Part 2 of [Leo]

Forrest could still remember the face of his father when he came home from Hoshido.
Despite his father's reserved outward appearance; Forrest can tell his father was writhing in agony inside.

Forrest and his brother, Kana, had rushed out to greet their parents but only found one.

The other was gone.

Their mother had died.

Forrest remembered how Kana clutched his clothes wetting it with his tears. Forrest couldn't care less about his clothing that time.

He couldn't get over the fact that...

His mother was dead.

Forrest embraced his brother. Salty tears streaming from his eyes.
They only had their father left.
Was he going to die too?

Forrest walked down the lonely and dark hallways of the castle.

It was always dark in Nohr but it seemed even darker today.

He stopped in front of a family portrait.

The portrait was eerie and had a weird feel to it.
It hung at the side of the wall just above a vase full of purple roses.

The Nohrian siblings were in it.
There was uncle Xander, aunt Camilla, aunt Elise, father, and...mother...

They all had smiles on their faces but his mother's smile was the biggest of them all. It lit up that part of the hallway just by looking at it.

Forrest left for his father's room.

As Forrest opened the door he wondered if his father kept a small shrine in there for his dead mother.

He actually did.

Near his father's dresser was a portrait of his mother on top of a shelf that was filled with white rose petals and gemstones.

Forrest's mother was wearing a simple black dress and had a white floral hairpiece.

Just by looking at her portrait, he realized how much everyone misses her and how much this castle is going to change.

He felt tears swelling up in his eyes.

He fled to his room where he could cry freely.

His tears ran down his cheeks as he knelt in front of his bed clutching the blankets tightly.

He needed help.

But who was there to give it?

He felt something cool caress his face.

He looked behind him and saw his mother standing there.

She still wore her usual clothing but she was white and ghostly.
She had no presence and no weight.

"M-mother?" He choked out.

She smiled and brought him into her, surprisingly, warm embrace.

"There's no need to be upset anymore, I'm here Forrest, I'm here"

Forrest hugged his mother back with even more tears streaming out from his eyes.

"Mother! Mother!" He cried out.

You smiled and rubbed his back gently and supportively.

"Your mother is here now, there's no need to be afraid"
"I'm here now Forrest"

"I'm here"

I loved writing this, it's so sweet and caring. Next is Takumi's version and I have a good one! *evil laugh*
