augustjgomez angel has always been my best friend almost like a sister that i never had and i will always be grateful for the adventures we go on. she pushed me to audition for shiloh molina for the newest disney + show high school musical the musical the series and i can say with my whole heart that i love shiloh just as mush as angel. thank you for giving me the opportunity to bring her to life and to the family i made on set. i didn't have the opportunity to do that cool wand id thing on disney channel but the family i've made makes up for that :) you can watch the series premiere of hsmtmts on disney channel, freeform, and abc. watch next day on disney +.

THE FIRST episode of the show had finally aired on Disney plus and instead of watching the first episode with the others, Josh and August found themselves in the other hotel room sitting on the balcony.

August kept her legs tucked together, her chin resting on top of her knees and Josh's red hoodie had been the only thing covering her.

The other didn't seem to notice that Josh and August had slipped away. The excitement of seeing themselves on TV together was something they were more focused on.

August kept her eyes locked on the ocean. Josh stood from his seat, kissing the girl on top of her head and headed inside the hotel room.

August turned with furrowed brows and followed him inside, the only light in the room being the dimly lit lamp.

"You okay?" She asked.

Josh nodded, a soft smile painting his face, "How do you think the shows gonna end?"

"No clue." She smiled, "All I know is that Ricky gets the girl no matter what." August chuckled before pausing, "Josh? This is awkward, isn't it?"

"What is?"

"What we're doing? I mean, we're-"

"Friends."

"Friends?"

"Not your typical friends, you know." He smiled, "We're more than friends."

"Best friends?"

"Whatever you, August. It's up to you."

"What if I don't wanna be friends? What if I actually hated your guts?"

Josh smiled, standing closer to her, "You kill me, Gus."

"Josh?"

"August?"

"I really like you Josh."

"Then what are you waiting for?"

She smiled, shaking her head. She lightly kissed the corner of his lips. At the same moment, Josh stopped smiling and caught her lips with his.

Josh's hands were resting on her waist. Slightly squeezing the hoodie that she wore. Josh gently moved away, but did not remove his hands from her waist.

"So, more than friends?"

"More than friends."
