Chapter 28

The moment my leg stepped inside the building of Kylie's company, I felt a little nervous. I wasn't here to meet her, so why would I be nervous?!

The cold air was no more bothering me, but either was it warm. Fixing my ties I move from the gate, where I was standing to my destination. As I walk people turn to me, confusion swirling around, they saw ne come here a little often, I an waiting for rumors sooner than expected.

The conflicted looking secretary at the ground booth see around me, wondering who I needed. I walk to her, smirking.

"Welcome to HRS, how may I help you" she smile at me, pushing her boobs from me to see.

"Where can I get Manager Alex?"

"He's out for break now," she continue to smile, me resisting an eye roll "why don't you take a seat until he come?"

"Ashton" I was suddenly called, it was a women's voice.

Slowly turning my head to the voice, I saw a delighted face, a little frown nixing it. I remember her from before, I saw her behind Kylie the last time I was here, or is it not her?!

Seeing my confusion, her voice begun again.

"I am Amelia, Kylie's PA"

I look at the way she wore, a black jeans, black heels, and a white top. Then I look at her face, she looked hesitating to talk to me,

"Oh," I smile at her "I am jot here to meet her"

The face she had was weird, then it turned to anger, as she stroll faster and faster to me, then when we were standing just a little feet apart she spoke with her voice a little loud and anger lacing them.

"Look, I don't really know who you are, but if that girlfriend of yours in there.." She point her finger towards a hallway "...inflict any kind of breakdown to Ky, then I promise you, I myself am killing her with bare hands"

"What are you talking about, Amelia" I say, trying to rephrase what she said. "What girlfriend?!"

"It's nothing, Amelia is just mad abd she don't know what she's talking about" a man cane behind her, his hands in his pocket, glowering at her as she narrow her eyes at him.

"Mad Hayden?! Really," she turn to him with crossed arms.

She said girlfriend, breakdown and Kylie. Are they talking about Aki,

"You just can't intrude her businesses, she can take care of herself" he say, likely low, attempting to keep it b/n them.

"You saw what that girl said, Kylie could face a breakdown anytime"

"She doesn't have that ability, She was scared and you saw it, ju-"

Adina... Dammwit

I looked at the hallway she pointed at before, before  running towards it. Hayden running after me, attempting to stop me, the people at the grand entrance looking at us, confused.

I banged the first door open, seeing that there was no one I ran to the next, to find it the same.

"Mr. Mathews stop" I heared Hayden's voice.

This must be it.

And yes, it was. As I open the door I see a tear beaming shocked face of Adina first, then a scowl of Kylie's.

Kylie then stood, her face changing from second to another, before she say "What are you doing here Ashton?!"

Adina then stood, her eyes fixed on me, analyzing something in her head. I stare at Kylie then Adina, repeating myself again and again.

"What are you doing here Adina?" I ask her.

Kylie crossed her arms watching Adina, just like I do. Adina, hesitates to answer before pointing at Kylie, tears falling from her eyes one by one.

I Ingres myself, shocked as to what is happening. Kylie stares at Adina, waiting for her to say something, as she waits for a certain word to form in Adina.

"S-she called me," Adina say, sobbing "to threaten me, she said to go away from you, and never see you again. She threaten me Ashton.."

I see Kylie smirk, so proud of herself, amused. Then she nod her head twice, her face thinking.

"At least my words weren't sterile" she say "but, you chose the wrong person to battle with"

She then see me, her smirk pulled off and nodding at me before speaking

"I have an urgent meeting now, you stay here with your girlfriend" the look she had on her face was sly looking, a smirk falling upon those lips.

"I was afraid" Adina run to me as Kylie went out, hugging me "thank you for coming, I now know why everyone fears her"

"Exactly," I remove her hands "that's why everyone fears her, what did she say to you?!"

"She said she would cut my legs, and that she will haunt me if I came near you again, she was saying that she would find me and and.." Her hands tremble, as her eyes were wide, tears falling from them.

"Stop lying Adina," I see at her shocked wide eyes "stop hurting yourself" I yell

"You stop hurting me" she continue, wiping her tears "you love me Ashton, me only, open your eyes"

The touch on my cheeks by her hand, was cold. I remove it right away before messing my hair with my hands, looking at her.

"I do not love you Adina," I tried to say it slowly, afraid of hurting  her, but telling her was also must. "I never did"

"You're lying, stop lying" she cries "I know you love me, I'll make you see it. I just need Kylie out of my way"

"What are you saying?" I say, shocked

"You are mine Ashton, you love me and I love you, we are meant to be" her voice was stern and Jo tear was falling "I'll proof it for you"

With that she left me standing, shocked. Thinking about what she said and how she acted, making me think what wicked things Kylie must have told her.

Psycho turpitude

Shaking my head and sighing, I made my way to the garage to go home, and before I could a thought come to me, making me turn my ways to the elevator.
