Robin's POV

'Why did Slade attacked Danielle? How could I let him get close to her!? I must find him and make him pay! But where could he be hiding? I must find him! Where is he!' I kept thinking, but all possibilities of his whereabouts where unclear.

...Uggh I need fresh air to clear my mind.

I sat up from my bed and looked at the digital clock that was on my nightstand. '2:00AM' It said. I hope I don't wake up anyone. I grabbed my mask from my nightstand and placed it on.

I stood up from bed and walked to my closet. I took off my pajamas. I took out of my closet a pair of shorts and a tee  and put them on. I put on my shoes and walked towards the door. The sliding doors opened and I walked towards to the rooftop.

I reached the rooftop and saw Danielle laying down on the edge with her legs hanging from the rooftop.

She looked so beautiful with the stars shining upon her. She was wearing a pair of dark shorts and an old  grey tee.

I walked closer to her and sat down next to her. She noticed me and turned her head to me. She turned her head back to the stars.

"Aren't they beautiful?" I asked her. She nodded and turned to me once again.

"And what brings you to the rooftop?" She asked me. She sat up and turned her whole body to me, with her legs crossed.

"I couldn't stop thinking" I answered her a little to quite. She scooted closer to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Is it about that Slade guy?" I nodded and she looked me in the eyes. "We'll find him soon."

"Yeah" By now, we were pretty close to each other.

"We'll beat him up to a pulp. He did give me some bruises after all." My breathing became sharp and heavy. I will kill Slade! He's going to pay for even touching my- What? What am I saying!? Danielle noticed my angry look and concern took over her. She placed her other hand on my other shoulder and sighed. She got closer to me and looked straight into my eyes.

"Robin. I'm fine, just some minor scratches. I don't know that little shit, but we will find him, so relax." She sounded so sincere and gave me a smirk. I returned the smile and leaned closer to her. We were inches apart. I placed my hand on her cheek.

"I know. I just feel horrible because I let him touch you. I let him harm you!" I was more mad at myself than with Slade. I looked away from her, trying to hide the shame I felt towards myself.

"Hey, Robin, look at me." I refused to look at her. It's all my fault that she got hurt. She moved her hands from my shoulders and placed them on my cheeks. She slowly made me look at her. "Robin, it's not your fault. Slade seemed very strong and powerful, but together, we'll beat that little shit, okay?" She sounded so truthful and reassuring.

"But Slade is still out there-" "And we will find him." She cut me off.

"You'll start getting wrinkles if you keep on worrying." She gave me a smirk. "Come on, lets look at the stars." She laid down and I followed her. We were just inches apart from each other.

The stars were beautiful, but not as beautiful as her. She's amazing, I mean, she just became a titan, but she sounds so collected and reassuring. I'm glad she joined us. After a while of laying down next to her, I couldn't keep it in any longer.

"Beautiful.." I mumbled under my breath. Danielle heard me and turned her head towards me. She had a questioning look.

"..I mean, the stars are beautiful." She sat up and gave me a smile.

"Come on, we need to go rest." I sat up and gave her a smile.

"Yeah." I quickly stood up and held my hand for her. She took it and I helped her up. She's so light.

We made our way towards the door in silence. Not an awkward silence, but a calm silence. We entered the tower and wet through some stairs. We kept going down the hall and we soon reached my room and her guest room. Hhm, we soon have to give her a room. I need to talk about this with the titans.

"Goodnight Danielle." I said, giving her a smile.

"Goodnight BirdBoy." She gave me a smirk and swiftly made her way to her guest room. I went into my room and as soon as the door closed, I slid to the floor.

Danielle's POV

"Goodnight Danielle." Robin said, giving me a cute little smile.

"Goodnight BirdBoy." I gave him a smirk and swiftly made my way to the guest room. As soon as the door closed, I slid to the floor with a quiet thud.

"Keep your shit together." I mumbled to myself. I stood up and walked towards bed. I took off my shoes and threw myself on the bed.

I closed my eyes and fell in a dreamless sleep.
