Nya looked round the building. It seemed very small and lacked certain things that a secret base needed. There was a dusty office, a broken factory conveyerbelt and A room full of fighting equipment. Jay saw her looking and came over. "Is this it?" Asked Nya "I expected more" 

Morro saw them discussing it and came over. "It's bigger than Chen alleyway" he said "can I talk in private with Nya?" Nya nodded and they walked over to a conveyerbelt. Morro pushed one of the buttons. Immediately the conveyorbelt lifted up and revealed a secret room.

 "That is why it looks so small" said Morro leading her into a room that resembled a prison cell. "I don't trust you" said Morro. "why should I? You don't have a power. The destroyers may have told you to befriend Cole, then follow him to this base."

 "I have been friends with Cole long before we had a run in with the destroyers" said Nya "I am not here to betray you" Morro studied her. "Then you won't mind if I do a search of you?" He asked. "No" said Nya "feel free to search me" Morro took out a long, thin dagger from his pocket. "Its a metal detector" he said "disguised as a dagger"  "why would you ever want to disguise something as a dagger?" Said Nya "surely it's worse to have a dagger than a metal detector"

 "In the city, everyone has a right to a dagger" said Morro "they claim people are less likely to attack you if they know that you have a dagger as well"  "what does that have to do with the metal detector?" Asked Nya. "The real reason they hand out daggers is to get the criminals." Said Morro "criminals aren't allowed daggers. That's why I disguised the metal detector. So people don't attack me."

 "that's stupid" said Nya "of course people are more likely to attack each other if they all have daggers" Morro nodded. "Effectively they forced everyone to have a dagger." The metal detector beeped. "it says there's some metal on your back. Can I have a look?" Nya took off her hoodie. There was nothing there. 

The conveyerbelt opened and Cole walked in. "What are you doing?" He asked. Then he saw the metal detector. He jumped at Morro and Knocked the metal detector out of his hand before pinning him to the ground and punching him hard in the face.

 "Stop!" Shouted Nya "he was just using a metal detector!"  "it's a dagger!" Cole shouted at Morro "why were you trying to stab Nya!" He gave Morro another punch, hitting his head against the floor and drawing blood.
