What is it?
The Featured Author Contest allows young, up and coming authors to get a little extra exposure here on Wattpad and on my website. If you enter, you have the chance to be featured on Shay Writes Smiles for a month. This month happening to be January.

How long will I be featured if I win?
For a month. After winning, I'll do a sort of Q+A with you, and put the information up here, and on my Website, for everyone to get a chance to know you better.

How can I enter?
You must be a member of the Wattpad community, and must be following me. To enter, comment your submission here on this chapter!

What should my submission include?
Your submission should include your name (both your username, and/or the alias you choose to potentially show), the title of your most popular book, and why you think you should be considered. For the reasons as to why you should be considered, dig a little deeper. I'm looking for dedicated authors, or dedicated fanfiction authors, who have worked hard to get to where they are today.
If I feel you deserve to be featured for the month, I will contact you directly.

The submission period will run for three weeks.

This submission period begins today December 1st, 2016, and will run until the last week in December.

During that last week I'll look over the submissions, to which I will reveal January's Featured Author on January 1st, 2017.
