[Saizo]
I felt like putting fluff in this. Don't mind me...

As a shrine maiden, you were all about the healing and the no killing.
As timid as you were you tried to put on a brave face whenever the army went into battle.
You were frail and dainty and you weren't the most defensive person in the army (most shrine maidens weren't), your resistance was reliable though it wasn't very helpful considering the fact that most enemy units didn't use magic.
Ever since you were small, you always wanted to help people and you grasped onto that dream tightly, never letting it go.
And now it was your duty and you planned on doing it well and faithfully despite the dangers.

Corrin made a mistake.
It was only then he had realized what he had done as soon as the piece has been moved.
If only he knew that reinforcements appeared at that area!
Now [Y/n] was surrounded by generals; which were Corrin's usual pet peeve.
Usually he would have someone with an armorslayer or sting shuriken to take them down quick and clean but he didn't have any units around that area that were close enough.
Corrin scanned the battle field desperately for a solution. He spotted Saizo and Silas in the area and an idea came to his mind.
Moving Silas beside [Y/n], Corrin ordered Silas to bring [Y/n] into cover while Saizo helped get rid of reinforcements.
Corrin needed them to survive for one onslaught so he could possibly move Ryoma just a bit closer.

Everything happened too fast.
[Y/n] was surrounded by generals and suddenly Silas and Saizo burst through the wall of overly high defenses, Silas then pulled you into cover while Saizo took out a few of them. It went as how Corrin had planned.
But this was Fire Emblem.
And so, Saizo got speared in the shoulder.

Festals worked in an unusual way. Their effects were only temporary and wore off but how they worked was much more interesting.
A festal drew power from the user, drawing his or her concern to heal the target. Festals always worked best with women because they were more emotional and sensitive than men.
(Am I being sexist? No offense!✌️)
That is why the ideal shrine maiden has to be gentle and friendly, not to laid back either.
The more concerned and worried the user was the more powerful it became, the more it healed, and it's effects lasted longer (the last thing you wanted was a wound reopening in the middle of battle).
Your worry gauge reached it's limit as soon as Saizo got hit.
Suddenly, you heard screaming. It wasn't a girly scream, more like...the most manliest scream you've ever heard.
"aaaaAAAAAAAH!!!"
A blur of red rushed in and went crazy, sparks of electricity popping off a certain legendary weapon.
"Lord Ryoma!" Saizo exclaimed clutching his shoulder.
Of course he will still be able to say his Lord's name even if he was wounded.
"Get away!" Said the lobster–I mean, Hoshidan prince.
(That joke is getting old...)
Silas made haste to pick Saizo up and set him on the horse before escaping with [Y/n] squashed between the two males.
~*・°・☆・°・*~
"Saizo!!! Let me heal you!!!"
"No! I'm fine!"
Silas sighed, they managed to get to safety but Saizo was being stubborn.
Your eyes shone with worry, Saizo was bleeding pretty badly, why wouldn't he let you heal him??
Festals don't work if the target is resisting.
"Let me heal you!!" You exclaimed for the fourth time "your bleeding badly!!"
"Che!" Was the ninja's reply "it's just a shoulder wound woman!"
"Saizo!" Silas cut in "Lord Ryoma needs help! Let [Y/n] heal you so you could help!"
That did the trick.
The word 'duty' was written all over the ninja's face.
He let out a grumble and allowed you to heal him before plunging into the heat of battle where his duty was placed.

"I don't understand why! Why?!"
You continued your rant to the much more calm, green haired ninja.
Saizo's twin brother Kaze.
Kaze rubbed the back of his neck, he has never seen you so pissed and angry at the same time. It was scary.
Kaze thought twice about sharing any personal information about him and his brother, but perhaps it might be for the better.
"Saizo...would probably kill me for telling you this but...I think you would understand..." He muttered "Saizo and I...underwent a horrible event in our lives..." Kaze's voice was barely audible but you listened on anyway.
"We lived in a mountainous region with other clans. It was a convenient spot for thieves and bandits to hide because of the rocky ledges and pathways that are very hard to maneuver and walk through so the criminals who escape through there almost never get caught."
(I know Saizo mentioned about his home in his support with Mozu but I can't remember anything. Sorry! ;A;)
"One late afternoon, our parents had left to do a chore that was tasked to them and we were left alone in the house. A group of bandits that were passing by stopped at our house to rob supplies.
I wanted to run to the neighbors to call for help being the more timid and docile one but Saizo insisted to fend them off ourselves. He was positive in our skills as ninjas"
With every word that came out of Kaze's lips, your eyebrows creased further together.
"We...we tried to fend them off but they outnumbered us. By the time our neighbors checked up on us, Saizo's right eye had been blinded, I was half dead and the bandits were gone, they stole a lot. We weren't very...wealthy..."
After that incident, Saizo drowned himself in training and duty, he believed that because of him we had been humiliated, beaten and our family struggled to push forward. So...because of that; he doesn't like accepting help from anyone."
(Made all of that up; just saying.)
Kaze stopped and took a deep breath, the story was done, he hoped that Saizo wouldn't kill him later on.
"Oh my...gods...that's horrible! I didn't....I didn't know..."
You whispered folding your hands on your lap.
Kaze pursed his lips "it's something we do not speak off."
"Where is Saizo now?"
"I saw Lady Sakura tending to him in one of the medical tents, he should be resting there. That wound is pretty nasty."
You looked down to your hands; both of them were clutching each other tightly.
You felt true sympathy for Saizo, afterall, the two of you went through the same thing. You both were trying to redeem yourselves from a sin you committed in the past.

