When Jay and Nya got back, Kai had already returned and was talking about the list they had found. Zane had written out the list and they were all discussing the same name and kept pointing at it. When they saw Nya and Jay come in they stopped for a bit.

Zane went to get a takeaway and the others split up to talk among themselves. Cole walked over to Jay and Nya. "Hello" said Jay "what were you just talking about?" Cole sighed. "The list you brought back has one very interesting feature" he said "The elemental master of wood." He showed them the list.

 " We have to get them out! " said Nya "I didn't notice earlier because I was paying attention to the master of water!" Cole nodded. "we do have to save him. But we can't decide who can go" Nya looked round "why can't everyone go?" Cole shook his head "if all of us are found, there will be no more elemental masters left."

 Jay spoke up "everyone except us three should go" he said "Nya doesn't have a power, and Cole is injured and someone should protect you" Nya and Cole protested "I can look after myself!" Shouted Nya "I'm not injured" said Cole.

Zane came back with some noodles. "Who would sell food to an elemental?" Asked Nya. "The noodle shop down Chen avenue" said Morro "the owner used to be an elemental" Cole frowned. "How can you stop being an elemental?" "The elemental destroyers created a machine a while ago that removed elemental power." Said Jay "many elementals wanted to lose their power, so they could be normal, including me. Only a few used the machine before rumours began to spread among the formlings that the destroyers were taking over the elementals to get them to attack the formlings. The formlings destroyed the machine, and the destroyers thought it was elementals"

 "Back to the meeting" said Lloyd "who will free the master of wood" Everyone thought different things. "We'll have a vote" said Lloyd "everyone write who you don't want to go" when everyone finished writing the results came in. "The people going are: Morro, Lloyd, Cole, Jay and Zane" " That's everyone except me and Kai" said Nya.

 "We leave in the morning" said Lloyd. "But I want to come!" Said Nya. "I will come whether you like it or not!"  "I'll deal with this" said Jay. He took Nya into a different room. "Nya, they said  you can't come" Nya looked at Jay with eyes full of hate. "I will come" she said stubbornly. "Kai isn't coming, and I don't see him acting like a stroppy toddler" said Jay.

 "I'm not acting like a toddler" said Nya.  "Nya" said Jay "please don't protest. The consequences may be severe" "I don't see anything bad happening if I don't go" said Nya. "Can I point out that the others will never let you go. If you don't give in they will chain you to the wall" Nya scoffed "yeah right" Jay grinned at her. " if you want to go the best way is to pretend you aren't going "

 "What?" Asked Nya "pretend you won't go" said Jay "and I'll leave the door open so you and Kai can slip out" "Kai?" Asked Nya "I thought he was fine with not going?" Jay walked away.
