Part 4
You, Kaminari, Shinso, Todoroki and Midoriya were sitting outside on the patio of the cabin. Todoroki handed you your tea.
"Here [Y/N], your tea." Todoroki said. You smiled and carefully took the cup and saucer.
"Thank you, Shoto." You said. Todoroki smiled slightly and nodded.
"No problem. Oh, and please, be careful when you drink your tea. It's very hot." Todoroki said. You smiled and nodded.
"Thank you. And that shouldn't be a problem for me." You looked down at the cup and saucer. You lifted your right hand and started spinning your hand in a circle above the cup. A mini tornado formed above the cup, blowing away the steam from the tea, making it cool down. You stopped your motions and too your cup by the handle, raising it to your lips. You smiled and sighed as the liquid ran down your throat. You sighed and sat the cup down on the saucer. Kaminari took a sip of his tea and set it down as well. He hummed.
"Hmm. I wish Yaomomo was here. The way she makes tea is bussing!" Kaminari said. Todoroki looked at Kaminari then down at his own tea.
"Hmm. Yeah. Her tea is pretty, bussing." Todoroki said, having no idea what the word was the Kaminari had used. Shinso sighed and shook his head.
"You two are total idiots sometimes." He said. You and Midoriya chuckled at the three. He sighed.
"It's pretty warm out today," he said, looking up at the sun. "Too bad we sort of missed half of the day." He said, looking down at his tea. You sighed and nodded.
"Yeah. Let's just enjoy the rest of the sunlight while we still can." You said, looking at everyone and smiling. Shinso looked at you and smiled, nodding.
"Yeah. I like that plan, [Y/N]." He said. He turned away and sipped his tea. He looked down at his lap and sighed. He looked at everyone again. "Hey, so, after that bang last night, did you guys hear anything else or see anything weird?" He asked. You shook your head.
"I woke up multiple times due to nightmares, but I never heard anything or saw anything after that." You said. Midoriya nodded.
"Same here. After that loud noise, everything seemed pretty normal. Just the usual creaks of an old cabin." He said. Kaminari hummed.
"Weird," he looked at Todoroki. "Hey Roki," He said. You stifled a snicker at Kaminari's nickname for Todoroki. He looked at Kaminari.
"Hmm?"
"Any weird sounds come from the hatch in your room last night?" He asked. Todoroki shook his head.
"Uh-uh. Not that I heard. Everything was quiet." He said. Shinso hummed.
"Well, that's good, I guess." He said. You hummed and nodded.
"Yeah. The only thing that kind of worries me were the nightmares I had last night." You said. Midoriya looked at you.
"You had nightmares to?" He asked. You looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah. We were all running through the forest at night and it was really foggy. There was something that was chasing us. It sounded like a deer call, but wrong." You said, narrowing your eyes, trying to find the best way to describe it. Midoriya's eyes widened.
"No way. I had the same dream!" He said. You looked at him in shock.
"What?" You asked. Kaminari hummed.
"Huh. Come to think of it, I think I remember having a nightmare similar to that." He said. You looked at Todoroki and Shinso.
"How about you two, Shoto, Hitoshi. Did you two have any nightmares?" You asked. Shinso nodded.
"Yeah. I had almost the exact same one." He said. Todoroki nodded.
"Me to." He said. Your eyes widened.
"Wow. That's really weird." You said. You unconsciously shivered at the thought. Midoriya looked at you.
"Don't think too much about it, okay? It was probably just a weird coincidence that we all had the same nightmare." He said. You sighed and nodded.
"Yeah. I guess so." You said. Midoriya hummed.
"Hmm. We're probably just overthinking things. So let's try and have a good trip." He said, smiling lightly. You smiled at him.
"Yeah. Let's not worry about whatever happened last night. Let's just think about how much fun we're going to have at the campfire tonight!" You said. The others nodded. Footsteps behind you all made you turn your head. Kirishima and Bakugou were standing in he door way of the patio.
"We're going to go gather some firewood for tonight," Bakugou said. He looked down at you. "You're coming with us." He said. You blinked slightly in confusion.
"Huh? You want me to come with?" You asked. Bakugou scoffed.
"Tch, yeah you! Come on." Bakugou said, nodding his head in the direction of the doorway. Kirishima smiled at you slightly.
"Sorry to interrupt your tea, but, Bakugou wanted you to come with us. So, will you?" Kirishima asked. You thought for a moment then smiled and looked at the two.
"Of course I'll come," you said. You stood up, carrying your tea. "I could use a chance to stretch my legs." You said. Shinso looked at you.
"I can take care of your tea." He said. You looked at him in slight shock.
"Huh? You sure?" You asked. Shinso smiled slightly and nodded.
