*LIAM'S P.O.V*

I woke up when my phone beeped under my pillow, indicating that I had a text. I groaned and sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes. I reached under the pillow to get my phone.

-Becca-

Meet at my house 11am.

I looked up at the time. It was 10am. I jumped out of bed and rushed around to get ready. Once I was showered and dressed, I headed downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Why are you up so early?" My stepdad asked. Usually, I'm not awake until the afternoon at the weekends but I can make an exception for Rebecca.

"I'm meeting a friend" I answered, pouring some cereal into a bowl.

"Is this friend a girl by any chance?"

"What? Why would you ask that?" I questioned feeling my heart rate pick up.

"You don't usually get this dressed up for Mason" My stepdad laughed.

"Well maybe I just want to make an effort" I shrugged.

"What's her name?" My stepdad smiled leaning against the kitchen counter.

I sighed. "Rebecca McCall" I said with a small smile.

"As in Melissa McCall's daughter Rebecca?" He asked. My dad works with Melissa at the hospital so that's how he knows her.

"Yeah" I said eating a mouthful of my food.

"So you like her then?"

"Maybe a little" I admitted with a small smile.

"Well she seems to have a good effect on you. You've been so much calmer lately. I'm proud of you Liam" he said patting my back. "I better get going. I'll see you later"

"Bye" I waved. I looked up at the time; 10:50. Better get going. I put my bowl in the sink, grabbed my phone and house keys and then left to house.

When I got to Rebecca's house she was already outside, playing a game on her phone. She looked up when I walked over. "Hey" she smiled.

"Hey"

"I wanted to talk to you" my smiled disappeared. "It's nothing bad" she said noticing my facial expression. "Just walk with me" she said. I nodded and followed her, curious to find out what she wanted to talk to me about.

"So have you found an anchor yet?" She asked me.

"Not yet. Scott said my anger might work though" I said. She nodded. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked as we entered the woods.

She smiled. "Well" she grabbed my hand and started to fast walk until she came to a little path which was pretty much covered by trees.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see" she grinned. She ducked under some low branches and pushed her way through some overgrown bushes and plants. I had no choice but to follow.

I ducked under the last branch and came out at a massive field. There was a beautiful blue lake that stretched across a lot of the land. The sight was breathtaking.

"Amazing right?" Bex said, appearing at my side. I was lost for words. "Allison and I stumbled across this when she was training me" she said with a small smile. "It was our little place"

"It's beautiful" I commented.

"I've never told anyone else about this place. Not even Scott" She admitted. "I just thought that you might wanna escape the madness for a day. Be a teenager again" she shrugged. I smirked. "What?" She asked with a small laugh.

"Race you to the water" I then took of sprinting.

"NOT FAIR! YOU HAVE WOLF POWERS" I heard her yell from behind me. I laughed and stopped at the edge of the lake. I watched as Rebecca ran towards me, her brown hair flowing out behind her. Once she reached me, she punched my shoulder, obviously forgetting I was a werewolf. "You" she panted, still out of breath. "Idiot" she finished, rubbing her hand. Once she had got her breath back I smiled smugly.

"You know, because you lost, I'm gonna have to throw you in the water" I said.

"You cheated" she protested. I laughed and picked her up, making her scream. "Wait! My phone" she yelled, but I had already got it from her pocket. I held it up in the air and then dropped it on the ground. I waded into the water and she screamed even louder. "I'll never forgive you!" I just shrugged and dropped her in. She surfaced, brushing her wet hair from her face.

"Oops" I smirked.

"Help me up" she gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Not falling for that" I said, keeping my arms crossed.

"Liam" she wined.

"Rebecca" I mocked her tone. She huffed and stood up, grabbing my shoulder for support. Then she suddenly pulled my arm and pushed me into the water. I closed my eyes and swam back up to the surface. She had a satisfied smile on her face. "Rude" I pouted. She just shrugged and sat down on the grass. I climbed out of the water, my clothes completely stuck to me, and sat next to her. The sun was shining on her face and it was making her eyes sparkle.

"Why are you looking at me like that" she asked with a frown.

The words accidentally slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them. "Because you're beautiful"

"Please don't go all Augustus Waters on me" she said.

"Who?"

"The Fault in our Stars" she prompted. I stared at her blankly. "How do you not know The Fault in our Stars" she said.

"Because i'm a guy. I'm not into that girly mushy stuff"

"Me and Mason talk about it all the time!" She defended.

"Yeah, that's Mason we're talking about. He's practically one of the girls" I joked.

"I'm so telling him you said that" she laughed.

"He'll never believe you"

"I have a way of persuading people" she shrugged. I laughed. A genuine laugh. This felt so normal right now. Messing about, being teenagers. I felt like a normal person again.

Rebecca and I were at the 'Secret Place' pretty much all day. We sat for hours and talked until it started to get darker. "I think we should head back" Rebecca said, standing up.

"Yeah okay" I pulled on my jacket. We started to stroll across the grass but then it suddenly came over very dark. I felt a droplet of water on my face and looked up to the sky. There was a massive clap of thunder and then the heavens opened.

"You've got to be kidding me" Rebecca muttered, hugging her arms closer to her body.

"Cold?"

"A little" I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. She turned to face me. "This feels like a cliché romantic movie scene" she said with a small smile. I chuckled and stepped closer to her.

"Well" I started, looking into her eyes. "I don't mind cliché"

She bit her lip and then started leaning in. Our lips fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed my hands on her waist. I could hear her heartbeat rising and I smiled into the kiss. We pulled away and I rested my forehead on hers. I could stay like this forever. I know that both of us agreed to wait until things weren't so crazy but neither of us can deny these feelings. It's like we're being pulled together by a magnetic force.

A massive crackle of thunder made us both jump apart. Rebecca laughed and grabbed my hand, entwining our fingers together. "Come on. Let's go"

That was literally so cheesy I'm sorry. But it was cute right???

So I decided to so this chapter in Liam's P.O.V because I want to get across Liam's feelings about Rebecca and I thought that this would be a good opportunity to do it. It's funny because I literally had no idea what this chapter was going to be about and I just started writing and then this happened so yeah.
