Til The End
At the moment I am standing outside one of the rooms with Namjoon pacing and Jimin sitting down with his head in his hands. Jin and Yoongi are in the room trying to help Taehyung, none of us knows what's happening in there. When we came in Jimin looked like he was going to cry when he saw Taehyung, I want to talk to him but I don't know what to say.
"Why doesn't Taehyung like blood?" I suddenly ask, surprising myself. "It-it doesn't matter..."
"Memories." Namjoon answered.
"His past." Jimin replied.
"You guys don't like to talk much about your past, do you?" I ask, trying to sound cheerful.
"Neither do you," Namjoon said looking over to me. "Who wants anyone to know what they went through?"
"Have you ever heard the saying 'a problem shared is a problem halved'?" I sigh, resting my head against the wall. "Sometimes you guys are giddy like children and the next you seem to be mourning."
"True," Namjoon clasped his hands against his back. "But if you knew what we all went through then you would be a threat to all of us."
"Me? A threat?" I chuckle. "Am I going to murder you all because you told me about your past?"
"You're not one of us," Namjoon sighed too. "You don't understand."
"Obviously I can't understand something I know nothing about." I let my eyes close. "You never know, opening up to people could be a good thing."
"Would you like to tell us everything about your father?" Namjoon coughs. "Exactly."
His words stung so I kept quiet. Jimin was still in the same position, I am not sure if he's crying or not, he doesn't seem to be.
Jin and Yoongi both walk out of the room, Yoongi stands beside me whilst Jin shuts the door.
"Leave him be for now," Jin instructs. "No one enter this room just yet. He needs to rest."
We all nod.
"Lucy," Jin turns to me. "Tae was too out of it to tell us anything, can we all sit down and talk?"
"Sure," I feel Yoongi's arm brushing mine. "I'll tell you everything I remember."
"Thank you." Jin smiled a little. "We'll be waiting downstairs, the kitchen is sound proof so we won't listen into you two's conversation."
Namjoon sniggers but shut up when Jin pinched his ear.
"Ow!" Namjoon yells. "I'm the leader, you know?"
"Yes," Jin replies calmly. "And I'm the eldest, you know?"
"You're lucky I respect you," Namjoon grumbles, rubbing his ear. "You didn't have to pinch me so hard!"
"Stop being such a baby," Jin replies, rubbing his ear softly. "I didn't pinch it too hard, you're supposed to be a gang leader and yet you're crying over a little pinch."
"I'm not crying!" Namjoon shouts. "Ya! Jimin! Do I look like I'm crying to you?"
Jimin looks up, his cheeks are not tear stained.
"No," Jimin replied quietly. "But you do cry an awful lot."
"Thank- ya!" Namjoon walks up to Jimin who quickly stand up and grins. "I'm your leader!"
"I'm only telling the truth," Jimin grins, putting his hands in the air. "You can't blame me for that."
Namjoon tries to grab Jimin's collar but he dodges his hand and runs down the corridor to the stairs, Namjoon runs after them.
"How do I put up with such children?" Jin sighs before walking up to me and resting a hand on my shoulder. "Whenever you want to talk about anything, even though we're not close, I'm always here."
"Thank you," I reply honestly. "I might take your offer."
"You know," Jin smiles, looking at me. "I always wanted to own a restaurant and yet here I am, babysitting children in bodies of men."
"I don't know how you get through it," I giggle hearing something crash downstairs.
"Namjoon." All three of us say at the same time.
"We should go out shopping one day," Jin says taking his hand off my shoulder and walks away. "It would be fun, I've never been shopping at a mall or something like that before."
"We definitely should," I call after him as he walks down the corridor. "It would be so fun!"
"Are you okay?" Yoongi asked once Jin was downstairs. "Did they hurt you at all?"
"No," I reply, giving him a reassuring smile. "Taehyung protected me, they didn't even touch me."
"That's good," Yoongi sighs in relief. "I'll have to thank him later, he isn't the guy to leave a girl to defend herself anyway."
"He's a nice guy," I start walking, he does too. "To be honest, he was such a pervert from before I never expected him to be like that."
"Like what?"
"Like a brother," I smile to myself as we reach the stairs. "I always wanted an older brother, to play with me, to protect me and to love me. It would have been nice for someone to be there for me back then, but then again I'd rather no one else get hurt from my father."
"About your father," Yoongi looks away. "Jungkook hasn't come back."
"Are you sure?" I start to panic. "What an idiot! He shouldn't have gone off like that, what was he thinking? He's going to be hurt and it will be all my-"
"Don't you dare." Yoongi hold both of my shoulders, making me face him. "None of this is your fault, do you hear me?"
"I should never have got close to you guys." Tears start to fall. "I shouldn't have let my guard down, mother always said that I shouldn't make friends or to get close to anyone because no one would be able to trust me enough. I always make trouble, and now Jungkook-"
He pulls me into him, his arms wrapping around my shoulders, his chin resting on my shoulder lightly. I listen to his slow breathing, which calms me down. Awkwardly, Yoongi releases his arms and looks anywhere but my eyes.
"You..you were being noisy," Yoongi mumbles. "Don't assume I care for you."
"Of course not," I sniff, lightly punching his shoulder. "Small, old Yoongi would never care for a girl!"
He smiles, his gums showing, and faces away.
"Let's go," he walks to the kitchen. "The others will be wondering where we are."
"Hey!" I say after him as he walks into the kitchen. "Wait for me!"
I bump into Yoongi.
"Why are you standing like that?" I ask, he seems so stiff. "Come on!"
I walk round him but stop and croak.
On the sofa is Jin, mouth open and eyes wide, lying down facing to the ceiling. Namjoon is on the floor, eyes closed and hands over his face, curled up in a ball next to the sofa. Blood is pouring out of Jin's mouth and eyes, his eyes have holes in them, his neck is slit open. A knife is in the back of Namjoon's head, blood is everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere.
Someone quickly pulls me back and pushes me out of the room, I see Yoongi lightly pushing me away, making sure I can't see the kitchen.
"They-" I croak, my voice hoarse.
"Hush." Yoongi rubs his hands in circles on my back. "Be quiet, they could still be here."
"B-"
"Shh."
Obeying his command, I don't say anything more. Pursing my lips, I turn around to face the way we're walking. Yoongi pulls me behind him and holds my hand, tightly. I can feel him shaking, I wish I could hug him right here at this very moment.
He leads me to the front door.
"Where are we going?" I whisper as he opens the door. "What about Jimin? Or Hoseok? Or Taehyung?"
"They are big boys," Yoongi tries to pull me out the door but I don't move. "They can fight for themselves, but right now we need to leave, now!"
"Are you really just leaving them?" I ask. "Didn't you see the kitchen? If we leave now what if it happens to the others? Taehyung is not well, he can't possibly defend himself!"
"Stop talking so loud!" Yoongi hushes, roughly pulling me out of the door and into the garden. "We don't have enough time for your complaining!"
"How can you leave so easily?" I ask, tears running down my cheeks as he drags me along. "Your friends will die if you run away!"
"Shut up!" Yoongi shouts at me. "Shut up! Shut up! If you don't shut your god damn mouth you're going to get us both killed!"
Pushing me into a front seat of a car, I watch him run round and into the drivers seat, as soon as he sits down we hear gun shots from the house. Putting my seat belt on and then his, Yoongi drives out of the driveway and out of the gate.
"I promise you," I can see Yoongi's veins on his fingers as he clutched the wheel. "Once we get somewhere safe I'll tell you everything, you're one of us now."
