AUGUST GOMEZ was still the same girl from Texas but with a twist.

She was a actress and a singer-songwriter... but how?

Well, she landed the role of Shiloh Molina in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and as promised kept her pact with Olivia.

Olivia had pushed August into writing something for herself... I mean, August did help Olivia write All I Want which was a huge success by the way. To add to that, Olivia ended up dropping a song called Driver's License which began an overnight success.

So what was Olivia's next step?

She got August to help her write songs for her debut album SOUR along with the infamous producer Dan Nigro.

August helped write the bridges to good 4 u, hope ur ok, and jealousy jealousy.

So... what did Olivia's big overnight success have to do with August?

Well, a pact is a pact and when August dropped BOYSHIT a song she had written with her boyfriend, Joshua Bassett (hold on we'll get there), Olivia had pushed August to drop something else immediately.

So, she dropped Kindergarten Kids. You know, that song she wrote about her, Angelina, and the space man? The song was produced by Dan and co-written with Olivia and just like that August Gomez had seen her songs in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 5.

The number 1 and 2 spots respectively.

There was a big, big push for August to either drop another single, an EP, or an album and she didn't know what she wanted to do. She hadn't seen herself as a singer or a songwriter, but she also hadn't seen herself becoming an actress.

She not only had all of that to deal with but the show had been renewed for a season two and that was probably the thing was was ready to get back to.

As for her relationship with Josh, it was still a private matter.

No one knew and they felt like that was still for the best.

Of course, they couldn't really show true emotions on set unless they were acting as Ricky and Shiloh and even then it was really just Josh and August flirting back and forth with each other.

No one seemed suspicious of anything even if Olivia, Jacob, and especially Angelina thought they had made groundbreaking moves between the two of them.

If Josh and August got alone time they would always would always go to their spot.

The spot had been special to the both of them and it was the only place in Salt Lake that they could be alone.

August loved how her life turned out. She was happy with the friends she made and the boyfriend she was able to snag along the way.

She could only hope that things didn't change because once again, August Gomez can't handle too much change.
