Chapter One: Cruising and Reuniting *FC Choiseung*

"Choiseung, are you ready?!"

"Not yet, Dad!"

"Oh for crying out loud, Choiseung! It's just a seven-day cruise!" I heard Rau complain from my living room, sounding exasperated. "No one's going to steal anything here!"

"I just need to make sure I've packed everything!" I yelled back, trying to focus on the final check as I mentally ticked off the things I had. My essentials for cleanliness? Check. My laptop to keep up with cases? Check. My favourite Boo doll given as a present from Cellyne on my birthday? Check. Clothes? Check. Everything seemed to be in order.

Alright, everything's here!

"I'm done!" I quickly grabbed my things and rushed to the door, opening it to reveal my best friends waiting.

"Gosh, Choi, you really know how to extend things," Akino joked as he leaned on the railing of our apartment complex.

"I like doing that a lot," I grinned back at him, trying to hold in my excitement. This was, after all, a cruise with the SRS! I couldn't wait!

"I know that you're excited, Choi, but that could have been used to speed up the process," Rau complained to me, watching me lock my apartment door before slinging my backpack around my shoulder and grabbing my duffel bag while crossing his arms.

"Well, you know how Choiseung is, Rau," Dad chuckled goodnaturedly. "He's always meticulous."

I could only sheepishly rub my head hearing that. That was one of my pet peeves, alright.

"Anyway, you guys ready?" Akino smiled.

"Yep!" I nodded enthusiastically. This was definitely going to be fun!

"Well then, let's get going," Dad laughed. "Rau, the Teleportation Device?"

"Got it out," he grinned back as he took it out.

Created by the original SRS a few decades ago, this thing may look old and antique, but it can still work as well as any other device the group has made. Well, maybe excluding the few times you fall into a pile, but it's old. What did you expect?

Rau quickly pressed the buttons required, and once the blueish portal was open, we all stepped in, ready for an adventure...

Only to gape at the huge cruise that was to be our home for the next five days.

Pristine, white, ENORMOUS, and all the other things in the world; that is what we were faced with now.

"This is just... Wow!" Rau rubbed his eyes.

"Amazing, isn't it?" a familiar voice agreed, prompting us to turn.

"Keisuke!" I immediately graced him with a rare genuine smile. After the entire fiasco when we fought against Chaos, I had to admit that FC Keisuke and I had grown closer. But he's always seen near the Shadowside gang, and since I spent time with Yame and Akino and the others, we rarely interact these days.

"Choi-nii!" another happy voice brought grins upon all of our faces as Himeno Ayame, the only girl in our group of friends, rushed over to where we were with the FC Shadowside gang AND the FC Light Enchanters in tow.

"Hey, Choiseung," Lizzy waved at me, smiling behind her oval glasses.

I laughed, ruffling her hair in the process, "Good to see you okay. You don't stay up anymore right?"

"Nope. Not after that little trick you taught me. Nice one, by the way."

"Hey, it's from a detective to another. How can I not help you?" I patted her gently.

"It works out really well. Keeps me from dying every night when Ran tries to scream into my ear," a perfectly familiar voice chuckled goodnaturedly, causing us detectives to spin around.

Our eyes widened. This was...!

Was this person who I thought he was?

"Liz, please tell me I'm dreaming."

"I could say the same to you, Choiseung. Is that...?"

The person only laughed, putting his hands into his green jacket, "You're not dreaming, for sure. Well, unless you're Dav-chan, which I'm pretty sure you're not."

My mouth went open. Was this a dream?

"Aiya, Shinichi-nii, you made them freeze up," another person laughed as he adjusted his orange cap.

"I guess that when you're a legend in the non-fictional and fictional worlds, it just slaps you in the face," another familiar face giggled beside him.

"Anyway, I guess we should introduce ourselves then," the one with the cap grinned. "I'm Sakura Genki. Everyone calls me Energetic Genki. Nice to meet you guys! I heard all about you from the older members."

