Chapter One
The breeze was soft and felt like it was healing all my pain and marks as it brushed against my skin and pushed my shoulder length hair back. I sucked in a huge breath through my nose and held it, hoping to heal something inside me too. It was cold enough to feel nice without a jacket on.
I dropped my head back and sat on the dust and dirt coated porch, soaking in any amount of moon I could get.
"And who are you?" shrieking, my stomach dropping as I whipped around tumbling off the porch. Looking up after landing harshly I found a shoulder buff black haired male standing at the entrance of the house. "I-I who are you?" I squeaked frozen in my spot, leaves crunching under me as I tried to find my footing.
"I'm Derek, the owner of this house," he spat, a deep snarl like tone coming from him.
"There's- what- how? There's still one of you alive?" I whispered more to myself but his face furrowed in anger as he advanced towards me.
Flinching back I stumbled onto my butt and looked back up frantically, his body towering over me on the porch. His features softened as he came into the moonlight and looked down at me, a scowl still evident on his face despite the small change.
"My existence is none of your business, especially on my property in the middle of the night," he stated with a deep hatred rooted in his words.
"You're right I'm sorry. I just come here sometimes, well not anymore now but I didn't know I'm sorry," I rambled out as I pushed myself onto my feet, dirt coating my clothes more.
"Just get out" he stated plainly, he didn't have to tell me twice. I sprinted out faster than I could really handle, leaves kicking behind me.
When I knew I was finally off the property and way out of sight I slowed down and slumped against a tree. The bark scraped all the way up against my back and tugged up my shirt, causing shivers to hit from how bare I was.
My eyes popped open when I realized I left my jacket at his house, my body clear as day in that moonlight. That didn't stop me from convincing myself later that it was still nighttime and he totally didn't see.
"Woah did you hear something?" I looked around at the sound of voices and tried sinking to the ground more to hide. The trees gave enough shade but the moonlight was making it almost daytime with how bright it was.
"We're looking for a body Stiles! There shouldn't be anything to hear," another voice snapped back.
I saw a light fling around ahead of me so I shrank myself around the other side of the tree. A body? If they're looking then that means the police are too and I don't have my hoodie. Could this night get any worse?
I spoke too soon because in front of me was a ton of flashlights. Cursing to myself I figured I could run and get caught, or climb a tree. Climb a tree it is, or so I thought. Turns out I chose the thickest tree to hide beside and now both sides of light were closing in.
I booked it as fast as I could, which really wasn't fast. Leaves crunched as I went and I heard voices that now were aware of which way I was headed and that there were others out here. Not too shortly after that fact, a hand snaked its way around my arm forcing me to look up at the police officer that now held me.
"Found another," his face turned to his shoulder as he radioed in and then proceed to begin bringing me back the way I came from. I was lucky he hadn't put his light on me but as we got closer to the end of the forest I saw the police cars lighting up half the town. There stood the chief yelling at Stiles, something everyone has seen multiple times. Getting into problems that had nothing to do with him was Stiles specialty.
My heart began beating harshly as it went into overdrive, all possibilities running through my head. I tried to run back, or anywhere but here, to avoid being seen. The officer held me easily and just tightened his grip causing me to squeal in pain. This only made it worse by having everyone turn their heads to me. It was slow motion as I saw their eyes of confusion turning to shock as I came closer.
"Okay I can understand this dumbo here but you?" Cheif Stilinski exclaimed, waving at Stiles harshly. He stood there scratching his head as he tried to hide his embarrassment of being caught. I could've worn someone else was with him in the woods and I wouldn't be wrong to guess it was probably Scott.
"Sorry Chief Stilinski, I was out on a walk I didn't mean to be in the same area. I swear!" I begged since I was telling the truth. The reason for my walk was something he didn't need to know but probably already did.
"Okay I get it but I need to take you home," lowering my head I nodded and followed him to my doom. He's caught me on a few of my walks. Some people have called on me concerned, some even scared, and it's every once in a while but it's been enough that he knows. He's usually stuck on the night shifts when it happens, gotta love how the universe makes timing work. Since those few times I try to hide more which is why I found the house in the woods, guess that safe haven is gone.
He was nice enough to not have Stiles accompany us on the ride back to my house. Stiles didn't know I existed, he especially didn't need to get shoved into my problems. I also didn't know how I was gonna hide myself from him if he sat with me. I didn't need to hide myself from the chief, he's seen more than his fair share of my problems.

I'm kind of excited for this story. I have a lot planned out and it's gonna be juicy. Warning though it's going to be DARK. The themes in this story are triggering and not kid friendly. Also I don't know everything about the Teen Wolf universe but I've been trying to re-watch it to make sure I get everything correct. If there's any mistakes let me know :)
Thank you for reading!
