For those who don't know, Gracie is an author who has taken to modern fiction like no other author.

Since posting on Wattpad two years ago, she's written 3 books, her most popular being, I Dream of Neverland. Despite the instant intrigue of that hit novel, I would highly suggest Reign of the Elite. This blood stained novel will draw in readers who both loved Wattpad's own 'High School Hit List', and those who charged the theaters to see The Hunger Games. Following The Elite five families in a small town wrought with secrets and lies, the students of Alpha High are learning rather quickly to take after their parents. With a secret romance, fake friendships, and relationships that can only lead to a true stab in the back, I know you all will love this story!

Since getting to know Gracie, I've learned that she values depicting characters that are authentic in every way; for instance, to write about teenagers and their day to day life, you must also consider what they find important. For most of us on Wattpad, it isn't hard to do so as we started writing in high school (or prior to it), but after graduation, we find ourselves loosing touch. Gracie is finding herself ahead of the crowd - she is her characters. By not only planning her stories and putting herself in her characters shoes, Gracie is able to put a piece of herself into each character, scene, and chapter of every book she writes. This is what truly makes her an incredible author - and it shows. You'll find yourself dying for more from the Elite here soon, and I have a feeling her cult following will soon be matched by that of Wattpad's most viral novels. How long have you been on Wattpad?
I joined in July 2017, that makes it a year and a few months.

How long have you been writing?
Ever since the third grade, it's been 5 years now.

When did you first realize you wanted to write?
Ever since I won my first writing competition in the third grade.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?
When I'm not writing, I love to watch movies. I also love listening to music, and playing the guitar.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say when you do?
Over time I've come to make friends with my readers. There are those that have come and gone, but the real ones are those who encourage me to keep going. Their comments of encouragement and their enjoyment keeps me going.

What do you think makes a good story?
If you're able to enter the story and live it through the characters, then the story is a definitely awesome.

How do you go about writing a chapter?
Before I even write a chapter, I plan it on paper. It's all about which of my characters will be involved, and what kind of situation they'll be put in. I find this method works well because it builds the drama, also keeps me from squeezing too much information in my chapters.

What gives you inspiration?
The youth of my generation. Our emotions and our conflicts.

Who influences your writing?
John Green.

How would you describe yourself as a writer?
Inventive.

What's your favorite genre to write under?
Teen fiction.

What's one of your favorite stories on Wattpad?
My favorite story will have to be 'The Girl In Black' must've read it two times now.

And finally, what's one of your favorite stories you've written on Wattpad?
'The Reign Of The Elite' without a doubt. I myself look forward to what will happen next, it's like a whole other world I've created for myself. In 'The Reign Of The Elite' I am my characters.
