I Want A Girlfriend

I want to be able to give her my hoodie when she's cold.

I want to hold her hand and walk into town with her
while I'm laughing at her stupid jokes and she's just
telling them because she loves to hear me laugh.

I want her to hug me when the world becomes too
much to handle and my sadness overwhelms me.

I want to listen to her talk about anything she wants;
it could be about the most mundane thing, and I'd still
find it worth listening to because it would be her talking.

I want her to appreciate me for who I am and take an
interest in what I'm interested in so I don't have to feel
like a burden every time I open my mouth.

I want to be able to see her come out of her shell and
one day she'll realise that she does love and trust me
just like I love and trust her.

I want a girlfriend who loves me as much as I love her.
