Welcome To Wakanda (Black Panther-Part 3)

[No One's POV]

After the car chase, Klau was taken into custody and is seen strapped to a chair which stood in the middle of an interrogation room.

"I can see you," he says as he looks at the window, really only seeing himself since the window is only one way. "I can! I can see you! Hahaha!"

He then starts making kissing noises at the window and James is seen next to T'Challa, Ross, and Okoye with James looking at Klau in disgust.

"Does this man even have a single brain cell?" he asks, causing T'Challa to chuckle.

"So... this is a big mess, huh?" Ross asks. "I figured we could go good cop bad cop, I'll do him first and then you guys can-"

Okoye and T'Challa start to speak to each other in Wakandan and neither James or Ross can understand them. Yes, James know many languages but Wakandan is not one of them. He's still learning.

They then revert back to English.

"After your questioning, we will take him back to Wakanda with us," T'Challa tells Ross.

"What?" the CIA agent questions. "No. Look, I like you a lot but he's in my custody now. He's not going anywhere. Listen, I'm doing you guys a favor by letting you even be in here."

Ross then lightly slaps T'Challa's shoulder and Okoye looks at her king's shoulder. She then speaks in Wakandan again, but James didn't need to know the language to know that what she said was a threat. Ross, on the other hand, did not.

"Does she speak English?" he asks James and T'Challa.

"When she wants to," Okoye tells Ross and the Ghost Rider laugh.

"Huh," Ross says. "I'm going in. And when I'm done, you guys are up."

"I don't think you want me in there with him!" James tell Ross. "I may "accidently" burn him!"

Ross turns to the new adult in slight shock and horror.

"Yeeeeaaah, I'm not letting you in there," Ross tells the bounty hunter.

T'Challa then goes to mess with Ross.

"Agent Ross," he says, getting the agent's attention.

"Yeah."

"I do appreciate your help, Muusan," T'Challa tells the man, placing his hand on the CIA agent's shoulder.

"You see that?" Ross asks Okoye. "It's called diplomacy. Your welcome."

Ross then walks away and goes into the interrogation room, opening the door for the others to hear Klau terribly singing "What is Love?". Ross enters the room and closes the door.

[James' POV]

After Ross goes into the interrogation room I look at T'Challa.

"What?" he questions.

"Cut the bull," I tell him. "You ain't slick. I know you put some sorta listening device on him."

"You know me too well, James," T'Challa tells me and looks to Okoye. "And please, play nice."

"*scoff* Americans," Okoye says and I look at her.

"I'm right here you know," I tell her.

Okoye rolls her eyes and looks back to the window and T'Challa hands me a listening device.

"Here," he says. "I think you would like to listen in as well."

"Thanks," I tell T'Challa and take the earpiece.

I place it near my ear and I can hear everything Ross and Klau are saying, starting with Klau's terrible singing.

As Ross waits for Klau to finish, he looks at his watch impatiently and Klau finally speaks.

"You know you should really shouldn't trust the Wakandans," he tells Ross. "I'm MUCH more your speed."

"I don't trust anybody in this job," Ross tells the criminal. "But what I am interested in is that arm cannon out there. Where'd you get that?"

"Oh! It's a mining tool that I made some adjustments to and I can, uh, I can get you one if you like?" Klau tells Ross.

"Why don't you give me the name of your supplier and I'll ask them?" the CIA agent asks Klau.

"They're right outside," the one-armed man tells Ross. "Why don't you ask him yourself?"

"Who? James?" Ross questions.

"Pfft! No!" Klau says. "Try again."

"T'Challa?" Ross asks again.

"Bingo!" Klau exclaims and laughs.

"You're telling me that weapon on your arm is from Wakanda?"

"Exactly," the criminal tells the CIA agent with an eye wink and a finger gun.

Ross doesn't seem to believe Klau and I understand why. If all you heard about Wakanda was that it was a third-world country, then you wouldn't believe it either. Good thing I have Zarathos to help me.

"Damn right you are!"

