A few people seem confused in who's perspective it is in this story, so I'm going to clear something's up.
You (the reader) are Lucy, I switch between Lucy's perspective and a 3rd person's so that's probably why some people got confused.
Anyone who is still confused you can comment or you are free to message me.
On the bus, Taehyung only made small talk and created funny faces with his fingers on the windows, I was glad that he was content with not disturbing me. We're still on the bus, even after continuous pestering, he still won't tell me where we're going.
"If you don't tell me where you're taking me I'll come to the conclusion you're kidnapping me and I'll get off at the next stop." I whine, defeated. "Why won't you tell me where we're going?"
"I'm not stopping you from getting off, you could have easily left before." Taehyung replied, playfully. "The next stop is where we're getting off anyway."
"Finally," I sigh, falling back into my seat dramatically. "We've been on this bus for hours."
"It's literally been an hour," Taehyung chuckled at your cute behaviour.
He had pretended to be annoyed at your endless asking but really he found it adorable, but he knew where he stood and he promised himself he would only see you as a friend, if he would break his promise is up to you.
"The next stop is-."
Taehyung quickly covers my ears, then presses the bell. When he releases his hands he smiles his rectangle smile cheekily.
"Why'd you do that for?" I ask, knowing the answer.
"I don't want you to know where we are just yet." Taehyung looks out of the window and grins. "You're quite annoying when you want to be, aren't you?"
"Hypocrite."
"Don't bully me!" Taehyung widens his eyes, dramatically. "How ironic."
"Now you know how it feels!" I scowl. "Maybe you won't be nasty after you know how it feels.."
"I am an adorable man," he nudges me. "Girls fall to my feet just for a pat on the head, oh, we're here."
Covering my eyes, we waddle off the bus and outside, Taehyung occasionally giggling.
Screams are heard when we get closer.
"Where the fuck are you taking me?" I ask.
"Relax," even though I can't see him I know he's smiling. "They're screams of joy."
"That doesn't make me feel any better whatsoever." I kick him in the shins. "Stop being creepy and let me see."
"I, Taehyung," he pulls his hands away. "Will make your potentially worst day of your life to the best day!"
"Even better than the day the ice cream man gave me free ice cream?"
"Definitely," Taehyung smiles. "But that does come pretty close."
In front of me is a large fence with an even bigger gate, inside I see rollercoasters, stalls and tents. The smell of hotdogs, candy floss and sweets waved toward us and the sounds of screaming now seems more happier. I look over to Taehyung to see him watching me, grinning.
"Come on!" Taehyung shouts, running off. "Last person to a rollercoaster is a poop."
"Poop? Really?" I laugh a little at his childish attitude. "He is a literal kid in a mans body..wait up!"
Running into the amusement park, I realise how big it is, from the outside it looks quite small. Looking around, I spot Taehyung waving to me frantically in a queue to a scary-looking rollercoaster. The rollercoaster was red with yellow lightning bolts, watching a couple people ride it was enough for my head to start spinning, I walked up to Taehyung anyway.
"I-I don't think I can ride this one, Tae." I gulp. "It goes pretty high.."
"It'll be fine!" He laughs but stops when he sees how scared I am. "Don't you trust me?"
"No." I blankly reply, trying not to laugh at his shocked expression. "I've only spoken to you, what, twice?"
"I'll accept your reason," he looks up at a few people on the ride screaming. "If you're worried about dying on it, you're actually more likely to die on the way here than on a ride."
"You are the worst person with words," I sigh. "You know that, right?"
"I try!" He pouts. "Look, I'll hold your hand the entire time and I won't judge you if you cry."
"You're getting better," I clench my hands as we get closer to the front of the queue.
"Don't be scared," Taehyung puts an arm around my shoulder. "Life is too short to be scared of things, let go."
"My life will be shorter if I get on that ride." I replied as we got to the front. "I'm not sure if I can do this, can't we do something else, please?"
"We're here now," he leads me to the front seat and I weakly sit down. "It won't be as fun if I ride it by myself."
"You could have brought someone else." I quickly put my seat belt on. "Don't you have friends?"
"Yes," he replies, putting his seat belt on too. "But most of them seem to like you, I'm no third wheeler."
"Of course not," I chuckle. "You're the playboy that plays with all the girls, not as good as Hoseok, but you do it pretty well. You could have just asked one of your girls."
"I'm actually a virgin," he laughs. "I've never even kissed a girl."
"Bullshit."
"I'm not joking!" The barrier goes down. "Have you ever seen me kissing a girl?"
Thinking about it, I've never actually seen him with a girl.
"But," I say, trying to ignore the rollercoaster slowly moving upwards. "You're known as a playboy?"
"They're just rumours," he answers, his hair being messed up from the wind. "You don't believe what anyone says, do you?"
"You're really a virgin?" I ask, shocked. "Then how did you know how to draw that thing for my homework?"
"Porn," he looks at me before we get to the top of the highest point. "Lots and lots of porn."
"You-" I reply before the ride rushed down the track. "Oh my god!"
I scream, Taehyung screams louder.
Instead of gripping onto the barrier I cling to Taehyung, scared out of my life.
"Lucy!" Taehyung shouts over my screams. "We need to do this more often!"
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I scream. "I'm never riding this again!"
He laughs whilst I scream.
Getting off the ride was harder than it looked, at first I nearly fell off the platform until Taehyung caught me and pushed me away.
Looking at the photo of me pushing my face into Taehyung's chest screaming whilst Taehyung has his arm around my shoulder laughing was an amusing thing to see for both of us.
"I'm totally buying this," Taehyung takes out his wallet and pays for it. "Do you want a version?"
"No," I reply quickly. "This is something I'd rather not remember."
"But you had fun, right?" He asks, grinning at the keychain in his palm.
"..yes?" I reply, unsure of his reply.
"Great!" He replies, his face automatically looking up like a puppy. "Let's go to the next one!"
"Are you-"
"Come on," Taehyung starts to walk backwards, grinning. "You, poop."
