Amelia's POV

I went to the rooftop and sat on one of the benches. I was enjoying the view from the rooftop and breathing in the fresh air. Suddenly my phone buzzed. It was a call from an unknown number. I picked it up saying.....

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello..." The person on the other phone said.

Reality hit me. It was so shocking for me. I did not think that this person would call me now. I mean.....Now??? I was too shocked to say anything. I could not utter one word from my mouth. I just kept quiet.

I couldnt process wht was happening. I had to say atleast something but i could not. It was just too shocking for me.

"Hello?? Are you there??" The person said.
The person continued, "haha...you are too shocked, are you not...hmm??"

"Who would not be?" I finally said.

"How are you?" The person asked.

What?? How am i?? Seriously?? Now...this person is asking me how i am?? What a genius question!! I can not believe this person is asking me! Ugh...anyways...

"What do you want?" I retorted not answering this person's 'important' question...

"Woohoo.....fiesty! Haha...you have not changed yet.." The person said...

Actually, the "person" is a "he". He has called me in a long time. I will tell you more about this person later. I am just soo shocked right now.

"I will not change...i never did..." I said.

"Haha,know Amelia,you will never change for anyone.." He said.

"Ok...now what do you want?" I asked clearly not happy to hear his voice.

"Just wanted to hear your voice..." I can feel him smirk on the other side of the phone.

Ok....this is getting irritating. Why is he even calling me? Sigh...i do not understand. I do not understand him. I never did maybe...anyways..i will end this call right now..

"Ok?? Thats it?? Ok then..fine..bye" i said. And before he could say anything else i cut the line off.

Why?? Why now?? Why is he calling me now? After all this time tht i have waited for him to call me.

When i wanted to hear his voice so bad, when i wanted to talk to him, when i was having a hard time, when i missed him, when i cried, when i wanted someone to calm me down, when i needed him to call me...... did he call me??

The answer is very simple. No.

He did not call me. And now he called me just to hear my voice and  ask how i am? Ridiculous...rubbish....

He probably does not have anything else better to do or maybe he is just bored...if he is not...then why would he call me?
There is no way he missed me....enough to call me.

Suddenly i heard the bell rang. It means that the lunch time is over now. Great...i did not have my lunch...i could not enjoy the nature....great....all thanks to him..

I was angry but more ....hurt. I sighed and went downstairs to our classroom. I am pretty sure that charlie, kris, kate already went to the class. I went to our next class and sat beside kate.

Because charlie does not have this class. I was kinda glad that he was not here. He would ask me a bunch of questions that i probably do not wanna answer.

Kate looked at my direction...

"Are you ok?" Kate asked looking concerned.

"I am.......fine" i said.

"I do not think you are"

" I said i am fine!" I retorted at her.

"No you are not..." She said while crossing her arms.

"Fine! You won! I am NOT fine! But I will tell you later about it..ok??"
I said....obviously defeated by her.

Kris actually has all the same classes with charlie. So he is not here either.

The teacher came and started the lesson. We then focused on the lesson.

It was boring....as usual. I sighed.

After an hour, this boring class finished. Yay!

I tried to act normal as the next class is with Charlie and Kris. They will bombered me with tons of questions if they see me with gloomy mood...

I tried and succeeded with my act. They talked with me and Kate but could not catch up that i was acting. I am glad that they did not.

Anyways, the school finished swiftly. We all four went out of the school and walked to our home. Kate told me to call her later. I knew why she said that. So i did not ask further and walked along with Charlie.

Charlie and I walked to out houses. We talked about everything and nothing. After a while, we reached our residences.

"Bye, Amy! See you tomorrow!" Charlie said.

"Bye, Charlie.." I said smiling.

He smiled back.

His smile.

Flashback

"Hey!" I said while pouting as 'he' took my ice cream and spreaded all over my face. The ice cream was cold and my face was freezing. I quickly wiped off all the ice cream that i had on my face and spreaded on his face. I laughed looking at his face.

"Why are you laughing? And how dare you do that to me?" He asked obviously angry for what i did just now. Huh...he deserved it.

"Just the way that i dare" i said proudly and continued saying,"you deserved it. So i did it." I said and started to laugh at his face.

He actually looks very angry right now. Oppsy dupsy!! I better run now or he will kill me. I turned to run away.

"Where do you think you are going, missy?"  He said grabbing my hand not letting me run away before i even tried.

"You are not going anywhere." He said creeping me out.

What will i do now? I was scared at his words that i started to tremble. I was shivering in fear when he started to laugh very loudly. I looked at him in confusion.

"Haha...y-you sh-should h-have se-seen y-your f-face i-in t-the mi-mirror...hahaha..." he said between his laughs.

"Y-your face looks so funny!!" He said wiping off his tears because of so much laughter.

"I hate you!" I said pouting.

"Aww...i love you too" he said obviously making even me more angry.

But when he smiled, i forgot that i was angry with him couple of seconds ago.

I feel like someone was waving hands in front of my face and shaking my shoulders.

"Amy!!" ?? said.

I then zoomed out of the flashback-land and came to reality.
Charlie was right in front of me and called me.

"Hey!! Are you ok? You were zoning out! I came back cause i saw you zoning out. Is everything ok?" He asked concerned.

"Yeah...i am fine. Sorry for worring you." I said.

"Its ok. But be careful. You are zoning out a lot lately." He said.

"Thank you charlie. Bye." I smiled.

"Welcome, Amy. Bye" he said.

I entered my home and straight to my bedroom to freshen up. I went to bathroom and got changed. I came out and made some snacks for myself.

I came to my room with some snacks. I sat on my reading table and studied. In between, i ate my snacks. I was studying and finished all of my homeworks.

Then, my phone rang. It was Kate. Oh...i forgot to call her!
I accepted the call.

"Hey!" I said first.

"Hi" she said.
Good thing that she was not mad. I am glad that she is not.

"So tell me now the thing that you were worried about today" she asked and i explained evrything.

"H-he c-called y-you?" She asked in shock.

"Yeah, he did. I am shicked too. Its been a long time since he called. I do not even know why he called me today out of the blue.." i said.

"Yeah...he did not even tell you the reason, right? I can not guess either" she sighed.

"Well...lets not talk about him. I am tired. Bye. See you later" i said.

"Bye." She said and hung up the call.

After i ended the call, i finished packing my bag for tomorrow and went straight to bed. I drifted to sleep.
