Me and the two love birds walked over to the park where they sat on a bench just enjoying each other's company, whilst I just stood there trying to think of how I can escape from this. All of this!

I felt a presence besides me which made me turn around and come face to face with a disgusted David.

"I hate that man, he left my poor mother." He whispered in my ear.

Of course, how could I be so foolish and forget that lovely lady that had gone by the name of 'mrs. Mckulk'. 

This guy really is a sick freak!

I felt sorrow for that lady and the boys just being abandoned by their father/ husband (in the case of their mother).

"I'm sorry for what he has done-" I was cut off by David though, "don't be. I just came to say goodbye as I am leaving. I can no longer see my mother go through this pain and Jake will stay here to take care of her, so I know she isn't completely alone." He said whilst nodding his head; looking like he was still trying to convince himself.

I lightly touched his arm which made him look at me with sad eyes, "I've already packed, care if I accompany you?" I whispered to him so the two love birds besides us couldn't hear.

David looked to the ground, "but you can't leave. The only reason Jake is staying here is because of you."

I also looked to the ground, "well I can't deal with this-" I said whilst nodding my head to the couple next to us, "I'd rather go back to the city and being accompanied by you would make it a whole lot better for me."

I looked up from the ground and saw David who was visibly debating with his eyes.

"So?" I asked him.

"So what?" I heard my mother say from behind me.

"Hello David." My mother said cheerfully whilst extending her hand out to him.

"Pleasure to finally meet you." My mother continued whilst still holding out her hand.

David warily took my mothers hand and lightly shook it, "pleasures all mine."

I looked over to mr. Mckulk who had a stern face which was directed at David. I looked back at David who held the same expression towards mr. Mckulk.

I quickly latched onto Davids arm and spoke, "me and David are going to go for a walk now, see y'all later." I said whilst walking away.

"Curfew is at 8." I heard mr. Mckulk say from behind me.

God, why is he trying to act like my father; it's just extremely wrong.

Anyway, me and David ended up walking to the previous Mckulk residents. It looked the same but it now had this full feeling to it. 

I heard David sigh as he opened up the gate to let me into the large front garden, "penny for your thoughts?" I asked.

I looked at David who held a frown upon his face, "it's just with my father leaving. It's ruined us as a family. My
mother now cries every second of every day, Jake is always thinking nowadays of how to fix all this and me, well-" he stopped and looked at the ground, "well, what?" I asked.

David slightly looked up at me and let a tear slip, "I am to be engaged to lavender."

" What?!" I shouted out. That evil creature, but why? And as if David could read my mind he replied,

"My father said before he left that he needed to make amends with his previous wife who will soon be out of prison. So, instead of Jake like he apparently originally intended on using, he chose me. The only reason he chose me is because he thought that you would become Jakes bride but I guess now all is down the drain for that?" He asked.

I felt a tear slip down my face, "I really wish I could but that's incest." I whispered.

"But everyone does it." David stated. (Keep in mind this is the more older times when incest wasn't a crime.)

I sighed, "but it would be wrong."

David looked at the door of his house and turned back around to me, "I know."

He sighed before walking up to his house and opening up the door, myself following suit.

"Mother, I'm home." David called aloud.

There wasn't a reply.

"Mother?" David called in a concerned voice.

He then started to manically look in each room, whilst I still followed suit.

He then ran into the kitchen and ran over to his mother who was bleeding to death, "mother?!" David called out frantically whilst I stayed still staring at the scene before me.

Davids mother had grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed herself in the chest, that would explain the bloody knife on the floor next to her.

"I'm sorry son." Mrs. Mckulk said in a quite voice.

"Get Jake ?!" David shouted at me whilst still having his eyes glued on his mother.

And with that cue, I ran upstairs with one thought on my mind; we have got to save mrs. Mckulk!

I quickly barged into Jakes room to see him and lavender kissing in the middle of his room.

Tears started to brim up in the corner of my eyes, "David needs help trying to stop the blood flow from coming out of your mother." I quickly said before turning around and running downstairs.

Tears now started to cascade down my face as I heard the familiar sound of Jake calling our after me.

Life really does suck right now!

Anyway, I quickly ran out of the Mckulk residents and ran down the path and away to my house.

I can't believe I just witnessed the love of my life kissing another.