"No way! No no no!"
Small hands balled tightly while the owner, a small child, took a step back from her mother.
"Dear! Please! I know your father gave the necklace to you but we need the money!"
"It's all I have left of dad! He went out to fight the Nohrians mum! He died!"
"[Y/n]–"
The girl turned on her heels with her (h/c) colored hair flying behind her.
Ever since her father died, her smile turned upside down into a frown.
Her mother remarried a horrible man who did nothing but drink sake and play gambling games which he was horrible at.
Slowly, their money dwindled and soon, they were bankrupt.
'How could she??' [Y/n] thought as she sat at the river bank to dip her feet into the cool water.
She clutched the necklace in her hands, a pretty gold necklace with intricate designs and a (f/c) colored stone filled the middle.
It was expensive and could sell for good money but it was all what was left of her father! She wasn't giving it up that easily!
'Just try me.'

Fire and licks of flames adorned her house. It had been a week when she left and now she came back to check on her mother.
But this burning house was all she found left.
She stood there frightened and unsure of what to do.
With nowhere else to go, she ran out of the yard.
After it had rained heavily, you came back to the house. Miraculously, the mail box survived and it was burnt open so [Y/n] could just reach in and take whatever was left there.
Surprisingly enough, she found a letter...
She neatly unfolded it, the letter was in perfect condition.
'[Y/n] you foolish girl,
You winced slightly at the first harsh sentence. By the way it was written, no doubt it was from your mother.
'Why didn't you give me the necklace that day?? You could've saved our family! After you left, your father came and beat me for not having any money.
Do you not care for me?!
Stupid child, just go follow your petty dreams of 'helping soldiers.' Go! Run off and don't think of entering the house!'
You felt as if an arrow was struck through your stomach. That dream you had always kept in your heart; to help soldiers in battle, so they wouldn't fall like your father did.
In anger, you tore up the note and began to rummage through the broken building for any weapon you could use to defend yourself. It was finally time; time to leave the village in search for a new and better home.

[Y/n] woke up to the sound of thunder and rain.
She jumped up from her futon to shut the windows as the rain was starting to wet the tatami mat.
Looking outside, it reminded her of how she met Saizo and Kaze.
They had found her huddled under a tree and brought her to Corrin, then she got recruited as a healer.
Her dream came true.
Oddly enough, the thunder and lightning scared her. Walking away from the window she grabbed her blanket to wrap around herself and went to look for Saizo.
~*・°・☆・°・*~
Silently sliding the door, you tiptoed into Saizo's room and kneeled on the floor. As you wondered how to wake him up without getting impaled with multiple shurikens, a flash of lightning hit your eyes followed by a crash of thunder.
Yelping, you immediately tackled Saizo in a hug.
The ninja shot up and saw your quivering form clutching to him timidly.
His tired eyes softened slightly as the moment reminded him of the day he met you, you clutched onto him the same way.
~*・°・☆・°・*~
You took a breath after explaining your situation as to why you came here. You also added the part of talking about his past.
Giving the scarred ninja a hug, you murmur and whisper condolences.
In return, Saizo gently rubbed your back with his rough and calloused hand.
Awkwardly, he muttered a few comforting phrases into your ear.
"It's...it's going to fine."
"Oi...! Are you...are you crying??"
"...don't be a fool..."
The last one particularly hurt but it made you hug him tighter.
After so much searching, you finally found the perfect home.
In his embrace.

Sorry if Saizo was really ooc.
And sorry for being a day late, inspiration decided to be a bitch and left me at the very last moment. So yeah. I hope you enjoyed tho, I combined the two optional requests except for the husband part.
