It's during the confines of loneliness,

That darkest moments are witnessed,

It's in the society of judgemental's,

is a presence remembered,

You, perhaps, don't recognize,

What strength words and actions behold,

A family, meant to uphold each other,

Could also be the eye of havoc.

For many days and two decades,

Longed for a heart that accepts,

Not only joy and talents,

But also pain and flaws,

But realized along path of treacherous life,

Only façade was accepted, expected,

For the truth was too bitter to taste,

Understanding a greater chore,

It baffles me, how partial they are,

For equality was, but a word,

And actions spoke louder and bolder,

Lucidly through misty days of hypocrisy,

Oh Beware! a soul is about to part,

Another human heart is shredded,

Whatever little does remain,

Save it whilst is lasts!
