"JOSH!" AUGUST smiled, practically pouncing on Josh who laid peacefully on her bed.

He let out a small grunt, grabbing her by her waist as she jumped on him.

August leg out a small laugh as she sat upon Josh waist. Her smile never fading as Josh removed one hand from her waist to rub his eye.

"Thank you for the morning surprise." He groggily said.

August had never been happier. She had everything moving in the right direction and the cherry on top just so happened to be her boyfriend, Joshua Bassett.

He'd truly made a different light spark in August and it was beautiful to see it unfold... which is why she record everything. You never knew what could happen in life.

And August wanted to document that. She'd been recording her life since the beginning of 2018. She had hours and hours of footage that she wanted to share with the world, but for now her world consisted of Angelina Reed, Olivia Rodrigo, Jacob Bertrand, and Joshua Bassett.

She'd been working with her team to get some sort of short documentary or something along those lines in Youtube, but with the success of her album in the past few week those plans changed and August had to decide if everything she put her heart into was worth going on Disney Plus or Apple TV.

She hadn't made any final plans on anything, but she did want to bring the topic up to Josh because he was in the majority of it.

She sat in front of the computer for hours with an editor to see what she wanted and didn't want in the doc. Josh and Angelina had been big parts of it and she wanted to highlight them in a special light.

Of course, this wasn't coming out anytime soon because she had to sit down and talk about different things post recordings and she wanted Josh, Angelina, Olivia, and Jacob to have their own segments where they talked about whatever and their relationship to the girl.

She already had the title of the documentary under the belt. August Gomez's Guide to Change... she'd been watching Ned's Declassified at the time, but nonetheless she liked the title and so did her team.

August had some of her fondest memories on that tiny, dirt cheap camcorder that she bought from Best Buy with Josh and it held ever tear she chose to share, every moment with Angelina, and the actual relationship timeline between her and Josh.

She wanted this project out so she could remember; though, how could she ever forget anything like this?

August had been up that early because she had finished half of her interview for her documentary.

Josh removed his hand from his eye and grabbed his phone, squinting as he read the time.

"It's 5:30." He groggily spoke.

He put his phone down and ran his hand through August's hair.

She shut her eyes with content. She still sat on top of the boy, but she rested her head against his chest. His heartbeat going back to normal at this point.

"Why are you up, Pretty Girl?"

August had felt her own house with Angelina, Jacob, Olivia, Alana, and Josh still sleeping and managed to make her way back upstairs, change and get back in the bed like she hadn't left.

"I woke up very thankful." She smiled against his chest.

"At 5:30?"

"Yes. I'm sorry I woke you in my glee."

Josh shut his eyes, kissing the top of August's head, and began rubbing his hand up and down her back.

"No worries." He said.

August was pretty sure that Josh was talking in his sleep at this point. It'd been a pretty busy week for him.

He had his own music, press for the show, was filming another project with Tim, and just wanted to be surrounded by his friends. It was a lot, but he promised August that he was managing it.

It grew silent and Josh's breathing grew heavier. He'd fallen back asleep with August resting on top of him and his arm wrapped around her torso.

It gave August time to think. Though, that's all she's been doing these past couple of days.

She'd thought about a lot of things though and she was able to get a lot of it out during her interview, but they still sat in her head.

They weren't negative, but she'd been through a lot in what felt like a short about of time.

She released an album and though she thought nothing much of it at the time, it had grown to be a huge success. She had amazing people by her side for everything and she couldn't see her life without them, it was like she was in a dream and if she woke up she'd be back in her room in Texas while Angelina was in L.A..

August sighed, turning to place a kiss on his bare chest which he felt. His grip around her waist seemed to tighten.

She held a small smile and rested her head back on his chest. His heartbeat putting her back into a peaceful sleep.

The feeling of being happy all the time felt so odd for both August and Josh, but they made each other that happy that it would feel odd being sad or crying about something.

They were golden your honor and they wouldn't change a thing.
