Amelia's POV

I told him about Kate when we were in school.

When we were walking he said that he was going to be late for school tomorrow and told me to go to school with Kate.

I did not ask any further. I mean we are not that close to ask "why"....

After school, we walked to our houses together.

I entered the house and did not see my brother. Probably at his friend's house to hang out. Then i remembered that he did not go to school today and .........I FORGOT ABOUT HIS HOMEWORK!!

Great....now when he comes home, he is probably going to kill me...for sure.

While thinking about how my brother is going to kill me....i went to my room. Got changed and went to kitchen for making some snacks.

Suddenly, my phone rang.

My brother.

I picked the call.

"Hey...bro, where are you?"

"AMY!!!!...." he screamed.

I got frightened.

"M-Mel.....w-w-what happened?"

Then the main door suddenly opened with a huge thud. There was Mel standing standing at the entrance of our house looking for something or....someone? Wait...he is probably looking for me.

With all of my courage, i went out of the kitchen. Then he saw me. There i saw my brother he was holding.................A KNIFE !!

He smirked at me and started walking closer to me.

I got so frightened that i could not even move. My legs were unseparable to the floor. I am trembling with fear.

I then took all my courage and started to run to my bedroom. When i got there, i went straight to bathroom. I do not even know why i am hiding in the bathroom. But still.....i wanted to run away from the house. So i went closer to my bedroom windows to check if i really can run away or not.

I checked the windows and luckily no one was there to be seen in front of our house.

I heard sounds and loud noises from the other side of the door.

I shook my head in fear and jumped out of the window.

My room in the house was on the 2nd floor but i somehow managed to get out of there.

Who would have thought that your brother can try to kill you?

I would have been dead by now because of my brother.

After getting out of the house by the windows, i started to run.
I ran with all of the strength that i had.

I want to live. I want to be alive. I want to be with my parents. I want to see them. I want to hug them tight. I want to tell them everything.

Mel....why did you do that?

Why did you try to kill me........Your sister?

I loved you like my own brother.....

Why? Why?

I need answers.....

What did i do that you wanted to do something like this??

I ran and ran...i did not stop at all.

I did not know where to go...i just wanted to run...

So i did.

Suddenly i saw an unknown figure which was standing in the corner of the street.

He saw me and smirked at me.

My eyes widened.

I did not expect him to be here.

What is he doing here?

Ugh....my head hurts so much.

Everything went black. I passed out.

"Amy!!!!...." someone is calling me.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw...........Kate?

I got up and said.....

"What are you doing here?.."

"I am here to pick you up...now hurry and go get ready..we are going be late for school...." she said as she was standing beside my bed.

"What??...school??.....wait...i slept that long...?"

"Hey...something wrong?" She seemed concerned.

"No ....nothing...i am fine... Everything is fine.."

"No, you are not...but lets discuss this later. Now go and get ready...." she said as she pushed me in to the bathroom.

I went inside the bathroom and started to look at myself in the mirror. I look.............exausted.

My lips were pale. My face looked like it had lost all of the blood.
My body looked weak. I just could not look at myself anymore.

It was too much.

"Amy!!! Hurry up....we are going to miss the bus...."

When i heard Kate yelling, i quickly brushed my teeth and got changed.

After finishing, i went out of the bathroom and got out of the house with Kate.

When i was getting out of the house, i did not see Mel.

We went to the bus stop and got in the bus.

I started to rethink everything. It was indeed a Dream.

Just a Dream...nothing else. My brother would never try to kill me.......right?
