I Appreciate You

You don't like me the way that I like you,
but that's okay, I wouldn't like me either.

You just make it so easy to love you and sometimes
I hate you for it even though it's not your fault.

I'm just glad that even though you know that I like
you more, you still talk to me; that we're still friends.

I'm very lucky to have a friend like
you because not many people do.

The fact that you even want to be my friend astonishes me.

I know I can be a bit of a bitch sometimes,
but I appreciate you even if sometimes it feels like I don't.
