Negan is sitting in one of the cargo trucks on the right side while Carl is sat between both him and the driver. They were leaving. I stood close by, watching as Negan called out for Daryl and myself.

We hastily approached Negan at the opened window and Negan immediately said to us: "You two seem worried, so I'm taking the kid home."

Although I didn't like Negan whatsoever, he seemed legitimately whoa he told us with a somewhat concerned tone. As I slowly nodded, wanting so badly to go with them, Daryl quick spoke up and warned Negan: "If you do anything to him—"

Before Daryl could finish his threat, Negan cut him off and called out for Dwight instead. Hitting the side of the door, Negan added: "Daryl needs a time-out. Put him back in his box for a while."

As Dwight came up behind Daryl and dragged him away, Negan held his middle finger up at him until he was officially gone. To me, Negan motioned for me to step forward. I got right up there by the window while Carl glared at me from the inside with concerned and scared eyes, pleading for me to help him.

"I trust Dwight and all, but," Negan paused, somewhat whispering for just myself to hear him while he scratched his beard, "make sure you help him out while I'm gone. Just be his extra eyes and get Brie to help you, too. When I get back and everything is how I want it to be, you'll be very happy with the results."

I slowly nodded to agree with him. He spoke up again: "Make sure to keep an eye on—"

"Keep my eyes on Daryl, but don't get too close," I huffed out in one quick and slowly nodded. "I understand, Negan. Everything will be how you want it to be as soon as you get back."

Smiling, Negan barley punched my shoulder as a playful attempt. "That's my girl!" he exclaimed as the truck began to slowly move out right in front of me. "I'll see you when I get back!"

The keys on my belt loop was clanging away every time that I took even one little step. Brie was walking beside me, talking about everything that I had missed in the past week of not speaking to her. I haven't told anyone about what transpired between myself and Dwight yet. Honestly, I don't plan on it, either. I'll be taking that secret to the grave.

In the middle of Brie's talking, I had stopped listening somewhere in there. She meant well, but my mind was scattered at the moment. I was scared to death for Carl, Alexandria as a whole, and Daryl. I wanted to get this shit down before Negan returns with a vengeance.

"So, then, I told that bitch that—"

"Excuse me," a sweet and innocent-like voice chirped out, cutting Brie off. We stopped and turned around to see Sherry walking out of the women's room. I didn't even realize that we had just passed it. "Could I talk to you real quick, Tess?"

Brie seemed somewhat upset that Sherry had interrupted her, but I was mentally thanking her. Brie walked off with a puff while I approached Sherry, standing directly in front of her while her back laid back on the wall and her arms were crossed.

I didn't know what to expect from this conversation since I'm not even fully sure if she knew what happened between myself and Dwight earlier today after she flew out of the stairwell. I didn't know if he would tell her anything or not.

"What can I do for you?" I asked, crossing my arms as well. She seemed to want to stay close together and quiet, apparently.

"Can I trust you?" she suddenly asked, which caught me off-guard a bit. I slowly nodded while keeping major eye contact with me. "I'm serious, Tess. Are you Negan or are you really Tess?"

"I-I'm Tess," I replied, finally finding the will to. "I'm not him."

Slowly nodding, she had me a piece of yellow paper that was somewhat crumbled. I went to open it, but she suddenly clapped her hands over and under mine, keeping our hands on top of one another. Our eyes met once again, but was way more serious than before.

"If you want to leave, you can," she suddenly said, which didn't make any sense to me at the moment. "Nobody is going to stop you."

"Sherry, I—"

"Go now, Tess," she countered, cutting me off. "Before it's too late."

She let go of my hands and allowed me to take the piece of paper with me. I held it in my hands until my back hit the other wall on the other side. I gulped, but slowly nodded.

Turning on my heel, I practically ran away from her, but waited before I were to catch up with Brie again. I slipped the piece of paper out and read what she had written on the front: Go Now. Dwight will understand.

On the back of the folded paper, she continued to write down on instructions: Use your keys to get around the place. Go out the side entrance, where all of the motorcycles are at, and you will be greeted by Daryl. He will be waiting on you, but you have to be quick. Don't take a lot of stuff, so you won't have any questions asked on your way out. I hope that you make it back home to Alexandria, Tess. You deserve better than this place.

However, taped to the middle of it, was a key. It was to one of the motorcycles, I'm assuming.

I almost let out a tear while reading what she had written down, but I pulled myself together rather quickly. I slid the piece of paper in my back pocket, where it wouldn't even be shining out the top of it. My heart was currently doing backflips, thinking that I was going to be greeted by Daryl on our way out of here and back home.

We were finally leaving. We were finally going back home. I couldn't wait, so I didn't waste any time.

Immediately, I rejoined Brie and acted, as if, everything was okay. Being nosy, she asked what Sherry wanted and, of course, I lied. Then, I turned for us to keep walking before I realized that she wasn't walking beside me. I turned around on my heel and looked over my shoulder.

Fully serious, she folded her arms across her chest and simply asked: "When are we leaving?"