"I'm Kudou Shinichi or Edogawa Conan, and this is my wife, Mouri Ran," Conan grinned at us, seemingly unaware of the sparkles now present in my eyes.

"OH MY FREAKING YOUKAI KAMI!" I finally screamed, drawing attention to us as I rushed over and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Shinichi-san! I'm a huge fan of your franchise! It's the entire reason I got into anime in the first place! You're a total legend!"

"Wow, to think that you have these kinds of fans around our group," Ran laughed goodnaturedly, smiling all the while.

"Hey, Edogawa!" another voice yelled out from above. "Get settled in first before you spend time with your fans!"

We both turned to see a pink-haired male slide down from the railing, grinning all the while.

Conan rolled his eyes in reply, "Wow, quite the greeting, don't you think, Nebok?"

"It's been a while, Nebok," Rau waved at him.

So this is Kim Nebok. Ex-Leader of the Grimm Society, and the Pilot of Tobot R, I recalled. He had also gone on a few missions with Rau, which explained the familiarity.

"Yo," he waved back. "Have any of you seen Sayaka around?"

"Maizono right?" Ran checked her facts first. "She's already in her cabin, I think. So is Kai."

"Huh?" our Kai blinked.

"Oh wait sorry," she laughed a bit. "I was talking about Nebok's Kai. Urazoe Kai from Digimon Tamers.

"Wait what?!" Nebok looked stunned. "But they said-"

"That's why we always say that you trust people as easily as you trick them," a green-haired person sweatdropped, causing Tireni, Kuriwa, Manuel and Keisuke to spin around fast.

Their eyes widened, before they decided to wave at the guy.

"Izuku, it's been a while!" Tireni greeted, jogging over to meet him.

I quickly scanned my mental database, quickly finding the information I needed.

Midoriya Izuku, current apprentice of Toshinori Yagi, holder of One for All. Student of Class 1-A in the Hero Course of U.A. High School. Originally Quirkless, he had been given One for All after rescuing Bakugou Katsuki from a Nomu.

He had met them during the entire chaos with Aruke-jii's kidnapping. He was there when Keisuke went loco, but now they're good friends.

"It's been a while," he smiled, allowing his freckles to show.

The three's responses were as cheerful as his; Keisuke waved at him, smiling all the while. Kuriwa grinned, and Manuel smiled.

Just then, someone accidentally crashed into me, causing me to stumble back. I ended up catching some books from that person, gaining my balance once my head stopped spinning.

"Ah, sorry!" the person apologised as they leaned down to get their books.

"No, it's fine," I handed the books back, smiling politely at the purple-eyed person I was helping.

"Ah, Pilseung-kun!" Izuku waved enthusiastically, which was reciprocated by an orange-haired girl as she jogged over with someone else who looked like he was related to the person who had bumped into me.

"Nice to see you guys again! What a way to greet our friends, too, Pori, Pada," Conan greeted, patting the other male's back.

He could only sweat drop, "Sorry for Pilseung. He's..."

"As excitable as the sunshine of the Korean side, Kang Taeyang," Genki laughed, smiling all the while. "Don't worry, Pada, we get it. Where is said person anyway?"

"He's going to be running a bit late or something," Pilseung explained.

"And that's a good thing," Pori grinned. "Anyway, you guys have outdone yourselves."

"I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. The committee definitely overworked themselves with this," Ran agreed.

Izuku sighed, clearly used to this, "We'll interrogate them later. Anyway, we should get in now, shouldn't we?"

"Agreed," Nebok nodded. "Let's go. Sayaka's probably helping out with Duri, since they're the psychologists of our groups."

"Good point, but didn't they set things up a month before now?" Pilseung blinked.

"Well, you know those guys. Meticulous to the core," Ran joked.

The rest of us laughed as we climbed on board, ready and excited.

This was the beginning of our fun vacation!

Oh, if only I knew how wrong I was.
