???: *BREATHE*

Nobara and Y/N hid in a bush, cuts on their bodies as they barely avoided the samurai's blades as he was much faster than before.

Nobara: Cursed energy ain't working and it's fucking fast. What's the plan?

Y/N: We burn the cursed armor at the fire in the middle of this rocky formation. Problem is....this samurai has an unpredictable path. It could turn or such any second and it's faster than before. Luckily the bushes and dark corners hide us.

She nods as they rush to the burning pit, throwing the armor and helmet in before jumping into the vegetation and bush as the samurai monster arrives.

*GRAB*

Nobara's face flushes red and she growls as she turns her head and Y/N let's go of her ass though it was hard to live without exposing themselves.

Nobara: *smirk* How is my ass?~

Y/N: *RED* I-I didn't mean t-to-

Nobara: Alright fine. If it's hard to stay still just hang on. You can have a touch~

*GRAB*

Nobara: *HISS* NOT LIKE THA-

The samurai circles back, the both of them silent as he then walks away.

Nobara:....*hmph* When we get out of this I am so gonna kill you.....

Y/N: That is if we make it out of here alive.

It seemed like minutes, hours even as they collected armor, and avoided the massive samurai as they held massive pieces of armor.

Y/N: Alright....3, 2, 1-

*THUD*

They threw the plates of armor into the fiery pit in the middle just as a sword was swung at Y/N and he prepares to block it with cursed energy-

Y/N:.....Wait....

Kusonoki: Grandchild.....we finally meet at last.

In front of them was a tall man, his skin pale, his face having teeth unlike any other as he held a katana by his side.

Y/N:....Grandfather.

Kusonoki: Thank you grandson....you freed me from the witch's curse. My name is Kusonoki Masashige, your great grandfather from a thousand years ago. I'm sure you have a lot of questions. So let's sit.

Nobara:....'Kay.

They all sat down on the grass, Kusonoki stabbing his blade into the ground as Y/N opens his mouth.

Y/N: I'm assuming you know of the witch Kintoru. The Beast of Control. Why is she targeting me specifically?

Kusonoki: The reason why is because of a deal I made with her centuries ago. She took my daughter and wife, and I sacrificed myself to free them both, but in the end I was tricked regardless. She turned us all into her servants and cursed our entire bloodline.

Nobara:....So why me then?

Kusonoki: You were caught in the crossfire. She wants people....servants....it was a coincidence you both came to the school.

Y/N: Grandfather.....are my parents-

Kusonoki: Your father managed to escape her grasp for now. So did your mother. But they will be found and cursed the more time that is wasted. Everyone will die, and everyone will live to see the ends of the years pass again and again. But you.....you are special. The cursed hasn't affected you, and you still have time. Come grandson.

He leads them through the forest before arriving at a stone shrine where a sword was presented on a wooden structure.

Kusonoki: Use my blessed blade and kill the witch once and for all. But heed my warning though.....don't be tempted to think hard. She will find a way to deceive you in the end just as she did to me.

A loud screech was heard as he hands Y/N the sword and its sheathe.

Kusonoki: You must hurry. She has already found I am freed, and she will come. I must go, but when the time comes, I will come to your aid in your fight. Go now....HURRY! Destroy her 3 hearts! And fight her-

*RUMBLE*

A cave entrance opens, and the two run into it as Kusonoki jumps up and sends boulders flying down to shield the entrance.

Y/N: So it's time......

Nobara: Y/N.....if we die..........

Y/N: I-

*KISS*

He was rendered catatonic as Nobara kisses him gently before pulling back.

Nobara: Hmph! I ain't dying without kissing someone!

Y/N: We won't die today.

Nobara:......I........you sure?

Y/N: Of course Nobara.

He held his blade, seeing all his ancestors lined on the webs as a gateway opens to another realm.

Y/N: I'll make sure of it- no.....WE'LL make sure of it.

Nobara:.....Fine then. *grin* LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
