Going into Frediano's room Emerald immediately sat on his bed she felt lol she was going to faint, she was never in this type of predicament being shot at for something she didn't even do, she's not a part of this. Putting her head in her hands she continued to think to herself. She did care for Frediano maybe even to the point of love but she did technically agree to being his girlfriend she agreed to his lifestyle. The violence, shootings, questions that may never be answered, she needed to be okay with that, she had to be.

"What are you doing here, go to my mother's house now." Frediano demanded

Wearing a white halter top with blue jeans and white flip flops  Adriana was worried, someone would shoot into their home and try to kill her child's father, the love of her life.

Still holding their son in her arms he was wearing blue overalls with white T-shirt under and black sneakers

"Oh my goodness Frediano is everything okay, are you?" reaching out her free arm to touch his chest.

Backing up a little Frediano said again "You need to leave I don't know if they're coming back."

"Who were they?" she asked

"What did I just say matter of fact, how did you even get here?"

"The taxi, I was hoping we all go to the park together and watch you push him on the swings."

For a moment in his mind it would have been nice to see his son smiling on the swings having fun but not now and not with her around.

Snapping out of it he said "I can't today Alessandro please take them to my mother's house and stay there, I need to go upstairs."

Heading towards the staircase Adriana still has their son in her arms asks "Wait what's upstairs?"

Turning around he says back "That's none of your concern."

"Who is she Frediano?"

Alessandro walking towards them now he feels awkward knowing who's upstairs and why she's there. This could be interesting to watch but he was going to listen to Frediano's order and take them home.

Interrupting them he says "Adriana come on let's go it isn't safe for both of you to be here."

Still standing on the staircase Frediano turns his back and continues up the stairs how dare she question him. This wasn't the time.

Watching Frediano disappear down the hall Adriana knew someone was there, his new girlfriend, someone he was just sleeping with, his mother or his sister mentioned someone new in his life . She was raising Frediano Jr and had their son in her arms and instead of  just the three of them going to his mothers house for safety he goes upstairs to comfort whoever was in that room. She was trying to make her relationship with Frediano better, Elena says to give him time and he'll come around on his own, she knew what she did was horrible and unforgivable but she had to try. She wanted them to be a family again and for the thought of someone else comforting, loving him, meeting their son and calling her stepmother. She was losing her mind at the thought of it and she wouldn't stand for it.

Alessandro touching her shoulder pulls her out of her thoughts and he says to her come let's go Frediano will go to his mother's house later to check on you two.

"Who is she?" Adriana asked him now with a more serious tone

Alessandro thought of answering her question; he really wanted to say a beautiful African American woman who slightly has an attitude problem but seems to care for Frediano more than she ever did. Even though he himself didn't care much for Emerald. He did see a change in Frediano he seems more happier, after all he did get shot in the foot for disrespecting her.

Further in thought, Ever since that situation with Adriana he was in a spiral for about a year didn't trust anyone not like he did in the first place but it was even worse back then. But the business was good, which reminded him he needed to talk to that man again, none of his calls seemed to be going through like it was disconnected or something.

"I don't know what you are talking about, we need to leave now."

"I know someone is in his room, I'm sure of." still holding Frediano jr. She nearly throws her son into Alessandro's arms and heads sprints upstairs.

With Alessandro yelling her name behind her.

Still sitting on his bed shaking her left leg , Frediano enters saying "Emmy I'm so sorry, I will figure who did and they will regret it I swear it." kneeling down towards her holding her hand, Emerald quickly grabs her hand away, now standing up walking away from him she says "Why would they want to hurt us, you Frediano I don't understand."
Now standing up also sighing, "Again Emerald I'm not sure I made peace with the other factions a long time ago they have their dealings and I have mine but I promise you, you are safe with me."

Now face to face with Emerald he hugs her gently with her head on his shoulder

He hears someone gasp in shock, it was Adriana at his door.
