenged, raising her eyebrow.
The male placed a finger to his lips as he thought about it, and then a mischievous smirk fell across his lips as he remembered one of Mya's weaknesses, "I'll tickle you."
"Chandler, don't you dare!" Mya yelled out, furiously shaking her head as Chandler made his way towards her, and the blonde-haired woman knew that he was serious about tickling her.
When the pair was filming Season Four of The Walking Dead, there was a scene where Carl tickled Emily after she playfully refused to accept his apology. Due to that scene, the entire cast had found out that Mya was ticklish, and Chandler knew her worst points and what would make her laugh the most.
With his large smirk still on his lips, Chandler crawled onto the bed and launched his hands towards Mya as he began to tickle her, causing the female to burst out in laughter once his fingers made contact with her skin.
As the male watched Mya laugh hysterically, a large smile formed on his lips as his heart began to beat like crazy, as though it was a wild heart that wasn't in control. Chandler had never really noticed before, but as he looked at Mya's features, the male soon realised that she was beautiful, and if there was a definition for perfect, then she would definitely fit it. Her laugh made his heart beat even faster, and he thought that it would genuinely explode at any moment.
The male had never really noticed that she was beautiful before, simply because he never cared about how she looked and he had only ever noticed her personality, which he knew was stunning. She had hints of innocence (which rarely ever showed, but was still there), while she also was extremely violent. It was a perfect mix between the pair, and was something that Chandler truly loved about her. He could also name other things that he loved about her personality within a few seconds. He admired how hard she worked, and how she was able to act in The Walking Dead while releasing new music and modelling. He loved how she expressed her own views and beliefs, not caring about what others thought about her. He adored how she was genuine to everyone she met and how she was so sweet and polite, even to the paparazzi who would never give her any space. He loved her.
"Chandler, stop!" Mya called out in fits of laughter, snapping the brown-haired male from his thoughts as a faint blush rose to his cheeks, which he hoped Mya wouldn't be able to notice.
The man let out a small chuckle, "Say it."
"Your face is adorable!" Eventually, Mya repeated the phrase as she continued to laugh hysterically, wriggling around under the man as she attempted to get away from him.
Instantly, Chandler halted his actions, causing the female to let out a large breath of air as she wiped away her tears of laughter, and Chandler decided to dramatically flip his hair, "I know."
Letting out a small scoff, Mya sat up on the bed as she regained her breath, and then she grabbed the television remote and switched on Netflix, flicking through the random sections and attempting to find a new series that the pair could watch.
"I swear that we've watched everything on Netflix." Chandler spoke up, letting out a small chuckle as he sat beside Mya on the bed.
Mya glanced over at the man for a few seconds, before turning her attention back to the screen as she continued to look at the different shows that they had already watched, "We probably have."
"Hold on, what's that?" Chandler questioned as he pointed to the screen which displayed 13 Reasons Why, "We haven't watched that."
"That's because I've been avoiding it. It's a sad show and will probably make both of us cry, but it is basically a show about suicide and bullying." Mya briefly explained to the man as she knew a small bit about the show, but she didn't know a lot of it.
Hesitantly, Chandler nodded, "We'll watch the first few episodes."
Following his commands, Mya pressed play as the pair of them turned their full attention to the show that was playing in front of them on the big screen. Within a few minutes, the pair of them was hooked, barely talking to one another unless it was about food, drink or the show itself.
Soon enough, the two had watched the entire series and the sun was beginning to rise, which made the pair realise that they had stayed up all night without even realising it. However, that was the last thing on their mind as tears streamed down Mya's face while Chandler had a few tears dotting his blue eyes.
"Why did you make me watch that?!" Mya questioned sadly, glancing over at Chandler who was wiping away his own tears.
The brown-haired male shook his head, putting his hands up in surrender, "I didn't know that it would make us cry!"
Mya continued to weep sadly as she thought about the heart-breaking show, causing Chandler to wrap his arms around her to comfort the sobbing female. It may have been a television show, but it still shattered their hearts as they watched Hannah Baker's life turn to hell due to some people's words and actions, and it really shed light on how even the small things can turn into something much bigger and destroy lives.
At that moment, if Chandler was asked what was his worst fear, or what was the worst thing he had ever seen, he'd probably say that Mya being upset was his worst fear/the worst thing he had ever seen.
He despised the thought of her being upset, and so the male lifted her head up and wiped away the few tears that stained her soft cheeks, sending her a small smile in hopes that she'd cheer up.
"C'mon, it's okay." Chandler assured the female, a frown appearing on his face as she continued to cry, "I hate it when you cry, Mya."
Sniffling slightly, Mya wiped away her tears and wrapped her arms around Chandler, burying her head in his warm and safe chest, "Sorry for getting your top wet."
"That's the last thing I'm worried about." Chandler chuckled while Mya moved her head so that it rested on his shoulder, and Chandler rested his head on Mya's shoulder, causing his breath to tickle her neck and send shivers through her body, "Are you okay?"
"It's just a television show. I'm fine." The blonde-haired female answered, pulling away from the hug.
As Mya pulled away from the hug, her blue orbs decided to disobey her brain as they fell down to glance at Chandler's pink lips, her gaze lingering there for a few seconds longer than she wanted, causing the female to force her eyes to snap back up and meet Chandler's gaze quickly. The blonde didn't even realise that she was biting her lip, but Chandler did realise, and his eyes soon diverted to her lips as Mya's heartbeat quickened.
Without even realising it, the pair began to lean closer to one another until their foreheads pressed together. Chandler cupped Mya's jaw, before he pressed their lips together. Instantly, their lips melded together, like they were perfect for one another.
Of course, this wasn't the first time that they had ever kissed. They had kissed numerous times before as they were a couple on The Walking Dead, however, when they kissed before, hundreds of cameras and people surrounded them, and if the pair did feel any emotion when their skin touched or their lips made contact, they thought that they were just in the head of the character.
However, this time, they were alone with no cameras around to record them, and they weren't in the head of any characters, but the kiss was perfect. It was gentle and filled with passion and emotion. The comforting action expressed much more than words could ever describe.
Chandler's hands fell to Mya's hips as the pair pulled away for air, but within seconds, their lips met once again, and Mya's fingers pulled him closer by his shirt as he deepened the kiss.
The soft and gentle kiss lasted for ages, but when the pair pulled away, they did it slowly and gently with their lips pulling apart and their eyes slowly fluttering open and once both of their blue eyes met, they both felt afraid. Hastily, Mya stood up from the bed with wide eyes as awkwardness filled the air.
"Um, I'm just gonna-." Mya pointed behind her at the door while she grabbed her bag, hoisting the backpack onto her shoulders, "I'm just gonna' go."
The worried female ran to the Chandler's bedroom door, throwing it open before she sprinted down the steps, not giving the male time to say anything or protest, but Chandler did stand up and run after her.
"Mya, wait!"
However, the sound of the front door slamming shut was the sign that showed that Mya had already left.
