The arrow whistled through the air but despite it being well aimed the deer dodged and ran off.

You groaned at your failed attempt to capture tonight's dinner.

"Heh, looks like you could use some help"

You gulped, not now.

"A-ah! Lord Takumi!" You said turning around.

He has been teaching you how to use a bow and so far you were getting a hang of it but it was completely embarrassing to fail in front of your sensei...and love interest.

"Well, there goes tonight's dinner. Let's track it down; c'mon"
Takumi grabbed your hand and dragged you towards the direction of where the deer fled.

You panted as you ran after your master.

That's right, master.

Takumi has bought you out of a traveling slave market that came from the far east.

A group of bandits captured you and took you away from your small village in Hoshido and made money by selling you to the slave market then you were put on auction.

You had thought that your life was going to go downhill from here but instead it went uphill.

Specifically, Takumi.

He bought you and provided you with an even better life.
Therefore you were thankful and swore to yourself to never leave his side.
Then you became his personal servant. Which was probably the best job you could've gotten.

"Hey, (y/n) are spacing out again?"

You snapped back to reality.

"Oh! Um sorry! Please forgive me!"
You bowed.
He sighed before lifting up your chin.

You averted your eyes; even if your faces weren't that close, your shy nature got the best of you.

You could almost feel his amber eyes burn against your skin, it made you feel even more nervous.

"I was just asking" he said clearly irritated. He let go of your chin and continued to track down the deer.

You were puzzled, what did you do wrong? Nonetheless you followed him anyway.

You and Takumi kept walking farther and farther away from camp.
"Uh, lord Takumi? Are deers that fast of runners?" You asked gripping your hunting knife.
"Not usually" he replied with an annoyed tone "apparently, this is one of them"

There it was again; what did you do to make your beloved master so irritated with you?

You couldn't accept that.

You fell to the ground and bowed.

"What-"

"I can't take it anymore!"

You couldn't believe you just interrupted him like that...

"I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Whatever it was..."

Takumi's cold expression faded into something warmer.

"Please...forgive me...I won't accept the fact that you are displeased with me"

You kept your head down and waited for his response.

You felt Takumi lift your chin up once again.
This time he wasn't staring at your eyes, he was staring at something lower then that...your lips.

"(Y/n), I'm not displeased with you...in fact, it's far from that...I'm displeased...with myself..."

Your eyes widened.

"Forgive me of what I'm going to do now"

You barely had time to process those words when his lips crashed with yours.

You never thought that this would happen, you loved your master from the bottom of your heart but you were a mere servant and he was...royalty.

Nevertheless here he was, the love of your life and the person you never thought would love you the same way you loved him, was taking the initiative and kissing you.

Kissing you.

You had barely anytime to kiss back when he pulled away.

His face as red as a tomato...

"Look, I was irritated with myself because when you averted your eyes...I thought that maybe you didn't love me back or simply loved me as a servant would love his master"
He confessed, he gripped his Fujin Yumi. He kept his head down, obviously from shame of what he did. Technically he assaulted you.

How should you reply?

"It's fine, I love you too"

his head snapped back up at your response.

"I thought my feelings were inappropriate and seeing how irritated you were with me...I thought you were...you were getting tired of me...I'm pretty worthless you know"

Takumi put his hand on your cheek wiping the small tears that fell from your eyes.

"No, don't say that. You're not worthless, you're far from that"
"L-lord Takumi..."
"Just call me Takumi, we are lovers after all right?"

You blushed "y-yes lo-I mean, yes Takumi"

"(Y/n), I love you"
"I love you too!"

The sun was starting to set and you still haven't caught dinner.

Takumi must've notice your concern and let out a laugh "alright, alright"
He took your hand.
"I think I heard some rustling near some bushes let's go!"

Mozu stared at the dead wild boar in front of her.
It was perfectly meaty and it's bones could be used for soup stock...how did Takumi and (y/n) find such a perfect one?

"-So anyways, me and (y/n) will be going now" Takumi said taking your hand and the two of you left.

Mozu giggled, she needed to spread the word that Takumi has found a lover.

I actually had this in my notes while I was practicing writing romantic stuff...all I did was copy and pasted it.
Takumi: I found your shorts in my closet *holds up shorts*
Me: *grabs them and leaves*
Takumi: what's going on with all the clothing in random places!?
