"See this is what we needed, just a day to kick back and relax!"

Renee smiled as we had driven into town .

Dean, as much as he wanted to be the supportive brother, he couldn't stand the whole strolling in town thing.

The whole thing simply annoyed him so it was left to me, Brie and Renee.

"You did what?" They all stared at me confused.

"Didn't you guys just get back together from a break-up?" Dean frowned.

"No that was a fight.. We always fight, its just a headache"

I shook my head as I took off my snap back.

"Couples fight, you know with Jo.." He began but I cut him off.

"Yes I do and I don't want the same with Brock. Not the same exact fights anyway.. Its always about John and I just can't deal with it all. How can I move on with him when his going to bring John up every fucking time . Especially after he broke John's nose last night and.."

"That was Brock?" Renee asked.

"Yes.." I whispered.

I wasn't sure why they were surprised as everyone should have known by now as news travelled fast backstage .

"I heard that they said John got into an argument with some worker and it got ugly.." Brie raised her eyebrow as she slipped on her hair band ,she would be fighting soon.

"Why the hell would they say that?"

I didn't understand why they would lie about it.

"I don't know.. But wait why did Brock do that?"

"He thought John and I were about to kiss.."

I sighed.

"Were you?" Dean raised his eyebrow as he sat down next to Brie.

I shook my head.

"He was leaning in and Brock from his view saw differently I guess and hit him . It happened before the match..."

"Well I'm done.. Seriously I said last time was the.." Dean paced in the room while I was confused by him shouting out.

"Shut up Mox!" Renee immediately silenced him before he could continue.

"What's he talking about?"

"Nothing, he just figured you guys wouldn't be fighting again any time soon" Renee shrugged and if I had the energy I would have questioned them but I didn't.

"I think this break is best for both of you. Because like you said John is still an unsure thing in his eyes . So he needs to get over it. Realize John is your ex and that you like Brock. His not blind he most likely saw the media over the years with you two or even if he didn't maybe Paul has as well which adds to what he thinks.
So he needs time .
I know that I needed time to figure out that you were serious about having left John this time and I am your twin. So even though I see you are probably wanting to call Brock right now you said you don't want the same thing with him as John. So just be strong okay?"

"Woah you're sounding like mom Brianna" I shook my head and she laughed.

"Motherly instincts" she shrugged.

"So what? I'm your daughter now? You know I was born first.. " I frowned and she rolled her eyes as Renee laughed.

"Well you always remind me.."

"Point is. Brock seems like a pretty hard headed guy .." Renee began.

"Well.." I smiled as I couldn't help but think about the beast that...

"Ew Nicole!" Brie rolled her eyes while Dean frowned as she stood up and slowly stretched.

I shrugged as Renee stopped laughing and continued .

"Anyway he seems really stubborn so I am sure it will take him some time to see things differently to what he has made them to be in his way. So you're champion, you have appearances the rest of the week just use them as distractions. But tomorrow we are all off so I think we just need to unwind you know? "

"Unwind? Well I'm pretty sure that doesn't include me" he rolled his eyes.

"We're going to explore the peaceful places so if you.."

"Definitely a no from me guys!" Dean turned and exited while we laughed as we followed to make our way to the Gorilla for Brie's match.

"I love it here it will most likely clear up later , its a shame Bryan couldn't see it.."

Bryan's mom had been missing his dad more lately so he had gone to visit her instead of coming down for the two weeks in Dallas .

I knew Brie most likely forced him to as he would have been conflicted.

"I know.. We could have gone horse riding or something"

I whispered as I saw some posters about it as they moved.

"Can you even horse ride?" Brie looked amused.

"We used to live on a farm before Brianna!" I rolled my eyes as I sipped on my smoothie.

"Yeah but when last have you been on a horse?" She smiled and I knew she was trying not to laugh even though I knew I could still ride.

"This is not about me ..."

I sighed, "its like riding a.."

"Brock doesn't count! " Renee teased which earned her a middle finger from me as they laughed.

I joined in as I was surprised Brie wasn't complaining about the dirty joke.

We were going to head back to the hotel for the afternoon but then decided to go to a Rodeo nearby.

"I feel like I have lost touch with my inner cowgirl.." I laughed at Brie's words as she placed on a cowboy hat from one of the stalls.

"I haven't lost looking hot like one" I smiled tipping my hat.

"Well I am finding mine now" Renee placed on a hat as well.

"Do you think it looks like we're trying too hard with these hats?" She asked using her phone to look at herself or take a selfie to send to Bryan..

I shook my head as I turned as I heard the announcement for people to head in.

"No Brianna , we are in Texas! Come on let's..."

I froze which caused both of them to knock into me.

"What's wrong?" I heard Renee whisper.

I wasn't sure how they couldn't see him but then again I only saw him because of Turk holding Rena's hand.

I turned, "Brock.. I can't.."

They moved next to me to see and Brie then turned to face me.

"Nicole he works with us, you are going to have to see him . If he returns before you sort things out you'll have to be professional"

That didn't mean now.

Two days later.

"Did you guys bring me here on purpose?" I glanced between them more focused on Brie which she noticed.

"No Nicole, I thought he flew out after Mania"

I sighed and looked past them , they had gone in already so I had to pray that he wouldn't be sitting near me..

I had survived the show without Brock seeing us . We were seated higher above them which was perfect.

As we exited however , I saw him posing with fans who stopped by him as he was seated at a table with Rena and the kids .

"Let's just move fast before he turns so we can leave." I turned to them praying they would do what I asked.

