10- Alone
Liana's parents were going out to mow the lawn. They offered for her to come out, but she declined to stay inside and read.
She sat down on the couch to read her book, going to the chapter she left off on.
The sound of the lawnmower outside startled her a little bit, but she then continued to read after acknowledging what the noise was.
The bag of chips on top of the fridge fell off of it for no apparent reason, causing Liana to look up from her book at the bag of potato chips that lay on the floor. She gets up to go put them back, and after doing so goes back to her book.
He shouts at her in anger, pointing at the blue diary in his hand- her diary. "How could you?"
"It's not what it looks like, Blake! Please! I had to," She says to him, tears in her eyes.
"No, Carlee, it is what it looks like-
Tap! Tap!
"What the..." Liana says, looking up from her book.
She gets up to go see what the noise coming from the hallway was, before seeing that it was just her cat walking down the hall.
She sighs, going back to the couch.
Suddenly, in the kitchen, a door is heard being open. Assuming it's just one of her parents, she continues to read her book.
A couple minutes later, no signs of a person walking or shutting the door are heard.
Confused, she gets up from her seat to go see what happened. The door in the kitchen is open, the cold wind coming in through it.
"What the heck...?"
She walks over to the door to shut it, but before she can close it, a hand from the outside grabs her head, shoving it up against the wall outside.
The other hand on the person takes the door, hitting it against her neck several times before she is killed, a line of blood showing where the door was hit on her.
The person takes her lifeless body out to the front yard where both her parents are, and before they can notice the man carrying her, she is thrown in front of the lawnmower that her dad is driving.
Just as he notices his daughter laying on the ground in front of him, it is too late and he runs over her.
