This is a not threat from God, Christians, or people who know that Thanksgiving is very important. This is the exact quote that the Carigo tells its victims before it lets them go.

The Carigo is a big turkey that just loves the taste of blood. Not just any blood. Human blood.

You are probably saying, "A turkey? Ha! Why should I be scared of a turkey? I can always run away from it."

Besides it enjoying the flesh of humans, there are other reasons why you should fear the Carigo.

The Carigo is taller and bigger than any human on the planet. It can run fast, faster than you, and speaks all languages. With the exception of its red eyes and human blood dripping from its mouth, it looks like a turkey.

Unlike most monsters, the Carigo is one of the easiest creatures that you can please. You cannot avoid it, but you can keep yourself from getting killed by it.

The monstrous turkey only wants humans to do one thing. It wants you to enjoy Thanksgiving, and if you do, it will spare you. Now that may seem easy, right? If you appreciate Thanksgiving for what it is, the Carigo will congratulate you and let you live.

Unfortunately, lots of people take Thanksgiving for granted. Instead of being thankful and spending time with your loved ones, people would rather get on the Black Friday deals or do any sort of crime.

That is not the spirit of Thanksgiving, and the Carigo knows that. Basically, if you are not thankful, you get eaten.

So this Thanksgiving, be thankful. Be thankful for what you have. Or the Carigo will make sure that you do not live for much longer.
