29 Independent Anjali
Part 27 Independent Anjali
Alex called Aman. He attended the call right away.
"Hi, Dude... how are you doing?" he asked excitedly as Alex called him after a long time.
"Where are you?" Alex asked without giving an answer to what he asked.
"At home... getting ready for the editing"
"Stay for a while... I will be there in half an hour. I need to talk to you"
Aman sensed abnormally seriousness in his tone.
"Is everything alright?"
"Will talk in person" Alex disconnected the call.
Aman looked at his phone thoughtfully and waited for Alex.
In the meanwhile,
Shali Villas
Shyam was roaming here and there restlessly. There were a lot of thoughts running through his head.
"Don't know where Khushi went... Anjali filed a case with the police, or else, I would have gone to Delhi in the search of Khushi. How could she leave the home just like that? How could she deceive me?" he blabbered within as if she was his lover.
His attention went to the phone talks of Anjali.
"No, Mithra, I won't come online today."
"........."
"I have some other work..."
"....."
"Yeah, my husband is back in India... that's why I was unable to come online yesterday too..."
"......"
"I don't have any idea about today's MARKET"
"....."
"Yeah, I got a message. Without putting an effort, I gained PROFIT yesterday"
"........"
"Of course, SHARE MARKET is always like that... sometimes, it lifts us up without an effort and pulls us down when we put our best. I think I should not think of selling my SHARES for a few days..."
Shyam frowned. SHARE MARKET... PROFIT... SHARES... what was she talking about? He came to her. Anjali looked at him plainly, disconnecting the call.
"What was that, Rani Sahiba?"
"What?"
"You are talking like an Economist..."
Anjali smiled.
"Have you been investing in Share Market?"
She nodded yes.
"But, you said nothing about it..."
"I thought to surprise you... but when you are back, our state became a mess... I didn't get time to SHARE with you about my SHARES"
"What do you know about the share market? Do you know how risky it is?" Shyam sat in front of her.
"I too thought the same... it was Khushi who made me understand the importance of my OWN earnings. Don't know why she wanted me to stand for myself (Shyam gritted his teeth) she taught me the tricks of the share market, learning about them through the internet." Anjali said proudly.
"Didn't you feel to tell me about it?"
"Yeah, I wanted to... but Khushi said you won't allow me to do that. So, she told me to surprise you with my success"
"What success?"
"You won't believe... I have sixty lakhs in my DEMAT account"
Shyam was horrified. He sensed a kind of confidence in Anjali unlike before but he could not understand the reason. He was shaken when she herself got ready to go to the police station to file the complaint. He thought she was scared of not finding Khushi at home. But, the reason was something... it seemed
Seeing him silent,
"Khushi told me you will become speechless if you got to know my ability. Do you know how sincerely she prepared me to handle the market alone? I wanted to give her a share of the profit but she didn't accept it. Yet, I have been depositing a particular amount from my every profit to her account but she never used it. But, I'm sure she will use it now."
Shyam was more nervous and furious because Khushi had enough money to handle the situation. So, there was no chance for her to return back. He could not believe Khushi made up Anjali strong economically. He knew why she had done that. She wanted Anjali to be independent. That disappointed Shyam. He thought Anjali was not only emotionally but also economically dependent on him. But, Khushi broke it silently by making Anjali a share market skilled.
"Rani Sahiba, is it necessary? I'm here to give you what you want... Why didn't you just enjoy your life relaxingly? This share market is a very hectic one"
"I'm enjoying my life like ever before. Do you know how confident and happy I'm? I won't feel tense even though the market falls down and I face loss because I already earned a lot. So, the loss won't affect me. I'm not a person who always sits online and invests in shares again and again to get more profit. I just close the online after gaining an appreciable profit every day" Anjali said casually.
"But how could you expect profit every day?" Shyam asked.
"Khushi taught me a TRICK... there are two fields that can never fall down..."
"What fields?"
"Medicines and construction... the need for medicine will never lessen as same as the construction. People won't stop building houses no matter how the cost of materials touches the hike. And, medicine... we no need to even talk about it. The need for medicines is increasing day by day. So, its shares won't face loss. I'm following the strategy that Khushi taught me... that's why I never faced loss"
Shyam was stunned. How brilliantly Khushi played behind his back. She made her sister strong. So that, she could stand ALONE without his help. He could not believe Khushi could be so tricky. He wondered when Khushi eloped because he thought Khushi won't dare to leave helpless Anjali. This was what made her such a decision as Anjali didn't need anyone's help. And she used to live without Shyam and now, she was economically independent too.
