"If that deal didn't go right, we will lose 1.5 Million" I pace around the office, looking at the floor as I blabber and find a solution, "So, we need to make another deal, that would come out perfectly, with a profit of 2 Million, just I'm case we lose the Ambrose company"

"You know they want us as much as we want them" Amelia say from her seating position, "they will lose much more than us if they cut the deal, and I don't think they have the gut to lose any"

"True that" Hayden spoke "Besides it's still a growing company, we have a lot of other deals that could fill there place"

"We still need the deal" I took a seat "The company might be still a growing one but they are making a fast growing, and their products have quality. We do not have any guarantee that the company wouldn't be at the top of us any moment"

"I don't think one have the ability to win over you Ky," Hayden smirk "I sure can guarantee you that"

"That's why we need to make another deal, just in case" I smile at Hayden "Ami, could you find me another company. Profitable and a little vulnerable, we will make a secrete deal. The Ambrose should know nothing, they would cancel the deal we have."

"I was about to tell you, there is a company, not vulnerable though, that wants to make a deal with you." I narrow my eyes at Amelia's word,nodding for her to continue "An old company it is, we have an information a out the CEO being young and handsome.." She giggle avoiding Hayden's look "..he went to the same school as you too, I think you hardly recognise him though, he was antisocial and nerd. He makes every deal secrete and his company has been fast growing than any in Singapore, even More than Mathews company"

"Study more about that guy, he has some missing point that I can't connect with, and he seems a little fishy."

"True" Hayden agree with me.

After a little bit talk about the deal we were about to make the door of the office banged open and I scowl at the person standing on the door, Julia running behind him with an apologetic look.

"Sorry Ms, Rob" Julia spoke looking at me, as I look at the smirking bastard in front of my office, "He didn't listen to me, I tried telling him that you we-"

"It's OK, Julia" I cut her, "you can go"

Hayden stood, crossing his arms standing beside me, acting defensive as he was. While on the other hand Amelia stood beside the chair she was seated at, giving a chance to the man on stand to seat.

He move, slowly making my heartbeat increase, take a look at my assistants and stare at me blankly.

"I think you need to let your guards down for a little bit" Ashton say smirking at me and pointing at them both.

"What do you want Ashton?" I say fighting my emotions.

I was happy to see him, it has been a week but I couldn't just let the walls I kept rebuilding everyday crumble just by seeing him. I didn't want him yo this k I owe him or anything as that. I sure did something in the history of our past, but still, I would do it gazillion times if it repeats itself.

"You" he state, his face suddenly serious and his gaze at me. His smirk swiped off as he again look between Hayden and Amelia. "I need to talk to you.." He see my crocked brow as he continue adding  "alone"

"You can talk," I state "With them here" I add, "I don't think there is something personal you would want to talk with me"

"Really Ky" I always hated and loved that nickname when it rolls off his mouth swiftly, I shuddered "Is there really nothing personal to talk about?!"

"We'll take a leave" Amelia say nudging Hayden on the rib, making him glare at her. "We will ne outside if you need anything"

"I didn't say you could leave Amelia" I also glare at her, ignoring her smug face she gave me, as if encountering 'when have you ever done that?'

She start packing the papers and getting hold of her bag as she pushed Hayden out of the door, him being dragged. I shot her a death glare, while she gave me a convincing smile.

"Then" Hayden give a bow, right when his soon to be girlfriend did.

Within a minute, they were both out of the office, arguing with each other, both ignoring my pleading look. The room went silent, tension grew further, stares were included too.

"What do you want Ashton?" I repeat "What is there to talk about"

"You" he repeat "us" he add.

My heartbeat increased and am sure with the silence roaming in the room he could clearly hear the thumps my heart is making. I see him come closer, causing me to flinch and stand. I didn't want to ne weak, but he never gave me a choice.

A struck of lighten hit me when he stood just a step ahead. I keep my face neutral, my windows shut as I move towards my leather seat, behind the desk, I didn't get to reach there though, I was pulled by my elbow right away, stuck by the glass window, right at the side of my seat.

"Stop running already" he intone, "I have had enough of it"

"Let me, Ashton" I wiggle in his firm grip "This is an office, you talk about work or you leave"

"Aren't you a work?" He brushed his finger on my bare arm, making goosebumps rise upon them.

"Ashton, let m-"

"I did let you go Kylie Rob.." he yell interrupting me and making me flinch from his words.

He let go of my arms, just to hold my cheeks. Looking through my eyes, as if trying to read me. He brush my checks with his soft and warm hands, and for a second I was about to lean to his touches that I more than missed.

"Twice" he continue with a whisper, afraid it would break him.

"Do it again, then" I say trying to keep my voice straight and calm. "Let me go again, it's not that hard, is it?!"

Woah, I don't really know how it came out like this, I was thinking of something else to write as I start writing but then out of nowhere, words start popping in the screen as I tap then here we are. I hope you enjoyed it.