"Are you sure you don't just want to say hi?" Renee offered.

Yes more than anything, I missed him.

They didn't see the look in his eyes though when he told me to take my time.

"No , I ca..."

"Aunt Coco!"

Fuck .fuck .fuck.

I felt arms around my waist and my eyes briefly fell on Brock who turned clearly surprised to see me .

I saw Rena and Duke heading over from where they had been seated having dinner.

Brock soon followed and I felt my heart racing but before he caught up with them he got stopped by fans which he seemed annoyed by but still posed as I figured since they were kids he didn't feel right refusing .

"Hey you!" I crouched down as Turk 's arms finally left me and I smiled at Duke .

"Did you enjoy the show?" I smiled glancing at Brock who was still talking to some people.

Thank goodness for the fans.

"Yes! I saw you won the new champion Aunt Coco. "

" Oh yes impressive match! So glad they brought the title back " Rena smiled and I thanked her as I was happy she had watched .

Which also meant she watched Brock's match .

"can I see it when you come again next week?"

Excitement filled his eyes while I wasn't exactly sure about what to say.

"Well uh.. "

"Turk , Aunt Coco is a new champion now she's going to be quite busy.." I saw Rena's hand run through his hair.

She smiled and I knew Brock had to tell her about what happened and guilt immediately swept over me.

This is why she was afraid of letting me around her kids.

She was afraid this would happen while they were now attached I guess.

"Uhm well I can show you next week if your mom let's me come over to your house?"

I smiled at Duke who waved again and I finally stood up straight .

"Sure.. I'm sure Turk would love to show you his collection"

She mouthed a 'thank you' afterwards.

I nodded as I had truly bonded with the kids, and I was happy she was allowing me to hang out with them regardless of the current complication with the Beast.

I remembered who was next to me.

"Oh uhm.. Rena this is my sister Brianna and my very close friend Renee and guys , these two are Turk and Duke"

All the boys did was stare at them and I felt slightly less bad about my first time meeting them as this was how they were...

They shook hands just as Brock finally appeared and looked annoyed.

Either it was seeing me or having to take pictures or both.

"Hey Brock.." I said before throwing my attention off him and saw another man approaching.

"Oh , this is my husband Rick he has some business here so we flew down today and came here as well for the week .His parents live down here. " she kissed his cheek as she introduced us while I felt Brock's eyes on me but I ignored it until he said my name.

"Nicole.."

I glanced at him and saw him walking away.

I sighed as I followed and folded my arms while he glared at a guy whose eyes trailed over me as he walked past us .

"We are on a break Brock.."

"On a break which means you are still my girlfriend"

I sighed not wanting to argue with his logic and lift the top of my tank top to try and reveal less cleavage which didn't help but he didn't scowl about it anymore .

"I wasn't expecting to see you here. I just want to leave"

"Because I am here?" I saw his jaw clenching and this was why I hadn't wanted to see him before he figured things out as we would end up arguing again.

"Brock.." I breath but he cut me off as the beast was slowly becoming angry.

"So you can tell me you don't want to be with me to my face but you can't even speak now"

I shrugged as I was afraid if I did he would hear the shakiness in my voice.

It was my turn to just stand there as he glared at me.

He was about to say something and by the darkness in his eyes I knew it wouldn't be good but I heard Turk's voice before his.

"Aunt Coco! " I saw the boys come over and I knew Rena must have sent them as she looked at him noticing the anger she was most likely familiar with .

I took it as my chance to leave..

"Hey guys.. so I'll see you soon okay?" I smiled as I looked down at them which led to them nodding .

"Soon?" I heard Brock but ignored him.

I kissed their foreheads and they ran back to their mom and I was about to head over as well to say my goodbyes to Rena but felt Brock's hand on my arm as he pulled me against him .

"Can you stop being like this?" He whispered and I looked up at him.

"Can you trust me?" He sighed letting his hand leave me as he took off his hat.

" I do." He shrugged but seemed unsure of himself.

I sighed as I felt my heart aching. I let my fingers trace over his hand which hung on his side.

The heat was still there.

He stared down at it briefly before looking into my eyes again.

"No you don't.. So figure it out Brock" I whispered.

I walked away fast and waved at Rena not wanting to go over there which caused Renee and Brie to come over as we left.

I didn't want to look back as I fought back tears.

"His boys are so cute. You didn't tell me you met his ex before.I actually didn't realize he had been married to Sable " Brie glanced in the rear view mirror as Renee spoke from the back seat.

"I thought it would be obvious"

I rolled my eyes as I decided to focus on that instead of me missing him again .

"Because you are my sister from another mister and I know how hard seeing your Beast must have been I'll ignore the annoyance in your voice"

"Sorry.." I turned in my seat to look at her and she smiled.

"I like that you are going down there next week. They surprisingly like you"

"I'm good with kids Brianna." I glared at her and I knew she felt it even as she focused on the road.

" You are good with our nieces not with the boys that's what I meant" She shrugged and I saw Renee's head pop between our seats.

"We can come with you if you want. She invited us as well gave me her number. She's nice"

"Yeah took some convincing, she wasn't my biggest fan"

"I don't blame her you're a lot to handle" Brie laughed.

"For someone who gets annoyed by Dean you sure are starting to sound like him" I briefly looked over at Brie.

"His right with certain things"

"I guess.."

I leaned back in my seat and watched the sunsetting.

I hoped Brock would not be returning soon as those few minutes were just too hard and he was so angry.

The Beast was there but tamed due to his kids otherwise he would have been coming after me.