On the other side,
Arnav headed to the recording theater with Khushi after Alex left RM. Arnav saw her practicing the tune with a mild hum.
"Khushi, you will get time to get ready..." Arnav smiled.
"No no, Arnavji. I'm not practicing... the tune is really awesome"
Arnav smiled, focusing on the road.
"You are a genius, Arnavji"
"I don't like FAKE praises..."
Khushi dropped her jaw. Arnav looked at her with a smile and then again at the road.
"FAKE praise?" She made a sad face.
Arnav looked at her and smiled.
"You know how much I liked your music even before I met you?" she pouted.
"You should have cursed me when I broke your cycle... right?"
"Curse? No way... I thought how could pleasant music is taking birth in a barren heart..."
Arnav chuckled.
"I was so confused when I compared your rude behavior with your music... they conflicted like hell...! I thought before meeting you that your tunes are the reflection of your inner mind..."
Arnav smiled.
"But I changed my idea after our first meet... I even doubted that you should have stolen the tunes from someone..." she laughed.
Arnav dropped his jaw and pressed the break. Khushi looked at him widening her eyes. Arnav's face softened... as he got to know something... Khushi had beautiful eyes... a soft smile appeared on his lips. He jerked, hearing the horn sound of the truck that was behind his car. He started the car and drove off. They reached the recording theater and Arnav stopped the car. He was about to get down, but he stopped listening to Khushi.
"When we became friends, I realized what I thought about you is not wrong... your tunes are indeed a reflection of your inner mind," Khushi said having a pretty smile on her face.
Arnav looked at her turning his head.
"You have a great heart...Arnavji" She said maintaining a smile.
Arnav got down from the car smilingly.
At the same time, NK also got down from his car and saw him smiling.
"What a pleasant sight, Nannav... your smile is a treat..." he said.
He saw Khushi getting off the car.
"Oh... I understood the reason for your smile..." he said looking at Khushi.
Arnav stood with Khushi without denying it. NK walked to Khushi, spreading his hands,
"Hello, Khushiiii...." He was supposed to hug her,
Khushi hid behind Arnav swiftly, understanding his intention. And Arnav pushed him without any second thought.
"She is not used to such a culture..." Arnav said, glaring at him. that alerted NK.
Khushi peeped from behind Arnav slowly.
"Of course, Nannav... I just wanted to teach her that she should hide behind you if anyone tried to hug her..." he smiled awkwardly.
Arnav rolled his eyes whereas Khushi bit her lip to control her laughter.
"Very best place to hide you know?" NK added.
"Let's go Khushi" Arnav walked, fencing her from NK.
They came inside the recording theater.
"Khushi, ask me if you have any doubts"
Khushi nodded ok. Arnav walked to his room. As Arnav already handed the notes to Khushi, she started practicing them, sitting in the composing hall. NK sat with Khushi and listened to the humming.
Arnav who came to his room got stuck, seeing a girl in his room.
"Hi, ASR..." she grinned.
"Who are you?" He frowned.
"Avanti Malhotra... daughter of Aashish Malhotra..."
Arnav gulped down.
"Avinash uncle wants me to meet you. He believes you will like me..."
Cutting her,
"Who is Avinash?" Arnav asked having no expression on his face.
"Are you joking? He is your father, ASR"
"I don't have a father..."
"Without father, how could you take birth?" she chuckled as if it was a big joke.
"According to me, he is dead..." Arnav said with a stern facial expression.
"Come on, ASR..."
"Out..." Arnav said.
"Listen to me ASR... without giving it a try, how could you decide whether it's good or not?"
"I said get out..."
Taking fast steps, Avanti reached Arnav in a blink of an eye and clutched his hand. That was enough for Arnav to drop his patience completely.
"Don't you have sense..." Shrugging his hand off, he pushed her away, shouting.
At the same time, Khushi entered his room to clear her doubt about the notes. She stood getting horrified, widening her eyes.
Arnav saw the shock on her face... he had seen that a few minutes ago too when he pressed the break but he found it different. What he saw on her face now was something unnamed.
To be continued...
