Chapter Thirteen: Farewell! A Tearful yet Proud Ending!

"Well, this was one amazing cruise!" Keita called out to the others in the dining room as the day had finally turned to night, thus eliciting dinner for the famished people. The poor dears hadn't eaten for quite a long while, so it was time to reenergize themselves.

"Amazing, more like crazy," Fubuki deadpanned, which only served to make the others laugh like hyenas.

"Alright, calm down everyone," Hershel stood up and held a hand to calm them down. "Keita has something to say."

The entire place grew silent as everyone's interest grew. What did their oh so great leader want to say?

Keita coughed, before he spoke, "The last two days have been quite stressful, I admit. None of us had wanted this to happen on our vacation, but I guess our trouble magnets are still hard at work everyday. Yet, you still worked your hardest. You tried to rescue us, and on the second day of the kidnappings, you not only managed to rescue us, but also stop the masterminds and give them another chance. Kam Choiseung of the FC world and the other members of Cabin CC, you've done good. Everyone, give them a round of applause!"

Almost immediately, there was a wave of fervent clapping and cheering as the mentioned cabin members sheepishly smiled back.

"It wasn't us alone, though," Steven said. "It was all of our hard work combined together."

"Agreed," Madoka smiled. "But the one who did most of it was FC Choiseung-san."

However, when they turned to him, expecting smiles, they found themselves seeing frowns on his face.

"Choiseung-san?" FC Keisuke asked him.

"Erm, well... I actually have an announcement to everyone..." he admitted.

That caused another blanket of quiet to engulf the huge room, but Keita smiled sadly as he gestured for him to go on stage to say what he had to say.

The Korean hesitantly stepped forward, but halfway through he felt a comforting hand on his shoulder, making him turn to see his dad, who smiled at him.

He felt a bit better, at least.

Once they got to the stage, they both climbed up and met Keita, who gave them a soft smile before handing the microphone over to Choiseung.

He exhaled, fists gripped tightly. Then he spoke, "To be honest, Dad and I had a talk the night he was taken. Not only about my unrequited love towards Akino and Rau, but also about.... about leaving this group."

"Now, it's nothing about the group, of course!" he said once he saw everyone's mouth ready to talk. "I love this group, and I've learnt so many new things from being with you all in this entire year. It's just that, I got a job offer to go back to Korea. They need my help back there. In addition, Dad and I... well, we would be lying if we said that we were completely happy once the excitement settled in. I felt so overwhelmed by all this craziness, and my own feelings doesn't make it any better."

"Plus, we need a new start," Chenhua added. "We've learnt a lot, but it's time for us to go."

"If I leave, I want you all to know that either way, being in this group..." Choiseung wiped some tears off his face. He felt a bit emotional now. "I've learnt a lot from you, I'm thankful for all the people I've met in my life. You've all given me so much to learn, and I realise that I'm not too good myself. It was only pure luck that I managed to solve this. So I'm going to keep it up. And so, thank you, everyone."

Most of them were already sobbing as this was said. Some of them owed him a life debt for saving them, some felt bad for hurting him, especially Akino, but others knew that he could help others.

Like FC Rasen, who stepped forward before he finally wrapped his arms around the two, letting his own tears fall down as he said, "I'll miss you a lot."

"L-Likewise," Chenhua hugged him back.

Choiseung hugged Rasen as best as he could, mumbling, "I-I'll miss you a lot, Rasen."

"Just make sure you save others like how you saved me," he tearily smiled.

Everyone soon joined in, and the atmosphere that night was filled with happiness and goodbyes to the two.

The next day, they docked at the Healing Scars world's Daedo city, letting off FC Choiseung and Chenhua. The members who were waiting there had been so confused about this, but even more about the SDA agents who had arrived a day earlier. Thankfully, it was cleared up once Keita explained the situation, which surprised them. The FC kids also got to meet the OD versions of Akino, Rau, Choiseung and Chenhua, with some excitement from Genki, of course.

Other than that, though, the SDA agents got to work straight away.

"Make sure you bring them to my rehab center," Ben told the two agents who were very close to the SRS members, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and Dora. They gave their words of agreement, and thus Karan and Gustav were taken to the cars headed to the center, where they would be given therapy by some psychologists who had come down to help out with the rehab center.

FC Akino hugged his friends, trying to stay strong no matter what, "I'll miss you."

"Likewise, but you still have my phone number, so we can still talk," Choiseung smiled back.

"It's just not the same," Rau shot back.

"Do your best, a-and make sure you come back to visit!" FC Ayame said.

"Don't worry, Yame, we will," Chenhua patted her head, which made her smile before she backed off to let the two open the portal back to the FC non-fictional world.

Everyone waved, and the members of Cabin CC gave them their own final hugs and goodbyes. Steven had promised to introduce Choiseung to some people who might be interested in him, and FC Keisuke had confessed to Uju the night before at his beckoning, which was why the Eco-Team was teasing him to bits. Once that was over, the two used their Transportation Devices to open up a swirling red vortex.

Looking back, they waved once more, before they stepped through the portal and let it close behind them.

With that, this story was officially closed right in that harbour.

Wait, it can't be right, can it?

Course not. This world continues on with or without me. I'm just the one giving people a chance to develop themselves through these stories.

I was its first head, and I'm proud of how far they've gone.

My hopes are to return them to this world in a decade. That would be once I've stabilised myself, because before that, I had caused them so much suffering.

I hope that it's not going to end in vain.

So, thanks for all your support of this series! This may be the last novel, but it's also a series close to my heart. I hope to gain more supporters as we go too. Thanks to mama_kurogiri and Zayachu15 whose OCs have popped up in this story. May you continue to prosper.

Don't leave yet, though. A brief look into the two's lives will be shown, and if requested, it'll be written down in Universal Help from Hidden Writers.

Well then, see ya!

*Epilogue*

Chenhua: (pokes his head into Choiseung's room) Oi, Choiseung, you ready?

Choiseung: (looks up) Alright then. I have to head to school too, though.

Chenhua: Ah I see. Welp, I'll drop you off at university before I head to my own lessons.

Choiseung: Alright. Thanks, Dad! (gets up, eyes look towards a photo of all of them the night before he left, smiles) See you guys. (leaves his room, and the camera zooms in to his Magical Mirror with a letter from all the members of Cabin CC there)
