She was created from Princess Luna's negative emotions. Luna though nopony cared about what she was doing. Once becoming Nightmare Moon, she started to fight her own sister. Princess Celestia had no choice but to banish her own sister. Then Nightmare Moon came back during the Summer Sun Celebration. Was defeated by Twilight Sparkle and her friends

What I love about her: she was created from the negative emotions, trying to stop the future Bearers of Harmony.

What I hate: there's nothing I could tell about her to hate.
