What Is It?
The Featured Author Contest allows young, up and coming authors to get a little extra exposure here on Wattpad and on my website. If you enter, you have the chance to be featured on Shay Writes Smiles for a month. This month happening to be May.

How Can I Enter?
Please refer to the rules before entering any and all contests.

You must be a member of the Wattpad community, and must be following me. To enter, PLEASE COMMENT WITH:
Contest You're Entering, Name/Username, Book Title, Reason for Featuring.

What should my submission include?
Your submission should include the contest you're entering, your name (both your username, and/or the alias you choose to potentially show), the title of your most popular book, and why you think you should be considered. For the reasons as to why you should be considered, dig a little deeper. I'm looking for dedicated authors, or dedicated fanfiction authors, who have worked hard to get to where they are today.
If I feel you deserve to be featured for the month, I will contact you directly.

Submission Period?
The submission period will run for three weeks.
This submission period begins today March 8th, 2019, and will run until the April 30th.

How Long Will I Be Featured If I Win?
For a month. After winning, I'll do a sort of Q+A with you, and put the information up here, and on my Website, for everyone to get a chance to know you better.

If I've been picked, when will I know?
During that last week I'll look over the submissions, to which I will contact the winning author.
I will then reveal May's Featured Author on May 5th, 2019.

A month long feature (including shout outs on my profile, an interview with you, as well as making one of your books a permanent addition to the Featured Authors Club Reading List)

S u m m e r F e a t u r e d L i s t

What is it?
The Featured List is similar to that of the Wattpad Picks list, or what was previously known as the 'Featured Category' on Wattpad. I will be virtually hand-picking 10-20 books every three months to feature on my website and social media profiles. I've started this contest as I feel many undiscovered books are still slipping through the Wattpad cracks. It's my mission to find as many undiscovered authors as possible, and because featured author only finds 12 per year, the featured list will help remedy this!

How long will I be featured if I win?
If chosen, your book will be featured for 3 months.
