Sorry I did not write a chapter on 4/22/16. I was preparing for my Mom's birthday which I will attend today on 4/23/16. To make it up to you, I will write another chapter later today to get us back on schedule.

Reader's P.O.V

It had been my second day at the Trancy Manor and I've been really enjoying myself. I felt like a Trancy, almost as if I was always apart of the Manor. Everything was going smoothly. Though Claude insisted that I not trust other demons, including the manor's other servants since he's told me they were responsible for his death. I didn't understand what he meant by this but Claude said he'd tell me about it later. I still listened to his advice. I got weird vibes from Hannah more than I did from the Triplet's. (Who's names I later found out were Canterbury, Thomas, and Timber)At times it seemed she was trying to hide how she really felt towards me. I'd often catch a glimpse of her staring at me with jealousy one moment and another moment she'd be the same maid making Alois angry and cringing in fear. I wondered if she'd ever had feelings for Claude? She seemed envy of our relationship. Too bad for her though, I intend to keep Claude all to myself. Besides even if she doesn't approve Alois changed his mind about us. We were kind of like his parents, or at least I was.

I had wanted to grow closer with Alois. He was a very interesting boy once you got past his seemingly unapproachable personality. I knew that in time he'd open up and tell me how he feels so I can be there to support him. Which is why we now found ourselves outside the manor, playing chess on a beautiful day.

(Y/N): Ok, so can my bishop move to your Queen?

Alois: No, you can only move diagonally with a bishop and must stay in the same color.

I pondered this. Chess was not a game I had expertise in.

(Y/N): Then can my king move across the board?

Alois. Only one square in any direction.

(Y/N): How about my Queen? Can I attack you now?

Alois: -_- No, you really suck at chess mother.

(Y/N): I've never played until now.

While I was being beaten terribly in chess by Alois, Claude had came to our sides, ready to serve our afternoon tea and cake. Alois and I were enjoying our snack as Claude watched. Alois and I looked at each other mischievously and then at Claude. I took some of the icing from our cake and stood up to smear it on Claude's face. Alois and I laughed as Claude took a handkerchief and began to clean his face. Yet I had made the mistake of letting my guard down. When I turned away Claude had grabbed my arm and that's when we noticed I had a little cake on my mouth. Before I could wipe it away Claude had already dived in to lick it away and I blushed at Claude's forwardness. Soon enough we were kissing each other very passionately as Claude brought me closer to him.

Alois: Ahem, I'm still here you know.

Alois was looking quit out of place seeing Claude and I practically making out with each other. We had pulled apart and Alois spoke up.

Alois: I have a meeting with Duke what's- his- name in an hour anyway. Maybe you can teach mother how to be a better chess player while you swallow each other.

Alois had decided to give us some time together as he made his way back into the manor.

I looked back at Claude, he seemed to want to tell me something.

Claude: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Yes?

Claude: I have something very important to tell you.

(Y/N): Go on.

Claude: Do you remember when I told you that Hannah and the Triplets were responsible for my death.

(Y/N): Yes, what did you mean by that?

Claude: It all started with Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis. You must understand that in this world demons are pretty common. One summons a demon when they make a wish and in exchange we provide them our service in exchange for their soul, which is what I've done with Alois. However in that time I was acting out on my own self benefit and I betrayed Alois and killed him so that I could have Ciel's soul which was much better than Alois's. However Sebastian would not let me have it without a fight which I ended up losing and later found out that Hannah had already made a contract with Alois. She would later come to take me away as I died but I was greeted by an angel of death instead. I was supposed to die that day and be sent back to hell but I ended up here again. I had a second chance at life and I was the only one who remembered what happened in the past. I was going to go back to my old ways but then everything changed when I met you.

(Y/N): But how is it possible?

Claude: I have a theory but I don't want to tell you about it if I'm not certain. Though you must understand that you being with me is the most dangerous thing you could do. I want to clear everything up with you so you can decided If this is truly what you want. Can you live with what I am, knowing what sadistic things I have done, knowing that one day I will have to claim Alois's soul?

This was a lot for me to take in as I pondered it for a second and not a moment later. I knew what I wanted.

(Y/N): Yes I can live with it. Just because you've done things in the past doesn't mean ill judge you for what you are. It's what you were made to be, you didn't get to choose that. Besides I've got to know the real you and I think your the most wonderful person I've ever met, even if no one else thinks that. After all I'm your mate, everything that happens in our lives, were supposed to go through it together. We protect each other even if can't do much. Your enemies are my enemies and even though I'm worried for Alois...we'll figure something out when the time comes. You don't ever have to question the way I feel about you. I love you and I always will.

I was hugging Claude with all my strength as a single tear rolled down my cheek. He slowly wiped it away with his white gloved hand and stroked my hair.

Claude: Indeed I understand. This IS love. And I love you as well my butterfly....
