A/n: Today is the first day of summer vacation and what better way to celebrate the first day of summer vacation and the last day of school than to go spend some time at the local arcade in Downtown Creation City called The 8-Bit Cartridge Arcade. Y/n L/n, the anthropomorphic vampire Yo-Kai Cat visits the arcade with his girlfriend, Lolbit and gets to see his childhood friend, Kapi at the arcade as well playing his favorite game, Dance Dance Revolution on the legendary D-Pad. But when Kapi falls in love with Y/n's girlfriend, the two of them started a dance/rapping competition to see who will win Lolbit's heart.

Today at the famous Silver Sands Beach Boardwalks located in Downtown Creation City, our main reader, Y/n L/n, the anthromorphic vampire Yo-Kai cat and his girlfriend, Lolbit who are both all dressed in their outdoor/sportswear for their special date they are doing today. They are going to the popular 8-bit Cartridge Arcade to celebrate their summer vacation there because they both gamers and love to play lots of video games.

Y/n: Thanks for coming with me to the arcade, Lolbit. I never knew that going to this popular arcade at the beach boardwalk to celebrate our time of summer vacation together with such a fun activity for the both of us.

Before we had to drive all the way over to the boardwalk, Lolbit had to take the extra time to put on a "Special" outfit for this "Special" occasion on our date, a outfit that will best fit with the gaming type when going to places like the arcade or gaming conventions. Y/n and Lolbit have been together since middle school and they both have the same interests and tastes and very loyal to each other.

Lolbit: Yeah, at least I managed to save this outfit for this special occasion for our date here.

Y/n: Yep and I must say you absolutely cute and adorable in that outfit.

Lolbit: *Giggles Cutely* Why thank you, sweet-cheeks~.

Y/n: No problem, sweet-heart~. Now let's go in and enjoy our first day of summer, after all this is a great place for the video games days of summer.

Lolbit: Alright then. Let's get going then. I'm really excited for this moment.

As the two love gamers head themselves into the amazing virtual world of the 8-Bit Cartridge Arcade, they purchased themselves some tokens for the machines and an all-access pass to the most famous attractions in the arcade, the Tankmen Lazer Tag Battlefield, the Montgomery Gator Mini-Golf Course, The Super Mario Kart Go-Kart Racing Speedway and of course, the Dance Dance Revolution Dancing Game with two fully-functional D-Pads built in with it.

Then when the two decided to try out the dancing game, they spotted a very familiar looking grey colored furry Lynx Cat wearing a multi-colored hoodie and was showing off his killer moves on the D-Pad. Then suddenly, Y/n actually recognized the same kind of moves that were used on the same game on the D-Pad, it was his old childhood friend, Kapi aka his old gaming buddy that he hasn't seen since when they were kids back then. He was wondering that Kapi was going to be in this arcade in Downtown Creation City, especially for the Dance Dance Revolution game he's so good at.

Y/n: Wow. I can't believe that my good old friend, Kapi is here in the arcade. I haven't seen him since we were still in elementary school. We should see if we can challenge him to a match of Dance Dance Revolution, it be just like old times back then.

Lolbit: Sure, I can go for a game of Dance Dance Revolution. It should be a big help with my weight-watching programming. I would love to meet your old friend, sweet-cheeks~. He looks sooooo fuzzy just like you are.~

Y/n: That's true. He does looks fuzzy as I am.

Then the two walked up to the steps of the game with their all-access passes and they waited for Kapi to finish his round of the game because Y/n remembered that a gamer needs to have complete focus in order to beat the game with flying pixelated colors.
With Kapi finishing the round with a signature move, he then spotted his old friend, Y/n here in the arcade with his lovely girlfriend, Lolbit.

Kapi: Yo, Y/n! Good to see you again! It's been forever since we last met.

Y/n: Yeah. I can see that you still got that gaming spirit in you. You seemed to be practicing that game for quite a long time.

