Flashback from 5 years ago...

Central club; Singapore
9pm, Saturday, march 12...

A chilly night it was, one of the most memorable night for the teenagers out to have fun. A big round moon shone at the night sky of Singapore, there were no stars though, yet it looked beautiful.

The wind keeps rotating around the club of Central, one of the most fancy club, with over 20 VIP lounge, and other regular seats. People cane here to enjoy, to forget and have fun. Just like now, the line was long enough to return back to where you came from, and the wind added zest to the idea.

Fancy cars filled the parking lot, people of different ages stood by the line,while some of them get in ignoring the line, some use the back door, just because they have someone they know, or they are regular customers, or they are rich enough to bribe the manager.

Well, these kids were from the former one; they ignored the line and move into the club shushing the shouting people waiting for their turn. They were from the latter; they were rich enough to know the manager.

Smells of sweat, beer and Cologne reach the nostrils of the senior teenagers as they got in. The  beautiful looking girl with blonde hair, and an arm draped over her shoulder make a face. She look around her, wondering if she could find a suitable place to seat with her friends.

The VIP was out of choice, Aki always hated that place. 'It was Seaking attention' she would say, even though she did love the attention she gets anytime at school, the club attention wasn't one of her jackpot list.

Soon, her eyes rest on a creamy couch, around the corner, with red strips. She smirk making her way towards it, leading the followers. One by one they sat at the couch, sprawled.

Kylie, who was seated next to Harry, across Ashton, avoiding his gaze, looks around the club. It was her third time, joining her newly found friends to a club, and all three were different.

Lara and Jue, though were first to  make gratuitous complains about dancing before they shooed to take the dance floor. 'Lara is a great dancer' Kylie thought, looking at her friend shaking the floor.

"Get your own drink Julian" Aki slapped her boyfriends hand away from her grappa, "I am not sharing you any"

"You don't need to share" Julian smirk, "what belongs to you is my belonging too"

"Was that supposed to be romantic?!" Harry ask, incredulously, between his laughter. "You need to embellish your sense of humor, dude"

Aki snorts at what her boyfriend stated, ignoring Harry's blabber. If what he spoke was said yesterday, or even a couple hours later, she would feel herself loved. Even though, she is having lots of emotions swirling around her heart, she felt betrayal the most.

"Are you alright Aki?! Kylie ask, watching her friend with her starry eyes.

Aki, looks at her friend. The friend who has never judged her, whatever she did. Kylie wasn't just a friend, she was a friend of Aki's, a friend Aki always wished for. 

She, indeed, have lots of friends but this one was more understanding, more loving and a person to trust more than just anyone. Aki was sure Kylie would never put her in a mired situation, that's why she love her the most, and that's why she wishes her to be with her twin brother.

Aki snort inwardly, it was a goof to even think like that, she saw what happened a couple hours ago, at the garden of her own house, she saw what her boyfriend and the oh so called best friend did.

She smiled, thinking about what she would say to the question hanging unanswered.

"Yeah" Aki show her cromulent happiness "am great"

Aki did notice the look of suspicious over Kylie's face, but she ignored it. Aki, always observed Kylie the most, she was always a mystique, mysterious or secretive that makes sb/stg seem interesting, attractive.

Indeed, Kylie was a mystique.

But what makes her more attractive, as for Aki, was her ability to identify the lies and fake smile Ali gave, while no other person notices, even not her brother.

True eyes know what's true...

"Who wanna dance?" Aki stood, getting enough of Kylie's occasional looks, she wanted to avoid it.

Her friends, seems were able to hear her through the hub-bub of the club, as Harry answered with a disgusted face.

"I would rather throw myself at one of those girls" he point his finger, look behind his group of friends.

All head turned to the VIP's, where beautiful girls, Wih fancy dresses sat laughing, it was obvious they were indeed seeking attention.

"I'll gladly, take the honer of defenestrating you from up there" Kylie pointed at the window, on the upper round roof if the club.

Aki laughed, accompanied by her brother and his friend, Evans. As for Julian, he was already staring at the smiling form of Kylie, no one noticed though. Evans took the hand of Aki to the dancing floor, he needed it to. As his always crush was one of the girls seated at the VIP from before.

As they went, Harry took a stand to make his way to where he said he would, a little while ago. And he did, after taking his shot of whiskey in hand, leaving Ashton, Kylie and Julian in the seat.

"Gopher" Ashton nods to Julian, smirking when he turned "Why are you still here?!"

"I don't think leaving you alone would be any good" Julian also return the smirk. "We don't want the couches messy, do we now?!"

"I'll go find Lara and Jue" Kylie stood, things were getting awkward.

Ashton, didn't realise what was happening, he didn't think Julian would ever cheat on his sister, with someone he started developing feeling for, specially not her. He said the things he said with a teasing manner, like he always does.

"They came here for a partying Ky," Ashton reply, looking at her and the club "let them have fun,"

"Then.." Kylie didn't know what to answer or say in order to get away from them, as soon as possible too, "then, I'll go take some air"

"I'll come with" Julian stood smirking. "To take fresh air"

"No way, you are not going anywhere with me, anytime soon" she pointed at Julian whose smirk was zoomed to frown, "I will go out.." She then pointed to the door of the club "and you.." Now her finger wondering in front of the two boys "are not following me, you get it?"

She didn't wait for her answer as she took her leave, but not before noticing Aki watching her intently. Their eyes made contact, and Aki threw Kylie a smile of appreciation. Not that Kylie returned it though.

Kylie always wished Julian, he was good looking, polite, has good sense of humour, even had good dressing style. Aki was sure lucky, she would think.

But, now that Julian noticed her as a girl, and even kissed her before coming to this party, she didn't like it. She instead despised it. Kylie knew she was what she didn't want to be.

She liked her best friends boyfriend, she even kissed him back. She was betraying her best friend who was always there for her, makes her happy and made her feel lucky for once, in her life time.

She felt guilty, but she felt weird too. She didn't like it when Julian kissed her, it didn't feel any good compared to Ashton kiss yesterday. Thinking about Ashton, she had been avoiding him from the moment the kiss happened.

Her thoughts was confusing and the vodka she had a while ago didn't help with the thumping of her head. Her dark blue heals clicked as she moved to the bench at the corner of the garden, on the cement.

Weirdly enough, the club had a garden. Very few people sat at benches ordered in between the trees. The air was fresh and the cold was bearable too, the flowers were embellished beautifully.

Lotuses, roses, lilies, tulips, carnations, chrysanthemums, sunflowers, poppies and different flowers were designed beautifully. It attracts attention.

"What's going on with Julian and you?!"

Kylie turn just in time to look at the guy she has been avoiding the whole day. The shock was visible in the way she stood with her wide eyes and panicking self.

Dressing her emotionless face, she reply.
