After I had finish packing all my essentials, swimsuit, extra shoes, money, etc., there was a knock on the door. I hoped up off my bed, startling Boone, and dashed to the door.

I peered through the peephole to see Gabby's smiling freckled face staring back. I threw the door open and embraced her in a hug. " Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I screamed at her.

"Your welcome but if you haven't noticed its raining and I'm very wet!". I backed up to let her in and shut the door behind her.

"So I take it you saw my note for once?" She smirked.

"Probably the best note I've ever gotten from you!" I retorted.

"What about the one where I told you I was bringing home ice cream and doughnuts!"

"This ones better!"

"Whatever. I'm going to go get the Scale Crew!"

"The Scale Crew" was what she called her lizards instead of saying all of their names. She would probably skin you alive if you called them lizards.

A few minutes later she came back with the whole crew on her shoulders except for Joe who was on her head.

"So do you want to have a movie night?" I asked her.

" Is that even a question?"

"I'll see if the guys and Jenna can come over!"

" I'll get the snacks!"

I gave her a questioning look.

"I'll set these guys down of course" she said in an almost mocking tone. I rolled my eyes at her and pulled out my phone.

*group text*

Lexi_Turtle: Hey do u guys want to come over for a movie night?

LuketheMaster: Why not? U up for it Chris?

Java_the_Chris: dude we are literally sitting right next to each other.

KatWings: shut up you 2! Yah Lexi I'll be there in a few!

Lexi_Turtle: k see ya!

Java_the_Chris: we'll be there 2!

Lexi_Turtle: alright I'll tell Gabby to make triple the popcorn with twice the amount of butter!

LuketheMaster: haha very funny we're coming over now.

Lexi_Turtle: K K see u soon!

The reason they'll be here so soon is because we all live in the same building.

I went over to the tv to get it ready for when they got here. I flipped it to Netflix and made a small list of movies. then I ran to my room to grab my beanbag chairs. I set up the bean bag chairs and went to check on Gabby. She looked like a blur as she flew around the kitchen, her red hair flying. There were bowls of chex mix, popcorn, chips, and multiple flavors of Pepsi.

Then she grabbed the bowls and pushed past me through the door to set them down on the table. No sooner had she set them down when there was a knock on the door.

In the corner of my eye I noticed Gabby smoothing down her hair as I walked to the door. It felt as if I shut the door as soon as I opened it. Then they all ran over to the tv after taking off their shoes. The boys flopped down on the bean bags and Jenna sat down on the couch. "Boone!" I called "Movie night!". As I walked over to sit on the couch next to Jenna, Boone bolted out of my room and jumped on Luke's lap, pawing at his chest.

Gabby came back with the pop and the scale crew and sat on the other side of the couch. We started our movie night and after a few movies we started talking.

Jenna was braiding my long black hair when Gabby said she had an announcement.

"You are about to get the best news you will ever hear!" She began, "I got us 5 tickets to go to Bradley's Amusement Park!".

The room was in utter silence except for the movie in the background. Chris's mouth was hanging wide open and Luke dropped his phone causing him to lose whatever game he was playing. Gabby just sat there smirking at their reactions, even I reacted, she never told me she had 5 tickets!

Gabby was the first to break the silence, "Well? Are you going to sit there gawking or are you going to thank me?"

Chris ran a hand through his wavy chestnut hair. "That's great and all Gabby but have you really thought through this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well when are we going, what do we bring, who's driving?"

Gabby scrunched her face up in thought "Well I thought it was pretty obvious what to bring. As for when and whose driving I figured we could work that out now."

A girl screamed on the tv as the killer edged closer to her in the dark alleyway.

Jenna raised her hand "Well I'm open from Saturday to Tuesday."

"That works for me!" Luke added.

I racked my brain for my schedule. "I'm free on Thursday to Sunday."

Chris mumbled something about Friday and Wednesday.

"That's settled then!" Gabby said clapping her hands together, " we'll go there on Friday and come home Saturday afternoon!"

"I guess I'll drive then." Chris offered.

"I am not sitting in your tiny truck on a 5 hour drive with my stuff being tossed around like trash in the back!" Jenna said almost yelling at him.

"She has a point." I said.

"Lets play the game of elimination!" Gabby exclaimed with a wide grin on her face. She pulled out her phone and opened it to a drawing game with a blank page. She did some quick doodles on it then held it up for us all to see. On the screen she had written all or names with some sloppy cars next to them. Chris's name already had a huge green x through it.

Then she crossed out my name and then Jenna's and finally her own. That left Luke's car. His was actually larger than all of are's and he liked to drive.

"You up for it Luke?" I asked.

He flashed me one of his famous smiles "Of course!".

"Alright then," Chris said " Back to movie night!".

We all turned back to the tv just in time to see a guy get his head cut off.
