"Come on, the faster we complete this mission, the faster we can get home and drink some nice warm coffee!"

In the middle of the forest, away from civilization, a group of four, known as team CFVY, could be seen walking in said forest, and the one leading them was a young woman with fair skin, short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes, which was covered by sunglasses, with clothes consist of a long, cocoa-colored shirt with an upturned layered frill collar with a black single strapped waist cincher. Black trousers that have golden lining. She wears a pair of dark black, high-heeled boots with golden buckles. And carried around a bag of sorts over her shoulder. This is Coco Adel.

"You're always grumpy when you don't have your coffee or chocolate in the morning."

And the one who followed closest to Adel was a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick. He wears a sleeveless, muted orange zipper vest with black lining and a high collar, a pair of black jeans, and brown, laced shoes. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips. He also wears a pair of long black gloves and has several pouches attached to his belt. This is Fox Alistair.

"D-Don't worry Coco, we'll get some as soon as we return home."

The one trying to reassure the human was a young Faunus girl that has long, brown hair and brown eyes. Wearing combat gear that is made up of a cropped brown jacket with a thin gold zipper and her emblem on the right of the chest, over a thin black top and brown shorts that decorated metal trim alongside black tights with golden metal flats. Accenting her outfit are a pair of gold spaulders, cuffs, a belt, that have decorative patterns. The box containing her weapon attaches to the belt. She also has a pair of brown rabbit ears. This is Velvet Scarlatina.

"I recommend tea, coffee makes you sluggish."

And lastly, there was a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin, who wore mostly pale-green and brown attire. He has a long short-sleeved robe, which he wears on one shoulder over a black muscle shirt. The robe is fastened at the waist by a leather armored belt with two pouches on it. He also wears brown pants and black-and-green boots. His left arm bears a 5-layer side which extends up past his shoulder. His weapon is affixed to his back with a padded brown strap slung over his shoulder. He also wears a pair of bracers as well as a pair of black gloves with green plates on the backs. This is Yatsuhashi Daichi.

"Don't get all wise and spiritual with me Yatsuhashi!"

Coco growls in tired annoyance, before just sighing in defeat. She stops everyone, pulling out her scroll, turns on her communication device, and looks through it with a hum.

"Look, all we gotta do is check out the surroundings that Team RWBY was in, quick area search and report anything you might find."

Coco gave a quick rundown and summary of what needed to be done, once making sure everyone understood, she looked at each other and pointed at them

"Fox, you get east, Velvet you get south, Yatsuhashi you get west and I'll get north, if none of you see anything for at least 100 steps from this last known location of where Team RWBY was, then return back, but if you find anything, then turn on your tracker and we'll come fo you as fast as we can, any questions?"

After Coco explained the game plan, making sure everyone understood, the entire team of CFVY did as they planned and split up 100 steps from each other, hoping to find something worthwhile, or even nothing at all, so that they might return home early.

"I don't believe I am spiritual, am I?"

Yatsuhashi, one of the four who were walking said 100 steps west, couldn't help but think to himself about what his leader had said to him, while also keeping an eye on his surroundings

"Don't let her get to you, she is just stressed and tired, that's all."

Yatsuhashi sighed and shook his head

"Maybe I should make her some tea, even if she doesn't want it, I truly believe it would make her feel better in the end."

With something to look forward to, Yatsuhashi continues moving on, in hopes to finish his 100 steps and make it back to his team, though instead of finding nothing, he insists on finding something, a specific something that involves a very large factory

"Huh? I didn't actually think we would find anything."

Yatsuhashi wasn't expecting to actually find something in the middle of nowhere, but since he did, he did what he was told to do, which was turning on his tracker and waiting for his teammates to come to him

"Hm, might as well scout ahead while waiting for the team to arrive."

Though instead of just standing around doing nothing, Yatsuhashi decided to walk inside the seemingly abandoned factory. He wanted to see if he could find something worth reporting, as well as make sure there wasn't any danger inside. And if there was, he was confident he could take care of it.

'Strange, everything looks old and ancient, but all looks recently clean and fresh, is someone living here?'