"Shut it," I whisper to the Spirit and pay attention back to the interrogation.

"Do you actually KNOW about Wakanda?" Klau asks Ross.

"Uuuum... shepards, lovely little outfits."

"It's all a front," Klau tells Ross. "Mankind has searched for it for centuries. El Derado, the Golden City. They thought they'd find it in South America, but it was in AFRICA the whole time. A technological marvel all because it was built on a mound of the most valuable metal known to man. Eseebur, the called it. The gift. Vibranium."

"Vibranium, yeah," Ross says, still not believing Klau's story. "Strongest metal on Earth."

"It's not just metal," Klau states. "They sow it into their clothes, it powers their city, their tech. Their weapons."

"Weapons?"

"Ha! Makes my little arm cannon look like a leaf blower," Klau states and looks over to the window. "And your flaming friend even makes it look like a small toothpick with all the power he's got.

"That's a nice fairy tale, but Wakanda is a third-world country and you STOLE all their vibranium," Ross tells Klau.

"Haha! I stole--hahaha!" Klau says, laughing but then becomes serious. "All of it?! I took a tiny PIECE of it. They have a mountain full of it and they've been mining it for thousands of years and they still haven't scratched the surface. I'm the only outsider that's seen it and got out alive. Believe me. You ask your friend what his SUIT is made of. What his CLAWS are made of."

T'Challa and Okoye start to walk away from the window as Klau speaks but I stay at the window. I then see Ross leave the room and go to talk to T'Challa and Okoye. I continue to watch Klau in case he has a trick up his sleeve. Then I feel as if something is about to happen. I go into the room and walk up to Klau, but then the wall implodes and I get sent flying back as debris falls inward. I get trapped under a large piece of concrete but easily get it off. I turn into the Rider and head outside only to see T'Challa to get blown back by an explosion. He falls to the ground and I go to help him.

"You okay?" I ask him but he doesn't respond. "T'Challa! Are you okay?!"

"I-I'm fine," he says as he gets back to his feet, looking at where the van that took Klau.

Okoye then rushes out of the hole made by Klau's rescuers and goes to T'Challa, speaking Wakandan. They then run back inside while I stay outside, slowly turing back into my human form.

-A Few Hours Later... Afternoon-
-Location: Somewhere Over Africa-

After the whole incident in Wakanda, me, T'Challa, Okoye, Nakia, and the unconscious Ross go to T'Challa's Wakandan airship and to be honest, it's amazing.

"Nice ride," I tell the Black Panther. "Where are we heading exactly?"

"Wakanda," T'Challa tells me.

I nod and walk up to the pilot's area to see us heading to a mountain.

"So your plan... is to go through a mountain?" I ask Nakia since she was piloting the ship.

"What? Afraid of dying?" she asks me.

"HAHAHAHAHA! That's a good one! Haaaaaaaah... tell her we can't die."

"Wait what?" I ask Zarathos.

"Tell her we can't die. Simple as that."

I nod and look to Nakia.

"It's gonna take more than crashing into a mountain to kill me," I declare and Nakia smiles.

Soon we near the mountain... and then pass right through it to reveal a city of pure wonder.

"So THIS is Wakanda," I say in amazement. "Cool."

We soon land on land and leave the airship. We walk off and meet up with a younge Wakandan girl.

"Great, another broken white boy for me to fix," the girl jokes as she looks at Ross before looking at me. "Hello. You must be James. Nice to finally meet you in person."

"Man. Here I thought Stark made sure no one would know my identity," I say and smile. "Yes, I'm James. You're Shuri, I assume?"

"I am," Shuri says. "C'mon. Follow me."

We follow her with Ross on some sort of stretcher and Shuri leads us to a lab of sorts. Ross is then placed on a bed and Shuri starts to work on him, trying to heal him. As she does this I walk over to the glass and see an entire mining operation, trains moving extremely fast and machines mining at vibranium.

"This... this is amazing," I state as T'Challa walks up to me.

"Indeed it is, James," he says. "Welcome to Wakanda."
