Danielle'sPOV

(2 days later)

'Where am I? Where is this place?' I thought as I entered a deserted alley.

I kept walking, suddenly stopping as I felt someone watching me. I looked around and saw no one. My instincts telling me that there's something wrong. I started running, not paying attention to where I was heading. I felt something move, but before I could stop I crashed into someone's body making me stumble back and the person not even move.

Almost falling, the person grabbed me from my forearm, making me stand upright.

I eyed him from head to toe. He was very tall and obviously worked out daily. He was wearing a black combat suit with a black ski mask. He looked terrifying.

"I have terrific plans for you, young one." I knew that voice anywhere. He was the cause of my nightmares, my pain, and my decision to run away. Father.

I trashed around in his grip, making him grab me even tighter. I slightly flinched.

With his free hand he reached to his left side, taking out a throwing knife. He aimed it at my heart. I trashed and kicked him, trying to stop him, unsuccessfully.

"Now let me finish what I started a year a go. Say hello to your mother for me" He said, putting emphasis on mother.

He moved his knife with force and pierced through my chest, right to the heart.

"Aaaahhh!!!" I shot my eyes open and forced my body to sit down in a fast manner. Sweat was dripping off my forehead. And I was shivering.

I looked around, and noticed I was in what looked like an infirmary room. I noticed that the person next to me jumped from surprised. It was Mr. Flaying Hottie. His face changed from surprise to worry. Why? We're complete strangers to each other.

"Are you okay!? What happened!?" He grabbed my hand and stroked it lightly with his thumb.

"Just some stupid nightmare.." I yanked my hand back from his touch. I soon regretted my actions when I saw his hurt face, but as soon as it came, it soon left.

"Where am I?" I asked, standing up.

"Somewhere safe." A half android guy said while walking in with the rest of the titans? Was that how they called themselves?

"What happened to me?" I asked.

"Don't worry, seems you were just sleep deprived and your temperature already subsided." The cyborg guy said.

"..Again...?" I mumbled to myself.

I need to find a way to get out of here and fast.

...Wait! WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SWORD!? I looked around desperately. I can't loose my sword!!

"Looking for this?" A gloomy girl in dark blue cloak asked in a monotoned voice. She took my sword from under her dark blue cloak.

"I can't be without my sword!" I said, my voice sounding somewhat desperate. Damn it.

I need to get my sword now and escape soon.

"You're not getting your sword until you answer our questions." Mr. Flying Hottie said in a more serious tone.

"Who are you?" Mr....ah whatever, fuck it. Fuck you Hottie.

"....Danielle" I quietly said.

"Why are you in Jump City?" The guy who was half android asked.

"The usual, running away." I said coolly, but my voice cracked at the end. I was now holding a visible sob.

They all stopped asking questions and stared at me. Awkward silence..

"..Sorry" Robin said quietly.

"It's fine, the past can't be changed."

Awkward silence...

"Anyway... I guess I'll take my leave now. And I'll take my sword back, too."

"Here" The gloomy girl gave me back my sword, seeing that I'm no treat anymore.

I was about to head towards the door, when Mr. Flying Hottie's voice stopped me.

"Do you have a place to crash at?" Mr. Flying Hottie asked me.

"I mean, not that I hate staying in an infirmary room with people I don't even know the names of, but I already paid the motel fee."

"A motel? That's not a place for a little lady like yourself." Android guy said.

"That's right, and by the way.." Mr. Flying Hottie started.

"You should stay with us for now!!!!" They all agreed to the orangie girl's high pitch outburst.

"I..Umm.." I was cut off by the half android guy.

"Oh btw, I'm Cyborg, little lady." Cyborg said. Just like his name said, he was half human and half robot. His skin tone was like a caramel mocha. He was very tall and well build. He looked like he was 17.