Kapi: It doesn't take too long to be an expert in this or any game to be a true gamer like me and I can see that you still got that same gaming spirit too.

*Kapi notices Lolbit.*

Kapi: Oh and who is this lovely vixen you got there?

Lolbit: *Giggles* My name is Lolbit, Y/n's faithful girlfriend. Please to meet ya.

Y/n: Same old Mr. Steal-Yo-Girl Kapi, still having trouble finding your soulmate?

Kapi: You could say that, but no offense bro. She is just way out of your league.

Y/n: Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure you can be as lovable towards her like a vampire Yo-Kai cat like me.

Kapi: Then why don't we battle each other to see who can be a worthy boyfriend to Lolbit. Winner gets to win her heart as her official boyfriend.

Y/n: You're on, Kapi. I was one of the best Dance Dance Revolution dancers in Creation City.

Kapi: Then, let's dance.

Lolbit *Thinking*: They're having a competition over me. I may love my cute little kitty cat, Y/n, but I can handle two cute kitty cats for the price of one. But this might be interesting to watch these two gaming cats battle each other in a dancing contest, so I better cheer them on since I am the head cheerleader in the high school football team.

As the battle for true love beginning, the two gaming cats started their first round in the game with fire in their hearts and with Lolbit cheering them on.

*Round 1 - Song Plays - "Wocky" - Vs. Kapi - Arcade Showdown*

After the first round, it ended up in a tie and thanks to Lolbit's cheerleader skills has started drawing some attention from the crowd that was impressed of the two dancing out their gaming skills on the D-Pads.

Kapi: Wow. I have to admit, you still got the skill in you, but this game is just getting started.

Y/n: Alright then. Round 2 is a great way to get this party started.

Kapi: Oh yeah! Now you're talking!

Lolbit *Thinking*: Wow. Those two really are good friends. They both treated each other like they were brothers. *Sigh* I just wish they can agree to share with me, I don't mind having two boyfriend in my life and I wonder why Y/n is the feline heartthrob in our school.

*Round 2 - Song Plays - "Beathoven" - Vs. Kapi - Acrade Showdown*

After the second round finished, the match still ended up in a tie and it caused both Kapi and Y/n to become incredibly frustrated at this point with Kapi stomping his foot on the D-Pad, which caused to create static from the impact of Kapi's foot. Even though they still ended up in a tie-breaker, more people in the arcade gathered around to see the action between the two, thanks to Lolbit's impressive cheerleader skills, but she feel worried about the two fighting over her and felt scared to see the two getting frustrated over the tie-breaker, hoping that she can figure a way to end the conflict between the two and save their friendship as gaming buddies.

Y/n: Dang it! Another tie-breaker! This is getting us nowhere if we keep getting a tie every time we play these kind of games, Kapi!

Kapi: It's not my fault that your vixen girlfriend was so dang hot!

Y/n: Leave Lolbit out of this Kapi, this game is between you and me and I'm not going to lose this game and my girlfriend on my watch.

Kapi: Bring it on, Kit Kat! I was born to play this game.

Lolbit *Thinking*: Oooh boy, I better come up with a plan to stop this fight and fast!

*Round 3 - Song Plays - "Hairball" - Vs. Kapi - Arcade Showdown*

With Round three finished and the rapid-growing crowd cheering them on and with yet another tie-breaker after the third song was finished. Y/n and Kapi finally calm down after they finished the third song and they can tell that their D-Pads are getting worn out for all the aggressive dancing they did during the song. They both looked at each other and they realized that fighting against each other just to get what they want whether it's the last slice of pizza or to do the dishes tonight and to see a whole bunch of people cheering them on from all of the dancing they've done in their battle. Then they realized that the arcade was about to close pretty soon and they have enough time for one last song before they have to go home for tonight.