"Yeah. I'm sure. Go and collect the firewood." He said. You smiled and nodded, setting your tea and saucer in the chair you had been sitting in. You walked over and stood next to Bakugou, facing the group. Kirishima smiled at them.
"We won't be gone long. We just gotta find some dry wood for the fire." He said. Kaminari smiled and nodded.
"Alright. Be careful you guys. Don't get lost." He said. You smiled and nodded.
"We won't." You said. Midoriya smiled.
"Take care of each other, guys. We'll just tidy up here so it's a little less dusty." Midoriya said. Kirishima nodded.
"Sounds good." Kirishima said. Todoroki looked at you three.
"Be careful." He said. Shinso looked at you.
"Stick close to them, [Y/N]. Don't wonder off on your own. I know how you can get sometimes." He said, smirking lightly. You chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of your head. Kirishima chuckled and looked at Shinso.
"Don't worry. We'll make sure they stay close to us." He said. Bakugou, who had already headed back inside, glared back at you and Kirishima.
"Hurry up you two. You're both slow as hell." He grumbled. You chuckled.
"We're coming!" You said, walking over towards Bakugou. Kirishima followed after. Little did you three know what you would encounter in the dark woods.
~~~
The three of you made your way through the woods, pushing back branches and bushes that attempted to block your way. Bakugou looked around at the wood.
"I've never seen such dense woods before. It's almost unnatural." He said. You hummed and nodded, pushing away some of the branches.
"Yeah." You said. Kirishima looked at the two of you.
"Let's just make sure we stay on this trail, okay." Kirishima said. You smiled and nodded.
"Sounds like a plan." You said. Kirishima chuckled. A few moments of silence passed before Kirishima broke it,
"So, um, that hatch." He said. You stiffened. After what had occurred last night and the nightmares you had afterwards, you didn't really like the mention of the hatch. Bakugou glanced at Kirishima.
"Hmm? What about it?" He asked. Bakugou then looked at you, noticing you had gone silent. He gave a soft chuckle. "The look on their face. Hey. Are you scared by just the mention of that dumb hatch?" Bakugou asked. You glared at him, but didn't say anything. Kirishima frowned.
"Yo, Bakugou, you don't need to bully them," he defended. You gave Kirishima a thankful look. Kirishima sighed and frowned slightly. "I mean, I'm kind of unnerved about it to, because, well," Kirishima hesitated. Bakugou glared at him.
"Just spit it out, Shitty Hair!" He shouted. You looked at Bakugou.
"What Eijiro is trying to say, is, the thump that came from the hatch, it sounded like,"
"Like something was trying to get out." Kirishima said. You nodded. Bakugou glared at the two of you.
"Hah?! The hell do you to mean?!" He asked. You sighed.
"I could be remembering it wrong, but it really sounded like something was trying to get out." You said. Bakugou hummed. He stepped forward.
"Ahhh!" Bakugou shouted. A group of crows flew out from the bush in front of him, startling him. You jumped as well. Once you saw Bakugou's shocked face, you tried your best to hold back your laughter. Kirishima didn't try as hard as he let his laughter out.
"Hahaha! Oh man, Bakugou! You should have seen your face!" Kirishima shouted, still laughing. Bakugou's cheeks flushed as he glared back at you two.
"Stop laughing! Both of you! I wasn't scared. I was just getting ready to fight." He said, turning away from you two. You chuckled.
"Sure you were. Getting ready to fight a bunch of birds." You teased. Bakugou growled and glared at you. You sighed and smiled. "To be honest those birds scared me to. If I had been in your shoes, I would have been prepared to fight, considering what happened last night." You said. Bakugou growled.
"Come on." He growled, continuing forward. Kirishima chuckled.
"Coming, coming." He said, smiling. He looked at you. "You okay? Those birds spooked you to, huh?" He asked. You chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah. I wasn't expecting that." You said. Kirishima chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah. I can still feel my heart racing." He said. He looked at you and smiled. "Don't worry. You have someone super strong and manly to protect you!" Kirishima said, smiling. You chuckled and smiled.
"My hero." You said, smiling.
The three of you found a good spot with lots of dry wood. After collecting a good amount, the three of you started to head back to the cabin. You were all talking about the nightmare you had last night, when Bakugou stopped, frowning. You almost bumped into him.
"Hold on." He said. You frowned in confusion.
"Huh?" You asked. Kirishima looked at Bakugou.
"What is it, man?" He asked. Bakugou looked around.
"It's, it's getting dark. Can't you see the sun's setting?" He asked. You looked around, more alert now. What Bakugou said was true. The sun was setting. You narrowed your eyes.
"Wait, you're right! This, this can't be right. The sun doesn't set this early, does it?" You asked, looking at Kirishima and Bakugou. Kirishima looked around the continuing darkening wood.