"I am called the Starfire! What is your favorite of the colors!? Do you like the human food, pizza!? Would you like to partake on the activity of shopping with me!? Would you like to be my best female friend!??" This tall girl with tan somewhat orange skin exclaimed really loudly. She was VERY enthusiastic. She was very beautiful too. She had long red her and was wearing a purple crop top, skirt, and matching high length boots. She looked like she was 16.

"..Umm Black and blue, yes, I don't know, and sure..I guess" I said quietly.

"We shall be the best of friends!!!" She gave me a bone crushing hug. Note to self, don't let Starfire hug you. She pulled from the hug and I was finally able to breath.

"I'm Beast Boy, kid" The green dude WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY SHORTER THAN ME said. I was taller by not much, but at least I was taller. He had green skin tone, pale green colored hair, and his eyes were green too. Weird. He had a purple and gray suit. He had pointy ears and he looked like he was 15.

I pinched him in the cheeks and squatted to his eye level "Aww. How old are you honey? 11? 12?" I said in my sweetest voice. He glared at me playfully and everyone cracked up laughing except the gloomy girl.

After everyone stopped laughing, the gloomy girl spoke up.

"..Raven." The gloomy girl spoke up in a monotone voice. She was very pale, not the sick pale, but the gloomy pale. She was wearing a dark blue suit and cloak. She had short blue hair and a red thingy on her temple. It looked like a small gem. She looked like she was 15.

"And I'm Robin, the leader of this team." Mr. Flying Hottie said. He was indeed handsome, I might even drool over him.. Anyway, his suit consisted of green, red, and yellow, and had a yellow utensil belt. I'm too lazy to describe him properly. He had black spiky hair. I couldn't see the color of his eyes because he was wearing a mask. And he looked like he was 16.

"Would you like to stay with us for now?" Starfire spoke up, now in a more calm manner.

" I-I don't..umm..know.." They all looked at me expecting me to stay.

If I stayed here, maybe I didn't have to runaway anymore.. And I might make friends.

Robin's POV

I don't know why, but I just wanted to keep her safe from whatever she was running from.

"Just stay the night" I looked at her with pleading eyes..What is she doing to me?

"If you stay and pass tomorrow's training, and prove to us that you are trustworthy, you can join us." I said.

~~~Flashback~~~

"What are we going to do with her?" Beast Boy asked.

"She could be dangerous." Raven spoke up. We all looked at her.

"She alone handled the Hive.." Cyborg started.

"...She would be a good addition to the team." I ended Cyborg's sentence. Everyone agreed except Raven.

"Just make sure she doesn't end up like Terra." Raven said inside my head with her powers.

"Okay, if she proves to us that she is good enough and trustworthy, she can join us." I commanded.

~~~Flashback over~~~

She looked like she was in deep thought before answering. "Okay." Why did that simple word make me so happy? I mean, she would be a good addition to our team, but is there something else? Why do I want her to stay so badly?

"I guess I'll have to go to the motel to get my stuff.." She trailed off. She can't leave, what if she doesn't come back?

"Okay." I said. "I'll go with you."

"You don't trust me, BirdBoy?" She asked me, smirking.

"Not yet." I said, giving her my own smirk.

"Okay, BirdBoy."

I waited for Danielle outside the infirmary door. Moments later, she walked out of the room with her sword in her sword bag over her shoulder. She looked even more beautiful now with her skin returning to its normal pale tone. Her blood red hair swinging by her waist while walking towards me. I couldn't help but stare.

"Ready?" Her voice broke me out of my trance.

"Yeah" I replied coolly. We started walking and I led the way towards the garage. She stared at my R-Cycle in awe. Does she like motorcycles too?

"Hop in" I said. She gave me a confused look.

"You go in the front, but I'll drive." I explained to her and she simply nodded her head.

She hopped in and I followed after her. The sensation of her back leaning against my chest gave me shivers and she shivered back. That left tingles all inside my stomach.

I placed my arms around her small body and grabbed the handles. She tensed her muscles but soon relaxed. I started the engine and headed towards the direction of her motel.

This is going to be one hell of a drive.