Kapi *Thinking*: Wow. That last round was so intense that we both almost broke the D-Pads and I didn't realize the crowd around us cheering us on during our match and the arcade is about to close pretty, which we still have time for one last song before we all go home for tonight. I probably shouldn't have done that to my old buddy like that for trying to prove that I can impress her to be my girlfriend. It's just like doing the same thing with my other friend, Boyfriend and his lover, Girlfriend and I am glad that I'm over because I won't have to deal with her demonic father like Tabi had to deal with back then.

Y/n *Thinking*: Wow. That was rough after that last song and I think we nearly broke the D-Pads. I didn't even see all the people watching us battling in our match. I wish I wasn't so harsh on Kapi like that. I actually feel bad for him for not having a girlfriend like Lolbit and I can tell she felt worried for both of us.

Lolbit: You guys feeling alright?

Kapi & Y/n: Yeah.

Lolbit: That's good. I was getting worried about your old friendship after you both tried to prove each other who is the better boyfriend.

Y/n: Yeah. Sorry about that, Kapi. I guess that I left my anger of protecting my love for my girlfriend that almost ruin our friendship.

Kapi: No, I'm sorry Y/n. It was my Steal Yo-Girl Attitude that got us into that mess. Guess we went too far on this battle. All I wanted to have a total hot girlfriend like you and seeing you trying your hardest on the game makes me feel bad for almost breaking our friendship.

Y/n: I feel the same way you do, Kapi. If only we have some way to solve both of our problems.

Lolbit: Then why not sharing our relationship with Kapi?

Y/n: Share our love with Kapi? What do you mean by that, Lolbit?

Lolbit: We'll seeing you two having such a great time here in the arcade like the old times you two spent together like you two are brothers makes my heart smile and having you two as my boyfriend would make me even happier. I just couldn't stand seeing you two fight each other me and I didn't want you two break up your friendship. This is why I love cats so much because they're so cute and fuzzy that I just want snuggle and cuddle with them all day and night. Plus, seeing you two showing your true potential in gaming in this very arcade and learning from your mistakes with the power of video games, I can think of no cat better than you two.

After Y/n, Kapi and everyone in the arcade hearing Lolbit's confession for her love towards the two gaming cats and hearing that she is willing to share him and Kapi's love for her has made the both of them patch up their differences and accept her offer in her relationship.

Y/n: You know, Kapi. She does a have a point. This is no reason for us to fight for her, I think it's best that we patch up our differences and share our love with her. You deserve to have a girlfriend like her with me, bro.

Kapi: You know what, you're right. That does makes this better for the both of us and seeing you here playing our favorite game just like old times makes me feel happy and I always think of you like a brother to me in my family.

Y/n: Well then, you will always be a part of my family, brother.

With that, the two of them embraced each other in a brotherly hug and Lolbit smiled and was swooned to see the two of them so happy with hearts in her eyes.

Crowd: Awwwww.

Y/n: Well, how about we finish off this game with one last song as a celebration for our success in winning our girlfriend's heart?

Kapi: Sure, anything for my little bro and our lovely vixen.

Lolbit: *Swoon* That is so sweet of you two.

Kapi: Yeah it was and we put our best effort in our gaming skills, bro.

Y/n: Yep. Looks like you got yourself a date with me and my lovely vixen girlfriend, Lolbit.

Kapi: Awesome! Best Day Ever!!

Y/n: Huh? What was that?!

*Everyone looked down on the D-Pads and realized what's happening*

Well, that went out in a bang pretty fast and luckily for the furry trio after getting so much publicity in the arcade thanks to Lolbit's skills in cheerleading and Y/n and Kapi's mad dance skills, they didn't have to pay for the damage to the broken-down D-Pads since they always carried some spare D-Pads in the back room, just in case that situation happens most of the time.

Now with Kapi and Y/n both became Lolbit's official boyfriends, they all went back to their apartment at Lonely Hills Apartments and they're gonna get a whole night of snuggling when they get back home along with playing Y/n's own collection of video game as well as Kapi's own collection since he is now going to live in the same apartment as Y/n and Lolbit.

After all summer vacation is just getting started for the Video Game Days of Summer.