"How the hell? Wasn't it just five pm?" Kirishima asked. You nodded.
"There's no way the sun would set that early." You said. Bakugou looked at Kirishima.
"You got your phone on you? I left mine back at the shitty cabin." Bakugou said. Kirishima patted his pockets. He groaned.
"Ah shoot. I forgot mine to." Kirishima said. You patted your own pocket and felt your phone. You sighed in relief.
"I have mine." You said. Bakugou looked at you.
"Let me see it," Bakugou said. You took your phone out of your pocket and turned it on. His face paled slightly. "The hell? It's, it's 7 pm." He said in shock. Your eyes widened.
"What?! That, that can't be right! Here, let me see it," you said, holding out your hand for your phone. Bakugou gave you your phone. You looked at the time. Your eyes widened in shock. "T-There's no way." You said. Sure enough, the time read 7 pm. You showed the time to Kirishima. Kirishima looked at you two in shock.
"That's, that's impossible." Kirishima said. "We barley even walked down the trail!" Kirishima said. Bakugou looked at the two of you in confusion.
"How the hell were we gone for an hour an a half?" Bakugou asked. You sighed, putting your phone back in your pocket.
"M-maybe we just lost track of time." You said, trying to rationalize the situation. Kirishima nodded.
"Y-yeah. That's what happened." Kirishima said. Bakugou glanced at the two of you.
"You want to go back?" Bakugou asked. You let out a shaky sigh and nodded.
"Y-yeah." You said. Kirishima nodded.
"Let's go." He said. Bakugou nodded.
"Alright. Stay close, both of you." Bakugou said. You nodded.
"Right."
The three of you started back. You froze when a deer call split the silent air. But, this didn't sound like a normal deer call. It sounded, off, was the only way you could describe it. Bakugou glanced around.
"What, was that?" Bakugou asked. You started to shake in fear. That was the same sound you had heard in your nightmare!
"W-We should probably hurry back to the cabin." You said. Kirishima nodded.
"Yeah. Let's go." He said. He took your hand. The two of you started off but Bakugou wasn't following. The two of you turned to look at him. "Bakugou, you coming?" Kirishima asked. Bakugou shook his head slowly.
"It, it was just a deer or something. We, we don't need to freak out." Bakugou denied. The call came again, sending shivers up your spine. Kirishima looked at Bakugou, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Bro, that's not a deer. Now come on. Come with us." Kirishima insisted. Bakugou still refused to budge. You frowned. You were getting really scared.
"Bakugou,"
"It's a deer. Just relax. Stop making a big deal over such a harmless animal." Bakugou insisted. You squeezed your eyes shut.
We don't have time for this! You thought. You opened your eyes and looked at Bakugou, tears gathering.
"Katsuki! Please!" You shouted. Bakugou gasped lightly and turned around, looking at you. You tried to blink your tears of fear away, but they insisted on falling. "N-Now isn't the time to argue! I've heard deer calls before, and I'm sure you have, considering how often you go camping. This sound isn't anything like that! I-I'm scared, Katsuki, really, really scared. So please, stop trying to be brave and come with us!" You said. Bakugou sighed and turned his head away. The call was heard again, this time much closer. You gasped and looked around the forest in fear. Kirishima looked at Bakugou.
"Bakugou, we gotta go now!" Kirishima insisted. Bakugou nodded.
"Shit, fine. Let's go." The three of you took off running towards the cabin, the adrenaline and fear of whatever was after you spurring you on. As you were running, you weren't paying much attention to the ground and your foot got caught in a tree root. You grunted as you fell to the ground. Kirishima and Bakugou whirled around.
"[Y/N]!" Kirishima shouted. The both ran back towards you.
"Hold on. Grab my hand, come on!" Kirishima urged, holding out his hand. Without wasting a second, you grabbed Kirishima's hand. He pulled you up. "There we go," he said, still holding your hand. "Watch the roots, alright? Let's go." He said. Keeping a tight hold of your hand, the three of you kept running. Soon enough, your reached the edge of the woods near the cabin. You stopped and let go of Kirishima's hand, resting your hands on your thighs, trying to catch your breath. Midoriya looked over from where the ring for the camp fire was.
"Oh. You guys are finally back. We were getting worried about you." He said. Kaminari looked at you three.
"You guys were gone for like, an hour. The hell were you doing out there? Did you get lost?" Kaminari asked. Tears still fresh in your eyes from the fear, you looked up. A whimper left your lips as you raced towards the only person you felt safe with...
//Okay, so, the next parts are going to be you going to the person who comforts you. They will be separated into different chapters; Midoriya, Bakugou, Kirishima, Todoroki, Kaminari and Shinso. I'll also do the same thing for a couple other chapters, so yeah. Sorry if chapter 4 is short, again. Hehe.//
