Once there was a lonely girl,
A mystery to the world.

She had many friends,
But few stayed till the end.

Sometimes she would cry,
Till her eyes went dry.

But the smile on her face,
Would not leave it's place.

Her eyes were full of hope,
With the world she would cope.

Her laugh was full of life,
And everywhere it would rife.

But the world failed to see,
The girl she was to be.

Her feelings were never shared
Because no one really cared.

Then a boy came around,
And turned her world upside down.

She thought he cared,
So her feelings she shared.

In time, she would find,
That it was all a big mistake.

He would hear but not listen,
He would look but not see.

She would never forget,
The pain she was going get.

And would have to come from death,
To know the reality.

Curtains would lift,
Clouds would drift.

Never again,
Will she love the same.

Cause mending a broken heart,
Is not a game.

The lonely girl,
Will be lonely.

Once again.