Though while looking around inside, Yatsuhashi was honestly surprised, and a bit suspicious, to see a mostly vacant building in such good condition, everything still looked old and outdated, but it was very clean and well-maintained as well, which made him suspect that someone lived there, or something else entirely

"Weapons…"

However, what truly caught Yatsuhashi's attention were the weapons inside, and not just any old outdated weapons; they weren't just outdated, but also looked recently made, like something you could find in today's world, both advanced and potentially dangerous if falling into the wrong hands.

'Definitely needs to be reported back to Professor Ozpin.'

Yatsuhashi was about to make a call so that he could report to the higher ups and solve a problem that could be dangerous if left unattended and ignored. Though, just as he was about to do so, he heard something that made him pause before making the call. He was suddenly tense as he looked in the direction of the sound he had just heard. It sounded unfamiliar and wasn't someone he recognized. He didn't hesitate to pull out his large sword, known as Fulcrum, and carefully walked towards the noise he heard.

"What is this huge contraption?..."

And what Yatsuhashi found was none other than the Fabrication Machine itself, Creati, though it seemed powered down, Daichi, who did not know who she was, walked towards the turned-off Creative Robot, weapons still aimed at her, even using it to poke and prod it, getting no response in return, however his guard wasn't lowered as he continued to look around, so far, besides how old it looked, not mentioning the many arms with tools or claws attached to them, he didn't find anything that stood out to him… Well, he did find something that made him take a closer look

"Is this a tail-"

Though as soon as Yatsuhashi found the Talisman, and he got close enough to see the symbols on it, it suddenly opened up, which startled him in response. Unfortunately, that was enough of an distraction to have 3 beams of green light shoot out of the small object and into the three eyes and mouths of Daichi

"YATSUHASHI!"

However, it was too late for the rest of Team CFVY to arrive, and so they could only watch as their teammate, their friend, Yatsuhashi Daichi, had his soul sucked out of his body, dropping him to the ground as an empty husk, leaving them in horror.

"DESTROY THIS MOTHERFUCKER!"

Creati, now having the energy to wake up, was instantly met with a yelling and crying Coco, as she instantly pulled out her Gianduja, and unleashed a storm of bullets, which were enhanced by her semblance, called "Hype", to deal extra damage, this was enough to damage the many arms that the Inventive Device instinctually used to block, seeing this instantly filled her with fear and confusion, once realizing the danger that the Fabrication Machine was in, she used her other arms, that weren't blocking and being destroyed by Adel, to grab a lever and pull it down, this resulted in opening a door and letting out a large two-leg machine, which was known as a "Steel War Behemoth", since the team leader of CFVY was too busy with the Creative Robot, both Velvet, pulling out Anesidora, and Fox, pulling out Sharp Retribution, were about to face off this new challenger, though, instead of having a glorious fight with lots of action, the Steel Behemoth just simply opened up its head caps and shot out a missile at them, which did force Scarlatina and Alistair to jump out of the way, while also forcing Adel to move for cover, fortunately they managed to avoid getting hit, however all three were suddenly confused when they saw the missle not exploding on them, but before they could question it, said missle suddenly opened up and released a large amount of green gas, which made the Bunny Faunus go wide eyes in horror once she used her animal senses to realize what that was

"GUYS RU-"

Sadly, even with Velvet about to warn everyone about the dangers of the green gas, the rest of Team CFVY were suddenly grabbed and held very tightly by Creati, a mix of the strength of the machine and the gas, which seemed to be some kind of poison, they had no chance of escaping, and judging by the angry expression that the Fabrication Machine was able to show with her large red optic and glowing Talisman, the idea of them surviving this situation was basically nonexistent

Consider this as a reminder that Creati, aka the soul sucking Fabrication Machine, is still a slightly evil character, of course she's not planning on causing wars or the destruction of humanity, she would rather be left alone to create machines in peace, but she will do everything in her power to survive, not to mention if you betray her that's also counts as lights out for you, so yeah, unfortunately Team CFVY learnt the hard way of either fighting someone who wants to live and needs souls to stay functioning, let's hope next time that someone else, whenever she's not being attacked or whenever she's hungry, can make peace with her and become her friends.
